I noticed the guy who is always playing with a 9900x multiplier has had some really bad luck these past couple of days. Unfortunately for investors most of his losses have been from Ethereum gambling, which is not a coin that the public can invest with.
Past couple days? Nope. He was just only lose yesterday on ETH, although today he has won a bit from his losses before (not recovered yet). See this 2 hits by him
Bet #9365627794  ETH bet  0.00083846ETH win
8.29991554 ETH

Bet #9365630947  ETH bet  0.00083846ETH win
8.29991554 ETH

He keeps changing accounts while he think it already profit or didn't hit 9900x yet.
you keep tracking on him? im also have an obssesion with high rollers and mostly those who play 9900 . there was a guy before but it was on pd and he play 9900x all the time , he was a smart guy and he share some details on how he hunt 9900x but im just not that smart to get what he was saying.
he have more than 2 accounts and the reason why he switch because he ranked them all up and not because he believe that switching account can make him win the game .

Cheesy All jokes aside I think a big whale who thinks he figured out a way to make a lot of money is a great deal for yolodice, it will be obvious soon enough that no matter who much money you have, no matter what type of strategy you play with, no matter how great you go for however long, in the end everyone loses.

I agree with you that following too close on someone will one day lead to your demise. In gambling there is no such thing as an extended advantage, in fact that can be considered luck--a rare thing that often happens in casinos.

With that concept you can appreciate that in the end all strategies, all lucks and what now will strip you down of your own money- so be cautious and don't press in like you got nothing to lose

The house edge is there for a specific reason and that reason is to keep gamblers losing in the long run, you can't suddenly change that edge into your own with any strategy because math will not allow that. However how you could profit, would be to put your money into bankroll, that way you could profit because you have the house edge on your own side and that would allow you to make profit from all the gamblers who loses money in here instead of you would be being one of those gamblers.

This is luck as at times even if I play with multiplier like 100 and till long does not even end up winning so can imagine those with 9900 multiplier winning has to be just the best luck in world to get you wining with it and winning multiple times is something just phenomenal.

Incredible hits!

Does anybody have some long-term stats over the bankroll investment?

What I want to know what is more profitable - YOLOdice bankroll investment, loaning to margin platforms, or loaning to the lending platform (yearly interest).
Investing into a yield farming or lending or similar set period of time investment type of places do have positives and negatives, investing into yolodice has positives and negatives as well, there is no guaranteed income in the world, nobody can guarantee you a profit over long period of time, many can't even do it in short period of time. When you look at places that give you certain returns, the scary part is usually them taking all the money and leaving, that is a scary subject and it has a certain fixed rate most of the time and that is all you get.

In yolodice the scary part is gamblers winning big, which happened time to time not gonna lie, but the positive is you are at the house edge side and you are making a profit almost all the time. So both of these have a good and bad side, I can't say which one is better and which one is worse.

^Promotions are not there to make money during the promotion itself only, they are there to do marketing for the website, for example if we do a promotion and reach from 80 users to 320 users in a day thanks to promotion, the plan is not to go back to 80, the plan is not to make money from that 320 because they may profit, but when it goes back down and promotion ends we want to be 120 users instead. That is how marketing works, you give away a bit of money and in return you make a lot more money in the long run. Without that we are not going to be making any profit at all, because lack of marketing would mean there will be less and less people over time, but when you do marketing like this and lose a bit of money, in the long run that will hype the website up and you are going to make a bit of profit from it day by day instead of making quick return.

Check some of the bankroll investment of other bitcointalk members below. They have recorded ther loss and gains on a specific period of time in order for other people to assess the risks involved.

All of which have different risks as well as different reward whether it be for long term or short term. Take a look at the graph to help you assess what you are looking for.

He keeps changing accounts while he think it already profit or didn't hit 9900x yet.

Those big hits came after I made the post. Before that he was also losing alot. You can see on the investor stats that the bankroll made almost 4 ETH in profit for the hour prior to his big wins.

Hi,

Does anybody have some long-term stats over the bankroll investment?

Thanks

You can enable zoom on the candlestick charts and go back to see how much profit the site has made over these past years. For individual investors there are a few topics in the forum where people discuss how much profit they've made.

We've been there before - some players tend to gamble with really high bankrolls, which let them win most of the time. But when they fail, they fail spectacularly and site profit grows huge. If you look our stats https://yolodice.com/#stats/investor you'll see ups and downs. It's not uncommon for the site to gain 60 BTC in a few weeks too.

I am glad things start rolling - I am seeing old players coming back to YD, and a bunch of new accounts too.

Cheers,
Ethan

My friend, please tell me how can I protect my account and assign it a name and email? The fact is that I use android and have achieved a good result for noobs, but I do not have the opportunity to enter the settings. My account G Gail user id: 325261, created automatically on the first visit. I would not like to lose him.

Ouch ouch! Well done to the whales,,, I definitely felt those wins in my investments;) I actually quite stupidly divested TWICE to win back the losses, each time was around 1.8% loss so I think in total over 3% of bankroll went down during this contest, but at least we know people are interested;) I do not mind at all these contests as I prefer more people to come and gamble, eventually house edge right?

I am hoping the competition restarts again or something similar as this holiday period is coming up and I actually might have some time to gamble;)

Yes, that is true with the competition the btc wagering would have drastically increased as compared to the normal days. As well have taken a hit of 4-5% within this competition week itself as whales won big. And investors were unlucky this time as not many have not lost big amount.

You would think that with the higher wagering volume during competitions that profit for investors would be up. We've seen in two straight competitions that this is not the case. My theory is that people who participate in competitions tend to be more experienced gamblers and they know how to maximize their potential profit.
Yeah. It's the risk of investing in a gambling site.
But, I am happy for all the gamblers. We cannot deny they are also risking the same thing just like the investors.
Hopefully, they will continue playing the game and join all the competitions here.

I really thought they will calm down and just let the BTC price surge calm down.

Winners are having some real luck as they are winning the competition, bitcoin price surged today crossing 23000$+ as well. So, its a double bonus for them. Investors in btc bankroll are having hard time as they are losing each time with their win and easily the investment is down by 4% just during this week of competition.  Sad

17 weeks were suppressed from my investment with a decrease around 40% comparing to my profit before this competition, which was catastrophic for us..
Congratulations to the winners and to Mr X.
