Top Crypto Casino
Good day to you all,

Can anyone tell me if Yolodice has a licence to operate an online casino?
Assuming for the moment that it has a valid license, can someone please supply me with the following information:

  • In which legal jurisdiction was the license issued?

In which legal jurisdiction is the company registered?

Registered contact details for any or all of the Directors of Yolodice.

Thank you, for your assistance.

I don't see how it makes any difference. Legally licensed casinos scam all the time. Sometimes they use KYC as an excuse to scam you or sometimes they just mismanage their funds. It is more important to know what kind of reputation a casino has. Yolodice has been around many years and I have never heard an accusation against them which is something that is very rare even for the most popular casinos.

I knew that they had one from somewhere, probably curacao but couldn't find it. I came here not to talk about the license but when I saw that I just wanted to help yet I couldn't find it.
You can't find any information about the licence because Yolodice does not have a licence. For reference:

I tried to check the website but I couldn't find any unfortunately. I knew that they had one from somewhere, probably curacao but couldn't find it. I came here not to talk about the license but when I saw that I just wanted to help yet I couldn't find it.

But do not be worried, this place has thousands of bitcoins in their wallets from all the deposits and investments and they have been very cool about it and secure about it as well while never doing anything shady, so I don't know the license situation but they are definitely trustworthy enough. I came here to ask about ETH and bankrolling, I would love to see ETH gambling here and I would love to invest ETH to it as well, btc/ltc/Doge all are great but ETH is also pretty great as well if you could add it.

There are 4 coins accepted on Yolodice, and only 3 of those are accepted as investment atm (Bitcoin, litecoin and dogecoin). Yolodice max profit was 1% from total bankroll, but it reduced to 0.5% for now (because of someone won lot of litecoins couple months ago).

If you often gamble, you should know if max bet on Yolodice still considered small rather than other gambling sites (even though they have accepted investment).

Good day to you all,

Can anyone tell me if Yolodice has a licence to operate an online casino?
Can you tell us what's your reason asking that?

I mean, does any dice site for crypto have a "license to operate"? What do you want this information for?
Yes most have a license to operate, normally from legal jurisdictions such as Curacao, Costa Rica, Vanuatu or (quite often I note) Panama.

Due diligence.

I don't think yolodice has any license to operate but as you can see they're trusted by the community and been running in years without any problems also you can see on their platform the users who invested to be the bankroll of their casino. They don't have registered contact details but you can contact them through here: https://yolodice.com/#support

Number of coins here is enough I believe, it is already stretched thin across the board and if you add something new, yolodice has to put up all the bankroll until people start bankrolling it themselves, which means a ton of money from yolodice going out for a while, they are known to allow us to be the house and that is why it would be a very painful period for them to be the bank and the casino all the same time, not that it is rare because there are tons of places that bankroll themselves but yolodice allows much much higher max bet which is why a HUGE bankroll is required.

Adding a new coin would make it a bit more difficult and that is why I believe the current system is working so perfectly anyway and that means there shouldn't be a reason to keep it going for more.

I was thinking of investing to yolodice's bankroll if I understand it correctly for example you invested 1 Litecoin and your total share is 10% of the 10LTC total pool and if the total pool became 50LTC your share of it is still 10% so it will become 5 LTC am I right?
You are wrong I believe because if the total bankroll is 10LTC and you invest 1LTC that means your share is 10% in the total bankroll but if other invest and the bankroll becomes 50LTC and you don't invest again then surely your investment remains 1LTC which is 2% actually. That said, if the the bankroll was 10LTC and it grows to 50 from that itself gaining profits from gamblers and no new invest then your share should remain 10% as simple as that.

By the way as I was checking yolodice I saw that they have lowered the commission so you might want to check that as it reads "We are lowering commission on all LTC investments to 35% till 31st December 2020. This applies to all new and existing investments!"

I see what you're talking about, thank you for the clarification. Yes the Litecoin commission is 35% I think it's a great way to invest to their bankroll.

The big 4 gambling coins for me,,, and never changed since 2017 when I first started gambling. I know a lot of people talk about stablecoins now or even TRX which is still popular on dapps but I just get the feeling anyone doing dice just focuses on these few coins. Every site I know adding others you see the volume is never as high as these four. Not against adding more,,, but I think yes we already got the only ones that matter:)

IMO, that's an advantage of Yolodice already.
If we look at most betting sites, they just offer BTC and Ethereum bets, deposits, and withdrawals.
Others would add stable coins that I don't really prefer and some are just straight cash that I am also trying to avoid.  Grin

So 4 is great and jackpots are still high.

Yolo really has a professional and a helpful team and anytime if facing any problems either on mail or on chat they are always ready to help you. Due to which the site is doing so well and will continue to perform better. Inspite of several years now it is being used by so many users and recommended as well. As far as the coin is concerned not sure if TRX would be the ideal choice because it should something be having a good future value as well and TRX in my opinion does not fits in.
I understand that the team is amazing at what they do, they are working towards helping people recoup that LTC investment for example so I can totally see them being helpful in any other topic as well. But at the end of the day somethings are not even on their hands, they could add some coins but it may not work as well as you think it might, for example adding tron could come with complications as well.

On top of all that, you would have some coins who people could stake and what are you going to do at that moment? For example ETH will be a stake coin soon, what are you going to do about it? Will you put your money here instead of staking? Will you prefer that? Or do you think yolodice will make it both profitable for gambling but also give you the staking income as well? All these are very hard questions.

What do you mean vote for their favorite coin? I think they could add Ethereum since it's one of the top coin next to bitcoin.
what? Yolodice has added ETH since long time ago, they only closed the ETH investment for atm (don't know what was the reason). You can know more if you regularly visited the site

Ah yes I was referring to Ethereum investment if that's what he is talking about I noticed that the Ethereum coin is not open for investment what could be the reason of it?

yolodice may have to add a few coins to bet so everyone can vote for their favorite coin

Currently there are 4 coins which are accepted to place your bets - BTC,LTC, ETH and DOGE coins. Yes, in coming time I do expect some additions might take place in coins and will have more choice while placing bets. Infact owner is aware about it and looking into this as well which will be the best coin that can be added to Yolodice site from long term perspective.

Yeah, I would love to see Tron being added because TRX transactions are being done at almost zero fees and makes a great choice for gamblers and even stake, sportsbet, bitsler and so many other casinos have it so hopefully Yolodice can add it too because it is like the new ideal coin for us gamblers with no transaction fees and fast confirmations.

Yes, yolodice is such a old casino that it should be able to add new coins more quickly because they are running since 2016 if I am not wrong and the team must be solid to have it running so long and hopefully new coins being added will bring more gamblers and profits for them.

Your share would still be 10% IF and only IF no one else added anything to the bankroll. Since anyone can invest or withdraw their investment at any time its unlikely that your share will stay the exact same. You've also got to take into account the commission, but yes your general understanding is correct.

For sure the owner are full aware about it, if they are planning to add more coins they will
surely bring it up here and let everyone knows about it.

It's a good point putting additional coins both for investment and for the gambling availability
as well.
