I just checked out the site and it’s a good site from what I have seen, though it’s still in its beta stage. Like I said, it’s a good site but you can’t compare it to YouTube when it comes to availability of contents. There are lots of contents that you can find on YouTube than you will ever find on any other platform.
YouTube has been around for a very long time and it’s owned by Google which is the number one search engine in the world, that means no other platforms will be able to compete with it. I’m not saying Cos.tv is a not a good platform, it’s good, I have also seen another platform that is decentralized and similar to it here, but I still prefer over them. The only business I have with cryptocurrency is with Bitcoin.

There are more decentralized platforms like Dtube, Steemit, Publish0x, but the question is if the tokens that they are using are really needed. Now I am not talking about decentralized nature of platforms, but the tokens are useless, you can replace them easily by using Bitcoin Lightning Network.

This is actually pretty interesting. It has potential to grow just like vimeo but I doubt it when it comes to Youtube. I wonder how they will handle advertisement or ad revenue? or they are planning to reward creators and users with just their token? I doubt that it will be enough to compare it to youtube's ad revenue system. Though Youtube is strict and stupid with rules, they still give proper incentives to those who comply.
I just noticed something, there's no option to change quality of video, that's one thing I like about youtube, I could save more data at the cost of lower quality.

I will not stop using Youtube, everything are all here, I can add this platform but like you I also have no idea where can I use POP when it is not listed in the market, there's also lack of information on how to make a profit her, but they do have a potential but it will need massive marketing.

Thank for suggesting a new platform but why I have to stop using Youtube? This is kidding! There is no platform closer to youtube. Cos.tv doing well but sorry they are not similar to the Youtube. Therefore they did not pay me for my contents, si, a big NO from me. I am being well with Youtube.

It's impossible to say to the crypto community to just stop on using youtube because youtube is one of the highest social platform in which you can introduce so many crypto related stuffs in order to promote cryptocurrency in all over the world many people in 20 years youtube because they say that it is more good to advertise and promote different projects so if you will tell us to stop using youtube then provide as a social media platform that has a lot of users like youtube. Yet the platform that you are saying is i said it but it's a bit more great because when it comes to number of users youtube has a lot of it.
Not just being the highest social media platform, they have been around, ran a business and have been profitable doing so. With numerous cryptocurrency projects sinking daily what's the guarantee this will not sink as well thereby making people to be in a loss.

Don't debate about you tube, this platform only use currency and crypto can make their business collapse. This is interesting platform even I must say where is proof of payment and do we need KYC still can't found the real information. The value also too small but for learn and wasting network, I think this platform is more profitable than you tube with their hard rules.

The data show that contentos' App COS.TV increased 300% of its traffic to 1.2 million users in January and surpassed steemit.com, which is really impressive. Currently, though not comparable with Youtube, Contentos could be a potential competitor of Youtube in the future.

I use Youtube because it has billions of videos, it has all the greatest content creators and I'm subscribed to dozens of channels, it has a decent algorithm for recommending me interesting videos based on my past viewing history. How is a new platform going to trump all that? Am I supposed to like it because it has "blockchain"? I don't care about how it runs, if its decentralized or not, all I want is good content.
All of us want to see good content and Youtube will totally provide those content. It's my first time to see the platform that OP provided and even they will gonna pay cryptocurrency in every watch still most of the people will choose Youtube. I also think that some people who will use the platform will get different content on Youtube and then they will gonna upload it to that platform. So basically, they will just gonna copy and paste the content and it just IMO. Although we can say that it is a good project still no one will stop using Youtube. Besides, I guess it will never beat Youtube no matter how many years will pass and they won't be able to surpass the number of users who uses YouTube.

Actually there is an existing platform that similar to this platform namely brave browsure. You can earn Basic Attention Token through the platform if you are a content creator like you made some article or even you make a content on your youtube channel. Later you will be paid monthly from the platform, have you try it? I think you must because until now the Basic Attention Token has been traden on many exchanges and now the token has been in the top market. There is no problem using platforms as the one you highlighted above, But i feel none so far can match youtube abilities
