I had written to the support email, opened a ticket and the support team has answered the ticker after 5 months. The answer was no solution, they have asked the source of funds which I can't prove anyway.
So, finally you have lost your funds? I am using it yobit since 2017 still I have not yet faced any problem on yobit. Though I have faced problem on other site  eg: coinbase, crex24 etc. As an exchange there might have delay response and I think many support member does not know ins and outs of their rules/system as a result as a general user we face problem also sometime we loss our funds too.

Yobit's support is quite bad, the request response is quite long, you have to be prepared to wait. Go to the support at the site, don't spam on their twitter.
I wish good luck to get a response from Yobit support, the weeks sometimes months are not enough to hear back. I remember the old days when I was trading small sh*coins on Yobit and made over 0.1BTC, later Yobit management has blocked my account. I had written to the support email, opened a ticket and the support team has answered the ticker after 5 months. The answer was no solution, they have asked the source of funds which I can't prove anyway.

Also you can try to spam out into their twitter https://twitter.com/YobitExchange for last resort.
I think op might not be able to take any support from their twitter. But Op might be able to get a solution if the op try to contact on their support by their support page. They may reply but it may take few hours even weeks. It will not be wise to send multiple ticket too.

Who, in their right mind, would lock their account knowing they still have funds there?
Maybe he was exploring that platform and trying the other buttons if it really worked without thinking that his funds would be put in jeopardy there when he made a mistake, and worse he couldn't do anything to get it back to normal. We know that it is a bit confusing because it is very complicated to look at exchanges, especially if you are not familiar with using them.

Even if he is exploring, but the fact that he was the one who freeze it, then he can also unfreeze it anytime he wants, a reply of yobit's representative is most requested and in this kind of problem, a reply should be faster if their usual is not. I don't know what's the current update but it seems like OP is already offline after making this thread. Hoping to hear further message from him.

Yobit still exists? Isn't it a exchange that lists all shit coins and has literally the worst customer service ever? I remember back then just seeing threads popping up now and then claiming yobit is a scam or they got scammed by yobit and something similar. I bet if you google yobit scam, a shit loads of threads are going to show up on the result.
Well, good luck getting a "proper" reply and help from them.
I always wonder why people use those bad exchange even after there are a lot of well know exchanges? If someone even does a bit of a research about how bad of an exchange yobit is, he wouldn't be using it.
Yobit still exist until now. They even opened their own forum for people come to there just like bitcointalk. They even did pay people who post on their forum while it was still new (don't know for now, is their campaign still running or not).
That tool from OP told us actually a good idea to prevent hack from our account, but unfortunately yobit don't have quick response, so it would be a double edge sword tool

....
Now that answers my question why there has to be a freeze feature for each account. I think that doesn't make sense, if a user has found out that he's been hacked and no funds left anymore that button won't help unless the hacker will left some important coins on the balance which is likely.
This feature would only make sense if Yobit notifies the users of any unusual access like sudden change in IP address or log in from a new device AND if it comes with a link to freeze their account. If there is none then this feature only give their users a false sense of security.

Who, in their right mind, would lock their account knowing they still have funds there?
OP did.  Grin

You're right that it should somehow notify the user with those unusual login activities from the account if it's not coming from the recognized IP. And when OP did, I think that he's not familiar what does the button says.

No yobit representative would be willing to answer your concern. Because even in their own exchange platform, they don't cater queries immediately.
Nope, their customer service is notorious for being shitty--or nonexistent.  And as far as trying to get help from Yobit by creating a thread on bitcointalk, forget about it.  I'm pretty sure they've abandoned this forum entirely after their last signature campaign debacle.
Yeah, since they've launched their own forum too. I don't think that they'll even be willing to get back here and answer some problems that their users complain.

What freeze button are you guys talking about?  I just logged in to Yobit and I don't see a button like that anywhere.
Well, you can see it in the settings. "Freeze withdrawal from my account (I suspect hacking)"
OP, good luck with your problem. I hope the support will help you to fix it. I tried to contact their support recently, and the reply of the support answered my ticket is not helpful to my problem.
Thanks for that image. Now that answers my question why there has to be a freeze feature for each account. As mention about the support, it's almost impossible that he'll get a notice and solution through the forum.

yobit is famous for such behavior and unfortunately all that forces the platform to recover the money is the effect that will result from the members' attempt to show that they are fraudulent, but unfortunately their reputation in this forum is bad.

Adding more red trust will not change anything, so do not try to listen to what the manager asks for sending personal data, because in most cases they will keep it and will not return your money to you.

You wouldnt have any option but to create a support ticket https://yobit.net/en/support/ but i would say  that dont expect much because yobit is known for not answering support tickets.
Lucky for you if they do resolved out your issue without having any feedback from them or response. Also you can try to spam out into their twitter https://twitter.com/YobitExchange for last resort.  Cheesy

Its just impossible to think on that having mistake on pressing that freeze withdrawal button yet it isnt place on the most common spot on where someone can make accidental clicks.

I doubt if they would grant out such request specially if funds are on the main issue that had been freezed.

Or maybe send a message to their support first, you will get a faster answer in the site than in here.
Look, here's their account - https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/yobit-406594
Sending message to this account will be valueless as the owner of the account is offline about 1 year. Better op should contact with the email of yobit or create an account and leave message to the support team. I think Op may get a solution from them.

Also, Op check your email there might have option for confirmation or unfreeze.

Just contact their support already, they are not active here at all, prepare yourself for a lot of waiting though since their support usually take their time till they decide to answer, they also have an admin on their official telegram group which you can try messaging him but he probably will tell you the same thing because he's just their telegram moderator, other than that there's no other way of contacting them in anyway or solving your issue.

I don't understand it, why there has to be a freeze button that can be accessed by a user to their own accounts if the function is to freeze your own assets?
Yeah, that sounds pretty crap to me, and then there is not even an unfreeze button.

I am searching for their ann but I only found this thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.10047907 and looks like it's also inactive thread.

That thread is useless, it's locked, how can OP post in their official thread?

Yobit had already give up in the forum IMO, so we should find another alternative to contact them, best to is on their own site or in their own forum which they have spent thousands of dollars already just to make it popular.

I hope OP will also respond and update the status from time to time, and I think this is not the right section, maybe mods can move it.

Maybe out of the nine who replied here, he got the answer he was looking for even though it was far from the possibility of solving his problem. And all the references have been provided.
