Hello friends,

I am passing a problem very similar to YOBIT. Since November 2016 we have not been able to upgrade our currency Martexcoin (MXT) recently paid a 0.2 BTC upgrade and they only enabled the coin deposit and are blocking withdrawals altogether. We believe that the page has a false balance and has already sold all currencies out of their exchange. The other details are at this link. I would ask for support from the entire community to help us solve the problem.

Imagine a world without banks.......
Today I was on yobit and i explained to someone that a coin was bound to go up because of the law of demand and supply. IN any case, within a minute after I posted my message, someone under my handle posted a nasty message that banned my username immediately. It was strange and I reported it but got no response. I verified that I'm not hacked and even the coins inside the wallet are intact. I'm a bit worried about Yobit having some type of malware or their trollbox being vulnerable. How can someone do that if they didn't have access to the code?

hmmm ...

we are about to update droidz ... among other coins we have under our wing - like ozziecoin and granite ...

ozc has been dormant - but running ...

droidz has not been updated for over a year now ...

and granite they flatly refused to include in the exchange ...

hence why i have pretty much little or no faith in this exchange whatsoever ...

i did thank them for their 'service' when knocking back granite - as they at least responded ... but gave NO reason as to why - or what they are looking for - even though i paid for the inclusion ...

the yobit exchange platform IS actually a good platform ... its just the 'management' that runs the exchange are very laid back and dont seem to give a damn - unless they are being paid LOTS of income - whether its from direct btc - OR - a coin that has such a high volume that they will eventually be paid anyway ...

im quite disappointed with yobit - but still use them on small trades ... i ( and the company im part of - chainworks industries ) just cant afford to risk anything bigger than small trades we do here - until they get their act together ...

Stay away from yobit.
They have scammed enough btc, an exit scam is on the way.
waiting to become hero to leave couple of negative trust to them

This is the new place for yobit support tickets I guess. After posting here two days ago I got a reply today that they updated the wallet.

Maybe a coincidence...

Same issue with Nevacoin

An update was made to the code including a fork.

Release was made 17.dec 2016: https://github.com/Nevacoin/nevacoin/releases/tag/v1.4.0

Yobit notified the same day. 17.dec 2016. Proof:

Their support form claims a response in 8 to 14 business days

There has been no reply for over 75 days.

Not just no upgrade, I mean NO reply. At all. Not even "we are working on it" or "sorry it is taking so long" or anything... Just a complete ignore.

Opened another private ticket on 12.dec 2017. Also no reply to this day.

Tried tweeting to them. No response.

Sent a PM via bitcointalk to user @YoBit. No response.

In the meantime yobit listed dozens of new coins while ignoring my and other users tickets to maintain existing coins on their exchange.

Thankfully the exchange volume of nevacoin is moving towards cryptopia.

A warning to all users, withdraw your nevacoin funds from Yobit before the fork (block 291111) or your funds might be stuck with this bad exchange for a long time.

They fixed ARCO's problem 2-3 days after I started this thread and our Russian guy (FAILCoin is with a worldwide team) told me that a guy from their support convinced him that YoBit is trying their best to improve their services. Looks like 2.5 months later things are not much different...

I've been a retention(Loyalty) specialist. Number 1 cause of high churn rate is because of poor customer service.
Well, your issue isn't fixed for months so I don't feel the sincerity of Yobit telling they are trying their best to improve.

75days is too long for a significant improvement.
[/quote]

Not sure what's the case with them now, since I did relocated from Bulgaria to the Czech Republic and I needed to sort out a lot of things. I'm not reading the news or follow the forum lately, but it appears that YoBit is continuing with their bad practice...

Spartak,
I hope they apologized publicly to you and to the dev of this coin and offered compensation too.

This thread is worth more than 50% of Yobits' signature campaign posts and 90% ofmy posts combined.

They also havent updated their greencoin wallet in about 6 months

Don't hi-jack a thread. But I'm glad you did.

P.S.

Thank you Spartak.

YoBit fixed the issue with ARCO and the wallet is now online. Tested with 50 coins and all went fine:

Now I'd like to say a few words about the situation here. I was indeed very frustrated, because people does not deserve such attitude. ARCO guy is extremely good and humble person, it has a beautiful wife and 2 children + he's paying FOR ALL out of his own pocket. He never gives promises about anything regarding ARCO's development, if he's not sure if he will deliver. He's also not lying to anyone. If it was some sh*tcoin with the only goal to make some money to his 'creators', I would not care at all - let them fucking DIE. But this is different! I consider myself as a good person (at least in 'cryptoworld) and I believe that good people should help each other. That is why I engaged here and this thread was only the beginning, but YoBit guys did their job and I would like to thank them for that.

I was then approached by our FAILCommunity's Russian team member, who explained me some details about YoBit. We had a long conversation (2-3+ hrs on Telegram) and he convinced me that YoBit are trying to deliver better services. I wish them all the best!

