Right from the onset, the ability to control your self is the only way you will not end up becoming an addict in the long run. Most gamblers tend to set their mind by default towards winning at all cost and that itself has really cost them a whole lot.

As long as you know gambling is just a game of luck and for most part of it, you will be prone to losing more than winning, the ability to control those impulses when it comes to try to chase some luck or winnings will be an easy thing to achieve. Everything in life requires control and if you end up not being able to, whatever you cannot control will end up controlling you.

maybe the point is that if you play in the long run then what you will get is not a profit but a loss, you can get profit just for a short term game because of luck but in the long run the gambling system will always make the house win. so the point for the long term you will make is loss

You actually still can get profits in long run, it's just about your luck and you manage your bankroll/balance.

You can win, only if you know when to stop. It's a matter of right attitude towards gambling. I heard a lot of successful stories of gambler here and most of them has the same attitude. After winning they put a certain percentage for investment then only a portion of winnings was use to gamble again, that tactics will surely help you to control yourself and not to lose too much on gambling.

That's the problem, most of those people who played gambling can't handle pressures and always followed greediness, you can only win if you can play without any emotions and you are well prepared setting up plans and never go beyond it, it's a game of luck as always.

One reason for losing in gambling is greed. When you win money and do not quit, you will lose it again, because you want to win more and more and at the end you lose all your money and back to your home without money. The same is in online gambling. You will quit when you have no more money in your wallet. Online gambling is worst than regular gambling because no time limits for gambling.

I agree.Greediness will not really cause any good.It will only bring a person into its worst situation.I believe you can still win in gambling but if you won't be satisfied with the amount you won,so you keep on playing again,the result would be most likely negative.You will just end up losing all the profits you gained.

Sometime you will win the game but when you have extra money you will gamble again and again and finally you will lose all your money. The better idea is to quit gambling when you win money.

There are some gamblers who can control themselves and can go home with winnings although there are only a few of them. Most of gamblers will spend every bit of their money just to gamble and worse, they will sell whatever they have just to have money to gamble.

Quitting gambling is that easy to say but for some, it is hard to do especially if you got addicted into it.

I think you have to view gambling as entertainment rather than a way to make money. I gamble knowing that the odds are against me and I will probably lose a little. If I actually have a winning week, I consider that a pleasant surprise.

I think it's better to use gambling for entertainment only and don't have any purposes of trying to win the money because it's too difficult for us especially if we don't know how good our luck. Like the other people that use gambling for fun, I always enjoy the game, and no matter what I've got in the game, I can leave the games in any second because I know that I cannot always win in gambling.
