TIME TO BAN THE YOBIT SCAM!!
I'm just going to assume that if a newbie posting that, and only that (account has been dead ever since); it is actually someone from Yobit trying not to "taint" their reputation for launching macro-spam campaigns.

Absolutely. Yobit have always used fake accounts to shill their scam & it doesn't surprise me that they are doing it again now that their temp ban is over. There are a few other accounts on that thread that are heavily spamming now too, trying to defend the scam - I seriously can't believe that they have been allowed back on BCT.

There is no official announcement about the campaign relaunch; but a couple of days ago I did see this in the service board

I'm not affiliated with Yobit, just letting people know that its open again.  I know there has been some controversy with this exchange in the past so if Theymos wants me to take this down I will.  Just letting people know its available for those that want to earn some btc.

I've got signatures blocked, so I don't see them.  Did Yobit actually restart their campaign?  I read in another thread that nobody was getting paid, but that might not have been a true statement.  I haven't been very active here in the past week, so I haven't really noticed a flood of spam coming from Yobit's campaigners.
There is no announcement about the campaign relaunch, at least I haven't found one. I checked their site, twitter and TG -- nothing is mentioned. Also, the signature page in their site shows the same thing as before.

I think those who have worn the signature tried to check if the campaign is really active and paying or not. So far I've seen only one person claimed that he got paid, not sure if it is true.
Their campaign is active which means they got a page which shows up the details of how to get rewards and they never closed it when theymos banned their signature temporarily which means all the participants who wore signature will be blacklisted for removing their signature and they cannot able to get back again as far as I understand about their campaign type.

So if any old participants wearing the signature will not get any rewards, its just free if they do.

For me I think 140 post is a lot of work in a week. A Senior member for instance goes home with $88 in a week after spamming the hell out on the forum.
Having been in the Yobit campaign years ago, I can say it's certainly possible to make a lot of posts and still have them be pretty constructive.  You just have to spend a lot of time writing.  Having said that, I know damn well that most Yobit campaign participants won't spend any time or give much thought to what they're spewing out.  That's not just an opinion; it's backed up by the massive amount of spam we saw when Yobit relaunched their campaign this last time.

@suchmoon can you just in case scrap the new users using the signature? Should be only a few clicks for your script.

You're overestimating the robustness of my "script" Smiley

I might be able to do it in a day or two. Traveling right now.

im not in anyways challenging you, but let me say that is a smart response. you dont wanna start tagging people b4 Theymos or the community fallout makes the choice for us on this campaign, but you want to always respond to a ping (as those under scrutiny here MUST, i agree) (theres a reason Suchmoon put their "script" in quotations, but i wont get into it, not them being sketchy, just them being honest haha)

Nah, i'm pretty sure that these one-liners will do yobit more harm than good in the long term. Both for their own wallet and how they're perceived by the community(->Although.. could that get any worse at this point?).
Reminder that guests can view the forum too, as well as people who have never heard of YoBit. They might see the exchange in the signature and be interested in its bright colors. \

But they are getting what they wanted,"Attention".

Which might trap many newbies to fall for their IEOs and losing all their money.Yes scams are not moderated here but their way of getting attention is through spams which needs to be treated somewhat or else this will go out of hands.

Yeah crazy spammer was left in my Sig just because i was sporting a Yobit Sig
all well smh Yobit has always been good by me compard to other exchanges i delt
with.

And I think that's the real reason why this community cannot make its stand against an issue.

"they've been good to me" turns into "They fucked my too" pretty soon. Even if they have crippled one person that should be enough grounds for the rest of us to unite against such a 'promotion'..

Honestly, this is the first time I think I am witnessing a hard stance from Theymos against a sig camp.
Is there something wrong with my eyes or interpretation, or did you just do a 180 on your stances against yobit in less than 2 months time?

Ironic.

I guess this is time to bump this thread up because we are seeing the yobit signatures again and the plague keeps spreading everywhere with one liner spams to keep reaching the maximum paid post per day.