Best regards,
Spartak Tomanov

And is there anybody online?

The admins had promised to solve the problem with the ARC. I will unsubscribe in this branch or them or me.

I think its now fixed, but I'll try in few hours since I currently don't have the chance. I am asking you for one last thing. Can you ask them to change the ticker from ARC to ARCO? Aquarius dev asked them long time ago, but.... And the new thread is here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annarco-aquariuscoin-the-water-of-crypto-no-premine-1694341

I can confirm that yobit is very very very slow with updates.

Had the same issues with Nevacoin. I submitted an update months before the fork, still the wallet was in maintenance for months after the fork.

And I also got all these generic replies.

I also sent three tickets for ARCO, same generic replies.

I dont have enough evidence to call them scammers, but I can call them extremely slow and unprofessional with client(dev) communication.

I mean seriously, we all know how long it takes to compile and update a coin daemon...its minutes. If you do it in time before the fork, there is no re-syncing necessary...

I think to be sure, you have to send them an update at least 3 months before the fork, and when you do, you still have to bug them every week of those 3 months to make sure they actually do it in time...

That's true but yobit is the only exchange where you can have fun trading 99% coins and have some profit. You have to know 99% wallet goes to mainteance mode after 1 month, so trade on that period time and have fun.

Better yobit then c-cex where you have to "vote", or nova where they ask 0,3 btc for list coin, or any underground exchange with 0 volume.
Also bittrex is going to become a scam exchange, they don't add new coin before month of source stability and source code review.
But they add coins like DAO without any test or stability, and then.....remember dao drama.
Most exchange do what they want, they have the roundtable. Some add only coins where they think they can achieve volume and profit, some add small crypto asking 0.1 like yobit, some ask 0.3 like nova, some ask you to vote etc etc.

You have no idea on what you're talking about:

1. As far as I know, Bittrex done nothing wrong so far.
2. Paying to exchanges to list a coin is just not right. Why? Because pretty much every sh*tcoin has the chance to be listed.
3. Listing 'coins' like the DAO is normal as the exchanges are expecting volume and this is how they pay their bills. You can't blame them for that. And, btw, I remember the DAO drama very well (what an irony...)...

I agree, 3 years now i hear bittrex is gonna be a scam but they have scammed no one so pls people stop that bull#$@$

To sum up the situation,YoBit likely has chances to turn itself into a scam sooner or later. The fact that there is a scam accusation against them 2 times in a month or so convinces me enough of their intentions. The day they won't be able to handle it,goodbye to your coins forever.

I want to add my two cents to this discussion. Why matveevka as part of support can't contact to admins of Yobit? If matveevka isn't responsible for repair of coins, why he didn't informed people who responsible for it. Coin dev gived all information, but any actions wasn't taked to solve this simple problem.

The admins were informed. Why the problem is not solved, I don't know.

Is there any way to speak with someone responsible for the wallet updates on YoBit?

It is difficult, but you fail to understand the size of the problem here and how it would affect the exchange. This is far from over! I'll ask fellow scambusters to engage as well. Literally thousands of people will know how YoBit exchange is dealing with its customers. Only mod in trollbox? He's answering on support tickets! I can understand that he's not the one to update wallets etc., but to answer with the exact same reply every time you've been asked for help? This just shows the level of 'support' on YoBit and he's part of it.

What if you are losing money and receive the same answer over and over? And the negative trust he gave me just proved what kind of childish behavior YoBit's staff has.

1. No one forced you to thank for the support!

Like there is something to thank for? I guess you didn't get the irony here (note: readers will understand why), but that's fine.

2. I, as support staff, have modest features and can't update coin purses.

You are part of exchange, which is running business. You are replying on tickets like a robot (see OP for reference), yet you are justifying with your level of access on the exchange?

3. If the coin has no updates (not send them developer) We don't have to look for them! We only provide a trading platform for your coins!.

Of course it has updates and ARCO dev (and me) notified you like a 115 times, but you keep repeating that bollocks! And no, you MUST provide support as well. ARCO is not the only coin, which was put under maintenance for decades... there are 10s of coins with the same fate!

Please correct mu Trust status!

Why? Because you did gave me a negative trust (which you just now deleted), stating that I'm a "Scamcoin dev"? I am a Scamcoin dev? Cheesy I'm not even the FAIL developer and I haven't scammed anyone! On the contrary, during the years I've warned people about scams and failures worth over USD $200 million! Not to mention the impact of the DAO failure, which shrunk the market with some $3 Billion in less than a week. Feel free to post your negative feedback again. And if you think I'm the only one who will paint you in red, think again. You had enough time for reaction, but you choose to treat people like some inferior beings. The only thing, which will make me to withdraw my accusation is a fast reaction from YoBit to fix all the coins, which were put under maintenance (or people are missing funds) AND PUBLIC APOLOGY IN THEIR THREAD AND TWITTER!

