Hello fairly new to this. When I am on the solo users page and it shows my workers and their shares, is there anyway to tell on that page if one of my miners found a block?

Thank you.

This page has all the blocks that have been found by people mining solo.  Shares really don't mean anything when you are mining solo.

To those who rent: how much hash do you usually rent and how long? I’m thinking of trying my luck but I don’t know a good amount to try with.

While no one was renting, I updated the rental port 4334 to have a minimum diff of 1 million.
Thank you for this. I will try my luck Smiley

Hi, I'm trying to get nicehash to point to ck solo just to try my luck. I point to port 4334 with 1 million diff. But the connection keeps on being on and off. the reason given is that the diff is too low. But I used pool verifier, and everything passed. How can I solve this? Any suggestion of rental hash power on ck solo?

Try placing a standard order and not fixed order. Nicehash fixed rental always has a problem while mining on solo CK and eventually the order gets cancelled.

If you are mining with standard then I would say give some time for difficulty to adjust. Personally I never had a problem with standard just fixed one gives me a lot of trouble.
I tried, the delta is like -40%

Hi,
I want to rent some hash to find my luck! I tried port 4334, but always receive this error: "Pool difficulty too low"
I know difficulty doesn't matter in this case but is there any idea how much diff i should set for diff to not get this error?

Port 4334 difficulty is set to 1 million, just how freaking high does your rental service want it? You have no control over diff as the user.
i want to rent 2ph from nicehash.(also i can set diff in nicehash)
so it seems the problem is from nicehash.

---EDIT
Problem solved
sorry for bothering you

Hi, how did you solve the problem? Did you set the diff to 1 million with normal orders?

Is it me or does it seem like fewer and fewer people are reading first page or even know how to configure there own hardware? There are literally thousands of videos and posts that show how to configure a huge host of different hardware/coin algo's etc I don't get it.  Cry

I entered my address and the following message appeared not found port 80 what to do to accept my wallet

You will have to tell us what software and hardware you trying to use? What URL and port you're entering?

Did you just wait as I suggested? After 15 minutes or so diff adjust itself without any input from you.

hi
im trying to use --suggest-diff but when i add it at end of my command i get rejected otherwise it work with difficult of 4k i do something wrong or ck does not accept --suggest-diff anymore
thanks for help

First thing: You don't need it. It will get adjusted eventually, I think up to 15 minutes. Let your miner just mine and diff will change to lower value.
Besides, you don't need to see any shares really to mine here. Lower diff shares are just for you to see nice statistics, but they will earn you nothing, this is a solo pool.

But to answer your question: suggest-diff works just fine for me. I have Antminer U3 60GH/s and I set my suggest-diff to 64. I did that by setting this in config file:
Code:
"suggest-diff" : "64",

thanks for quick reply
i know solo thing but i want to use --suggest-diff and it dose not work and its on my nerve why it isnt and your way didnt work too it still start at default 4k  Huh
helppppp
1. Are you actually using the latest cgminer? Only cgminer supports it.
2. Are you specifying a number with suggest-diff? It doesn't work by itself.
e.g.
--suggest-diff 64

A google search for a BCH solo pool brought me to CKpool, but I am still unsure if using a BCH address means I am mining BCH. Am I actually mining BCH. or BTC to an unknown address lol.

This is BTC pool. By using BCH address here, if you even find a block, reward would go to BTC address, if you haven't got private address for it, it will be forever gone.
