PLEASE READ: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.17019449Hello,
Making official scam accusations is not my thing, although in the past few months I've opened maybe 2-3 threads in that section. But they are nothing compared to what I've seen in the past 3 years, since I'm member of this forum, and some of you may know that I am (at least trying to be) a helpful guy. I believe that people (not just here, but in real life) must try to do their best to help others, because we all live in a perverted world full of hypocrites, who will always jump on you when they feel they have some advantage. People are sheep in general and I'm always getting frustrated when they're exploited because of it. No matter in which country you live and what you do! Digital currencies are something which we should all support, because what Satoshi did is revolutionary, and it gives us hope for a better future of the humanity. This is why I believe that every person, group, exchange etc., deserves their chance to make something in that field (as long they're honest and transparent). This is why I've been cautious, when I see something wrong, because everybody makes mistakes. Call me stupid dreamer, naive or whatever - I really don't care.
Now lets fast forward to YoBit.
What did made me literally angry are their actions towards a coin called AquariusCoin(ARCO) (ANN thread:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annarco-aquariuscoin-the-water-of-crypto-no-premine-1694341). I know what many of you might think about the coin itself, but that doesn't concerns me. What concerns me is that the guy launched Aquarius is honest and transparent and he doesn't deserve such attitude. I consider him as a friend, though we still haven't meet in person and I'll admit that I hold a significant % of the supply, but I swear to God that this is not the reason for creating this thread. This is just the drop that overflowed the cup.
So what happened?
The coin is under maintenance for the past
7-8 months and ARCO is not listed on other exchanges. Forget about the speculations for a second and think of ARCO as a PoS coin:
- People don't have the chance to withdraw their coins and stake.
- To deposit them and put sell orders.
- Why should they buy the coin (I repeat - forget about speculations) if they can't withdraw it?
- ARCO is with ~931k coins supply and there are few single sell orders with 10s of thousands coins. Imagine if their owner/s wants to withdraw them in order to stake? Many of you know how much coins you are able to stake with a "fat" wallet in a PoS 2.0 coin. That's a pure 'financial' loss.
I was aware that ARCO was under maintenance in the past and decided to try to help, so these are my tickets to YoBit:
Notice the timespan between my tickets. Its not like I was bothering them every day, right? Now lets see my first ticket:
They needed 10 days to give that BS reply and ARCO, of course, was still under maintenance. You can even send YoBit's support BTC to THANK THEM! Lets go to my second ticket, shall we?
They needed
54 days to give me... oh, wait... isn't this the same reply?! I genuinely believe that this matveevka guy (
https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/matveevka-315884) has a txt document with prepared replies and he just copy/paste them. So the discussion has continued, but this time they were faster in their replies. There you go (it reads from bottom to top):
Basically it's not their fault, right? Devs are not sending updates (while I can bet my 2 balls that ARCO's dev has been trying to reach them 105 times).... Lets go to my last ticket (there is one more, but its not worth sharing it as it contains same bs):
Almost 4,5 months since my first ticket - same copy/pasta answer.
I must also tell you that I tried to reach them on Twitter as well, but they never responded. I have a personal Twitter account (see below), which I haven't used for quite some time, but I think about 2 months are passed since I'm using it again. Meanwhile I was using @FAILCommunity's official Twitter account. Here are all of my tweets (not all are related to the issue) to YoBit:
Then when I (recently) had enough, I came with this (I arranged the tweets, it reads from top to bottom):
Should I mention that I have even sent a PM to this matveevka guy? I was trying to be polite and you can tell I did him a 'verbal blowjob', but what was his response? COPY/PASTA... again!
Well, I'm not going to waste more of your time (if you ever bothered reading this far). YoBit are known to fake volume, that the ARCO is not the only coin in such situation and that the exchange is shady. My personal advises (and kind request) to all bitcointalk members and YoBit users:
1. Withdraw all of your funds from YoBit, because as the title says - its just a matter of time for them to disappear. I am 101% sure that this will happen.
2. Paint them in red (as well as every known member from their 'support' team) and put a reference to this thread (or your personal reply in it).
3. Stop using the exchange.
I know that this accusation will not serve any good to me and our FAILCommunity team as we are in desperate need of exchanges (though we still haven't contacted any since there are some other things to do first), but as I previously said -
I DON'T CARE!Cheers,
Spartak Tomanov
