It's DLive all over again, DLive also uses the same thing where you can pay the streamer or content creator by tipping them with their currency called LINO and other stuff to tip the streamers. DLive somehow is okay and can compete with the rival such as Mixer, if they just offer that you can get paid there than that's not that different with other streaming service.

I think people have the right to choose what they want to do, especially if it's related to the internet. I am sure that there is so many websites like youtube, and every website like that have their advantage. People will select what website they will use to upload their video no matter if the website offers free crypto or not because that is related to the comfortability that people can get from the website. The platform looks promising, but I think it will need time to become popular and beat youtube (if they can).

There is no problem using platforms as the one you highlighted above, But i feel none so far can match youtube abilities

Total token supply is 1m, if people keep being tipped with cos for video creation, what happens when the tokens are exhausted? Aside being on the blockchain what other advantages does Cos have over YouTube?

I use Youtube because it has billions of videos, it has all the greatest content creators and I'm subscribed to dozens of channels, it has a decent algorithm for recommending me interesting videos based on my past viewing history. How is a new platform going to trump all that? Am I supposed to like it because it has "blockchain"? I don't care about how it runs if it's decentralized or not, all I want is good content.
Hmm, seems to me you enjoy being serf class and having your thoughts and speech monitored and controlled. Youtube has banned thousands of channels the past three years. The majority of those channels were simply opinions that go against the Neolib establishment. Every single day without fail there is a culling of channels. They are protecting their pals - the Dinosaur legacy media which I have no doubt you watch. as well as their political allies. Google is a major threat to liberty. They already act as massive censors and of course, they apply those principles to Youtube. YT must be destroyed one way or another.

you cannot just tell people to 'stop using YouTube' and people will follow you instantly remember that youTube has been here for decades and all the people around the world as long as there are internet connection are subscribing in every channels,this is how popular that site is and Yours?are just newbie so there are lot of things to prove though you have advantage for crypto users as the offers for free crypto is indeed,what i can advise you is to continue progressing this project and Hopefully sooner we will see people outside this forum that actively using your site.

Youtube allows us to upload videos coming from creative commons and from videos on Youtube that was marked by the uploader as creative commons, is it possible on this video sharing platform to upload videos that are marked as creative commons, I cannot find any information on the site.

It is difficult to beat Youtube because it is so popular and easy to use. I have known a lot of projects like this but until now those projects seem to be dead and without any updates, if costv wants to revolutionize then I think they need have to get more requests
Remember Youtube is managered by Google and we know most new smartphone right now will have Youtube platform on their phone, so yeah there is no way to beat even to compete google for this platform. I saw there is similar platform like google but they didn't been known by most people, they just used by some people who know it and the rest they are difficult to find another new member.
As for this cost.tv, is it new platform that specific for cryptocurrency? I think that will be good if the platform to be use as cryptocurrency place, since there are many people who knows cryptocurrency even the new comer will also come to this platform easily.

Although this is good in fact one of the things we are clamouring for that is, use case yet it will still be difficult for people to abandon YouTube now. At least this project is still in its infancy therefore a lot of improvements is needed to prove the platform worthy and this depends greatly on the team as well as the community members. The team need to be consistent and straightforward towards what they want and not bringing excuses midway which is what most upcoming projects do. I really like this as it will show people more about blockchain while rewarding them as well, in the long run leading to a healthy competition between it and YouTube.

There are just more people in youtube where an aspiring marketing specialist will have his dream audience than in any platform where only a handful of users in it, even the COS reviews are in youtube. But COS seem very impressive since it started with a very low price and listed in binance.

This is a good step on the right direction, a "blockchain-like-youtube" platform. This is really a good one and we need more this type of innovations that will make people develop more interest in blockchain platforms. One of the feature I found appealing is the fact there is reward when certian activities are carried out. Although the platform is still in beta testing, and therefore there is likely to be bugs, but at least is shows that a new thing or a new platform is about to be experienced in this space. Also, owing to the competition which lies ahead, the team will need to put in more hard work to ensure they keep winning.

I'll believe in this project, but not too much. Youtube already has its throne since 2009 and that's way a lot of years to maintain that reputation. I would require to watch the price of the coin before I can say that I would dip my feet into the waters.
Just I observed lately that many crypto coins have their specific way of earning their coins, like BAT from using Brave Browser. Well I am not here to compare platforms as they have their own uniqueness.

Good achievements, this could be an alternative for me who now likes watching YouTube videos. From several similar projects, I think this project is the best because it has been entered in the best exchange. Hope this project lasts as long as YouTube. Despite all this offers i still feel it will take a while before more people will pay attention to any other video viewing sites other than YouTube, "old habit die hard" they say,
I would actually love to see a site that gives YouTube a run for the money because of the monopoly of it, already YouTube has captured the world, it will be hard to compete.
The Crypto community should unite and make this thing happen, we need a project that is very similar to Youtube but the community can call our own, yes Youtube is a giant and Goliath but we can create a David to fight Youtube, we are a big community already all we need is a trusted developers to manage it.
