Ditch the job dude go full time...
I'm sure he'll do that if the site starts giving enough profits. This is still at a level of a hobby or a side project if they are able to do it all without the help of employees. Not trying to belittle, but if 2 people are managing the business it's still in the early stage.

So since you are pretty much the one developer for this casino, do you do this as part time work or do you devote all your full-time for this site? I must say its pretty amazing that all this was created by one developer. Must have many years of programming experience to manage all of this on your own.

It's closer to a full-time job in terms of time spent. IMO it's more about the attitude - if you want something to succeed you have to make it a part of your life :-)
Cheers

Ditch the job dude go full time. Do you really wanna be someone else's slave or be free with bitcoin ? I would love to start a casino but damn I can't program like that. I've made dice and basic slots but not connected to Bitcoin with no withdraws just a floating credit. You learnt what you k is yourself but I bet you were already well equipped before you made yolodice. Not to sound like I'm trying to take the food out of your mouth but can you recommend me where to start if I wanted to do the same or if you not willing to then could you give me some direction in making an altcoin. I know you don't have an altcoin but you seem to be a nice guy and you seem to know what you doing. You also social which is cool. I think k that's a huge factor. The human interaction is good. Makes people feel special xP
Anyways thanks for everything I am greatful I am part of yolodice even if it means just promoting them  Cheesy Well... Actually companies spend more on promoting then they do in anything else. So it makes sense. Eh.... I'm talking to much again.

Also the investment is really nice. I'm not just saying this I'm being serious but your casino best explains the investment more then any other. There is nothing left to be confused about which is how it should be oh... And it's profitable too. Smiley Unless you lucky and win big !!

Isn’t the regular signing up and login with an 2AH option from Google enough ? I mean I use that in many places and that ends up quite enough and never had any problem anywhere. Do we need to create a new way to login to make it safer when we already have a safe way ?
No it is enough to keep our accounts secure.
From what I read about another dice site months ago they had an admin account hacked into but that was through other means and nothing to do with brute forcing into accounts or password hacking.
So yolodice is fine in that respect and shouldn't have to do anything any other way from what those sites are doing on theirs with 2FA and google capatcha codes.

He doesn't do it all his own you know.
When ever I visit the site there are mods on the chat.
So he does have some staff and does not handle it all as you might think. Wink
I think you'd be wrong for the most part.  I do more than all the other mods do, and that's still tiny in comparison to the amount of time and effort Ethan puts in.  As far as I know, Scott and Ethan do it all.  I help with some stuff, but no coding or anything like that.  Those two are really impressive.
Then it is truly a two man or even a one man operation. Very well done indeed if this is to be true.

So you are a mod? I have seen three to four different mods on there when I have visited to see if i am in time for trivia which is very rare if I do plan it out just right when it does start. Cheesy

Actually mods do not have a huge part in this developing because they only manage the chat and that is not really hard to do, just need some quick responses from them to reply every matter that occur. Mean while ethan is doing this thing great, I do not know if there is small team or huge team Ethan brought to develop this or not but overall I can say this is really great thing
It certainly is my friend. Wink
I love how it is progressing and with the addition of allowing us to withdraw from our referral betting amounts now is a welcome sign of this sites progression. Because waiting for the same time to be able to do this with our signature campaign payments were a real agonizing time to just get 1 satoshi to our balance. Cheesy
But all is well and good now.
Thanks ethan_nx for this welcomed modification to player's earnings from the ones we refer to the site.
And will help us to get them to bet more often too. Grin

I also do think that security on a site is of the utmost importance with some of the other dice sites that i have encountered saying thei users accounts were hacked into for some reason or another.
But I do trust that ethan_nx already has that taken care of if this sort of thing ever does occur which I am thinking is highly unlikely will happen on his site.

I haven't noticed a possibility to login with master address in yolodice before, just got amazed to see this feature which i find quite unique to dice sites.

Will give this a try.

Are you talking to a new feature? what is that ? I'm curious about it, and what do you say is it possible for every gambling site? I'm really excited about it. If in the traditional way, we have to log into the correct address of the site. I hope you can share the method that you just talked about.
*Edited*

it is a unique feature and a pretty interesting one at that in my opinion because it is using bitcoin capabilities (aka signing a message from your bitcoin address).
we are all bitcoin users and playing with bitcoin, so why not take advantage of all that it offers. we shouldn't be using emails and passwords only to recover our accounts it can be securely done with a secure and un-cheatable signature from our keys. I saw once someone suggest this feature added to bitcointalk, so that we can automatically recover our accounts with a signed message instead of manually doing it and taking a long time.

It is indeed very helpful and safe for all things existing therein. because with that kind of security we do not need to be confused or afraid to do something which is of course difficult becomes easier and also very secure. Bitcointalk may indeed can do it, but I see that bitcointalk is not a place of business. But bitcointalk is a great forum about bitcoin and altcoin, where every forum focus on discussion compared to a promotion

Scott, Ethan & Randall are doing great job so far.

Thanks! It's really nice to hear it! As I said, I feel great support from the community and a lot of people help us by sharing their ideas, finding bugs etc. YD wouldn't be where it is without trust from investors and players and a bit of good will from everyone else. Thank you! Other than that, I humbly realize there's a lot of work ahead of us.

Now, if only this SegWit/block size consensus was made...

Cheers,
Ethan

Its impossible that only one developer can handle this site.. i think every business they are building a group they want if what you are profession you should focus on that skills because handle it in one person is impossible unless if you are doctor einstein that you are genius.
Well even a simple business if you dont want to spent so much time you need to hire other people just to finish your project or business you can not make it fast it takes a years if you are the only who develop this site.

www.Crypto.Games: Multiple coins, multiple games
Not really if they used any others scripts. There are two ways this website could have been developed. One way is the easy way with scripts and so forth bought and implemented, the other way is from ground up, every single line of code written by the developer.

If it is the first one, its not incredibly hard, still needs expertise but not years of it, if its the second one tough, which I doubt, that requires a level of programming that takes years of practice.

Hi,
Can you give me some more details about your campaign? I received an email from you, and I confirm that I joined it, however, I still do not understand it, so if possible, I hope you can explain it to me in detail. I am very curious about it, what is the details of the award? And who can win it? I hope it is a big prize for all of us.
Thanks!

Hi,

it's pretty easy and it's explained on this page: https://yolodice.com/#bonus

And here's how we will select the winners: "After exactly one week the winners will be selected the following way: we will pick a random email from the mailing list, if the email corresponds to a player with level 3 or above, we will send a tip of 0.01 BTC to this account, repeat until all winners are selected. Winner list will be published here."

I guess I will just write a simple script that would pick random subscribers, unless you want me to do it "provably-fair" style. I could do it too :-)

Basically, you just need to subscribe to the list and have the same email address set in your account settings. And you need to wager a bit to get to level 3 (you could do it with the faucet too). That's all. Beside the 0.01 prize, I think it will be worth it if you are interested in Bitcoin gambling (and winning) :-)

Cheers,
Ethan