Yobit didn't changed any activity even after they are banned temporarily even didn't tried to hire anyone or manage by themselves with proper thread on service section so I guess this time the lesson need to be strong for them (Theymos ban them permanently).

wasnt it to expected that it turns into a brutal forum gangrape  ..?
idk .. 15- 30 Dollar for nothing isnt a bad deal ^^

20 spam posts per day isn't really nothing, especially if you have 3 or 4 accounts in the campaign. I don't blame the spammers. When you live in a country where $10 a day is a decent wage, $30 a day for 2 or 3 hours of spamming looks like a dream job.
The one to blame should be Yobit. They are aware of the problems with spam and account farmers this forum is facing and want to make it worse with their unsupervised campaign.

? if you would cut off yobit from an altcoin crypto forum / bitcoin  forum  ...
you would need to pull the big power cord and shutdown the whole forum ..

You don't have to remove them to make their lives much harder. It's really easy to ban their signatures and people who wear them, it's also easy to remove their threads and nuke accounts that manage them. You can even add some code that will turn every single word "yobit" into "shit" or "scam" in all future posts, so that to write yobit you'll have to be creative like y0obit, and so on. If they are making life harder for the mods the mods can do the same to Yobit.
It's not about going an eye for an eye, but teaching respect.

YoBit Signature Campaign

Dear YoBit Users!

YoBit Signature Campaign on Bitcointalk is active again!

Details: https://yobit.net/en/signature/details/

- Sr Member: 0.00012 BTC per constructive post (20 max per day).
- Hero Member: 0.00016 BTC per constructive post (20 max per day).
- Legendary Member: 0.00020 BTC per constructive post (20 max per day).

Sincerely yours,
Team of Yobit.Net

Received ✉ E-mail From YoBit

You are late on the news, that was posted on April 18, 2019, yes they got active for awhile but Theymos decided to ban their signature for 60 days.

Here's the announcement in case you miss this

129 users who were wearing a yobit signature and had at least 1 good report against them in the last 14 days are banned for 14 days. All yobit signatures are wiped. Signatures containing "yobit.net" are banned for 60 days.

Some people were talking about neg-trusting spammers for spamming. This is not appropriate; report the posts, and if that doesn't seem to be working well, come to Meta with specific examples and suggestions.

Good that they started again but think it will be again used for spamming if someone dont check this

What's good about it exactly? Yobit should be banned outright from this forum - they've been scamming & spamming this forum & it's users for years, their own service thread was deleted due to the amount of spam & fake accounts used to bump their scam. I'm sure most of the accounts that are promoting the Yobit scammers are operated by Yobit themselves anyway & those that aren't should hang their heads in shame for promoting scams on this forum - then be banned themselves.

Do a search for Yobit in the scam section, the list is never ending & each scam accusation has multiple examples of users being scammed within those threads - all of which were completely ignored by Yobit - they just keep on scamming. They don't care about this forum or crypto, they only care about ripping forum users off & by letting Yobit operate on this forum BCT are actually promoting their scams. It's outrageous, unethical & wrong on so many levels.
Well seems like the forum has already banned their signature so I guess we won't be seeing them here.

Good that they started again but think it will be again used for spamming if someone dont check this. From what I could read here this campaign was doing this the whole time. Hopefully this time they hire someone to check and to ban users for spamming. It could be good for them to limit participant for the moment if this comes to be that are open for all then I expect to see this closed in week or two.

Anyone getting paid 0.00005 when they should be paid 0.00016 BTC because I am for the moment ?
I received 0.0016 for 11 posts, so I didn't receive money for 1 post.

you have not received money for 1 post maybe because yobit can count it after next updatei don't know if post with other languages accepted?
Accepted. They are accepting any kind of posts, maybe it is checking by hand.

P.S It is bad that they didn't write their requirements, cause they're a lot of posts which they didn't count. I don't know why or mistake or special.
You made posts on local boards which is the reason why they didn't pay you for that post.

IMO even any of your posts deserved to be paid. Tongue
Finally all these drama comes to an end.
