I miss dooglus
awesome contest guys. last 2 contests were amazing.

you guys know dooglus is a free agent now and you should sign him exclusive  betting contract right away.

before betking offers a free buffet contest with bacon

A free agent in what regards?
Does he still not own just dice because I briefly remember seeing a dice site already occupying his signature space.
But being of legendary status does have it's influental degree to bringing in more players to the site.
Maybe you never know but honestly speaking with the current ethereum contest seeing the price pool going so high in just few days yolodice doesn't need influencers it's already a well established dice site now which has a long way to go

yolo is a great site. just like the bulls were great team with MJ

I've also played on bitslers for a while. I realize that luck is necessary for every player (if the outcome of the game is not dominated by the house)
First you beg for merits and not this out of context post seriously, if you want go discuss on gambling discussion if you have any questions regarding yolodice ask here

It's hard to win this game.

I believe on every gambling games it will always be this hard and that hard, unless you have some skill and luck to boost your winning chance. Without those, I can see you are going no where with it. More over if you are playing with chance games like dice, you may have set lower chance to increase the payout but if you can't even hit it so this will be nothing

alternatively, you can do a mixture of both, but reverse the x%:
you announce the date of the competition start and the investors get that coin investments on hold
BUT,they get a share of the total prize pool in % distributed among them, say 5-15%? proportional to their investment after the competition ends
this way the prize pool will not suffer too much and it may draw more investors because of the guaranteed, risk free profit

For now I think we'll stick with LTC and ETH for these competitions. I am working on an exchange now. Once it's complete I think we can celebrate it with another competition. For now - happy bidding and thanks!

Cheers,
Ethan

That's our dillema exactly - owning the bankroll allows us to run these crazy competitions. Once we invite other investors we couldn't fill the prize pool with site profit. It's like have a cake and eat a cake.

If you know any reasonable way out of this - let me know!

Cheers,
Ethan
You can suspend everyone's investment but yours while a competition is in progress. During this time their investment doesn't move at all, but they can still divest if they like.

That sounds reasonable - but the logic behind "pausing" an investment looks pretty complex.

Another thing that might be reasonable is to add only x% of the site profit to the prize pool. But then you get only x% of fun... But this is the simplest one.

The real reason you won't open other coin investments to the public is because you want to continue to give away all your money Tongue

402 ETH is the amount what triggered me for the next competition.

The prize pool is simply amazing and beating even the PD past competitions! Good work!

400+ETH prize pool was never seen when you started this competition reaching such a level is an achievement in it's self.
I am pretty sure their were some pretty happy people when they claimed their prizes since the competition ended a little over an hour ago.
Congratulations to the winners!

so today I decided to create an account in yolo in order to invest some bitcoin and ltc , deposited some bitcoin and was able to invest them but after I deposited LTC I wasn't able to invest
I'm not able to choose ltc when I try to invest , is this related to the browser or what ?? all I can choose is btc in the investing tab so hope I can get some help here

LTC investments are not open (yet) and the bankroll is private. We'll definitely announce it when it's about to change!

thanks for the answer , someone just answered me in the chat but was confused since this is my first day in yolodice and thought that I can invest in the 3 available coins
hopefully the invest will be soon enough
All of us are waiting for that day but I'm sure litecoin is soon going to be enabled ethan told after ethereum will be implemented litecoin investments will soon be enabled
This was true but I think with the introduction of the third cryptocurrency on the site the in-site exchange would be more critical to the site's improvement than investment of litecoin/ethereum at this time. As Ethan mentioned in an earlier post would be confronted next. Only thing I can think would be the issue with this would be to settle upon a rate to do theses exchanges between the three currencies.