Only mod in trollbox? He's answering on support tickets! I can understand that he's not the one to update wallets etc., but to answer with the exact same reply every time you've been asked for help? This just shows the level of 'support' on YoBit and he's part of it.

answers tiket but doesn't solve them and redirects to administrators!

Hello,

I previously gave user darkzorger (https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/darkzorger-146301) a negative feedback (his answer can be seen in the screenshots I provided). But FAIL's Russian team member contacted me and I've been told that darkzorger is no longer involved with YoBit and hasn't been paid a single cent for what he was doing on the exchange. I trust all of FAIL team members therefore I am deleting my negative feedback.

Cheers,
Spartak

Hello,

Making official scam accusations is not my thing, although in the past few months I've opened maybe 2-3 threads in that section. But they are nothing compared to what I've seen in the past 3 years, since I'm member of this forum, and some of you may know that I am (at least trying to be) a helpful guy. I believe that people (not just here, but in real life) must try to do their best to help others, because we all live in a perverted world full of hypocrites, who will always jump on you when they feel they have some advantage. People are sheep in general and I'm always getting frustrated when they're exploited because of it. No matter in which country you live and what you do! Digital currencies are something which we should all support, because what Satoshi did is revolutionary, and it gives us hope for a better future of the humanity. This is why I believe that every person, group, exchange etc., deserves their chance to make something in that field (as long they're honest and transparent). This is why I've been cautious, when I see something wrong, because everybody makes mistakes. Call me stupid dreamer, naive or whatever - I really don't care.

Now lets fast forward to YoBit.

What did made me literally angry are their actions towards a coin called AquariusCoin(ARCO) (ANN thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annarco-aquariuscoin-the-water-of-crypto-no-premine-1694341). I know what many of you might think about the coin itself, but that doesn't concerns me. What concerns me is that the guy launched Aquarius is honest and transparent and he doesn't deserve such attitude. I consider him as a friend, though we still haven't meet in person and I'll admit that I hold a significant % of the supply, but I swear to God that this is not the reason for creating this thread. This is just the drop that overflowed the cup.

So what happened?

The coin is under maintenance for the past 7-8 months and ARCO is not listed on other exchanges. Forget about the speculations for a second and think of ARCO as a PoS coin:

- People don't have the chance to withdraw their coins and stake.
- To deposit them and put sell orders.
- Why should they buy the coin (I repeat - forget about speculations) if they can't withdraw it?
- ARCO is with ~931k coins supply and there are few single sell orders with 10s of thousands coins. Imagine if their owner/s wants to withdraw them in order to stake? Many of you know how much coins you are able to stake with a "fat" wallet in a PoS 2.0 coin. That's a pure 'financial' loss.

I was aware that ARCO was under maintenance in the past and decided to try to help, so these are my tickets to YoBit:

Notice the timespan between my tickets. Its not like I was bothering them every day, right? Now lets see my first ticket:

They needed 10 days to give that BS reply and ARCO, of course, was still under maintenance. You can even send YoBit's support BTC to THANK THEM! Lets go to my second ticket, shall we?

They needed 54 days to give me... oh, wait... isn't this the same reply?! I genuinely believe that this matveevka guy (https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/matveevka-315884) has a txt document with prepared replies and he just copy/paste them. So the discussion has continued, but this time they were faster in their replies. There you go (it reads from bottom to top):

Basically it's not their fault, right? Devs are not sending updates (while I can bet my 2 balls that ARCO's dev has been trying to reach them 105 times).... Lets go to my last ticket (there is one more, but its not worth sharing it as it contains same bs):

Almost 4,5 months since my first ticket - same copy/pasta answer.

I must also tell you that I tried to reach them on Twitter as well, but they never responded. I have a personal Twitter account (see below), which I haven't used for quite some time, but I think about 2 months are passed since I'm using it again. Meanwhile I was using @FAILCommunity's official Twitter account. Here are all of my tweets (not all are related to the issue) to YoBit:

Then when I (recently) had enough, I came with this (I arranged the tweets, it reads from top to bottom):

Should I mention that I have even sent a PM to this matveevka guy? I was trying to be polite and you can tell I did him a 'verbal blowjob', but what was his response? COPY/PASTA... again!

Well, I'm not going to waste more of your time (if you ever bothered reading this far). YoBit are known to fake volume, that the ARCO is not the only coin in such situation and that the exchange is shady. My personal advises (and kind request) to all bitcointalk members and YoBit users:

1. Withdraw all of your funds from YoBit, because as the title says - its just a matter of time for them to disappear. I am 101% sure that this will happen.
2. Paint them in red (as well as every known member from their 'support' team) and put a reference to this thread (or your personal reply in it).
3. Stop using the exchange.

I know that this accusation will not serve any good to me and our FAILCommunity team as we are in desperate need of exchanges (though we still haven't contacted any since there are some other things to do first), but as I previously said - I DON'T CARE!

Cheers,
Spartak Tomanov
