That was really a very good initiative done by this 9 years old boy, of which the statement given above tells much about all we need to know how a 9year could have been able to have such vast knowledge to educate his colleagues at school about the importance of Bitcoin to the society. Because from my little research, I'm made to understand that "Decentra Suze" Henry's mum is a Bitcoin Journalist & Head of Mining and Sustainability in the U.K, and as such you never could have expected anything less, but another young Bitcoin enthusiast, which Henry actually took over, as a proud son of his mother.

I’m not sure if his mother comment on the article is good or bad because the picture on the article censored the face of the kid for his privacy while the mother publicly admitted that her child which contradicts the censorship of the identity.

It’s really nice to see young generation encouraging their peers to become curious about Bitcoin. Not all young age have the interest to become serious on pursuing topics that involve finance and investment.

Likewise, the efforts of a nine-year-old boy living in the UK show that Bitcoin is for everyone and that Bitcoin education is for all ages.

Decentrasuje's son Henry, who lives in the United Kingdom, gave a lecture on Bitcoin to his classmates in an engaging and entertaining presentation where he discussed Bitcoin in detail with his classmates.

Asked why Henry is so curious about Bitcoin, his mother said "Henry is surrounded by Bitcoin. His dad and I talk about it all the time. There's always a Bitcoin podcast in the background and Henry often asks the question 'How does Bitcoin go up and down?'"

Nothing lasts forever
Bitcoin is now one of the most popular and well-loved coins around the world.
Ever since Bitcoin was created, different people have been researching Bitcoin in different ways.
Bitcoin is now accepted in almost all countries of the world. There are even many countries where Bitcoin is being taught in different ways, especially in El Salvador we have seen such cases.

I think this is how I will teach my child about Bitcoin.
I have a child that I want to raise from an early age to experience Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Now that he is only 6 years old I think he has enough time to learn.

Reading this post I just remembered the day when I had a vocabulary session and I had to present any topic and speak about it for 5 minutes.
Obviously, I chose bitcoin. I kept speaking for 5 minutes and made everyone aware about bitcoin in just 5 minutes and gave them a high level idea about it.
I was so sure about the topic that I didn't prepare anything because I knew that I have enough content to speak about.
Yet 5 minutes were not sufficient and I felt like speaking more but couldn't due to the time constraint.

P.S: My result was good.

This also reminds me of a colleague of mind who is still a college student but is already having a Bitcoin-related workshop of his own where most of his students were pretty much older than him.

Even if I am at least more than a decade older than him, I am still eager to learn a lot of stuff coming from him as his expertise is more into technical analysis, spot and futures trading.

I can envision it one day that we could see more youngsters in schools teaching their classmates (and teachers) about Bitcoin.

He was just 9 years old, yet he was able to tell his classmates about Bitcoin and had prepared for it so that his peers would not be confused. I know that many of his classmates will not comprehend the concept of Bitcoin and how we might benefit from it in the future, but I know that with time, they will learn and get interested.

It was a smack in the face to those who understand Bitcoin but can't even tell their friends about it because of their fear and shame. I hope it serves as an inspiration for us to share Bitcoin to our friends who are unfamiliar with it so that we may contribute to the adoption.

Imagine he knew all this by the age of 9? I can sense that he can do more in the future and more technical than bitcoin.

His parents likely doing crypto too and teaches their kid.
Although he is young in age, he is old in experience as he has acquired enough knowledge about cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin from his parents. For his expertise he is discussing Bitcoin with his classmates and teaching them Bitcoin. It's really incredible.
The young people we have in this new generation are very smart in thinking, the way they understand new innovations very easily is very surprising.  I'm not surprised seeing young boy like who knows about bitcoin,  it is very common people of his age are investing things that  seems difficult for adults to think about.  With the knowledge of bitcoin in him at is age is very impressive,  when he grows to be a youth I think he will be so  loaded with the knowledge of technical aspects of bitcoin.

We are in an era where young people are so much Interesting about bitcoin, and I believe they will take bitcoin to another level, not just about investing but also I'm the technical aspect.

This demonstrates how much environment can affect a Childs growth and interest, and why we should be specific about the kind of environment to raise our children. At the early stages of their lives, we have to ensure that children are not just exposed to environments that are unhealthy for their growth. An environment can be unhealthy due to what is been discussed there, and since children can easily carry whatever they hear in their hearts, care has to be taken to control what a child listens to. The parents of the boy already made sure that the boy was exposed to healthy contents and that has helped.

When other young kids in same age grade as the boy see how much knowledge their friend has, some will be inspired to be like him.

Imagine he knew all this by the age of 9? I can sense that he can do more in the future and more technical than bitcoin. A lots of users doing crypto arent really old people butt some are quite young and still on their early phase of life. They are lucky to be exposed with this kind of environment unlike before that to learn bitcoin you must deal with it and none are really helpful about it.

His parents likely doing crypto too and teaches their kid.

I have been in this industry for a few years, and I just read an article like this that, at the young age of 9, already has knowledge of Bitcoin, which means it is obvious that the parents of that child are bitcoin or crypto enthusiasts. That's no longer surprising, and that's normal.

As someone who also has a child who is 4 years old, when he turns 7, I will start familiarizing him with Bitcoin or cryptocurrency. But I'm not going to explain it to him yet; I'm just going to familiarize him, and then I'll explain it to him in a simple way that I know he can understand somehow. But in fairness to that boy, that's really incredible for that age.

Financial know-how is critical for people of all ages, not just the young.  As a new asset, bitcoin should be worked into money learning for youth since cryptos like bitcoin are pioneering and may reshape finance.  It's key that young folks understand these emerging techs, including possible pluses and minuses.  Adding bitcoin into financial literacy programs lets youth make informed money choices and prepares them for the future of money. I don't see anything wrong with that.

It would indeed be quite interesting to see how the youth would be dealing with BTC if it was fully useful yet, which it sadly isn't due to high transaction cost and sometimes low speed. If they had apps, which would allow them to set up LN channels with just a few clicks as if they were setting up their messaging app and add their contacts, maybe this would allow BTC to spread among the kids and teenagers like wildfire. BTC could be much more fun in that age group. Now it is still a pretty complicated thing that can't really be used on a day to day basis.

I consider him lucky, his daily life is always surrounded by Bitcoin, he can learn whenever he wants without having to allocate special time to learn about Bitcoin. His proper understanding of Bitcoin was because he was taught by those closest to him, he could easily absorb the knowledge explained because there was a very emotional connection between himself and those who taught him. 9 years old has been able to explain Bitcoin technology to his friends very well, in the future he will become a motivator for people who have never been involved in Bitcoin technology. A passion like his needs to be applied to the next generation to expand public awareness of Bitcoin in the future.

Children are keen observers and good listeners, so if they are exposed to bitcoin at a very young age, I guess teaching them about bitcoin is not that hard anymore, compared to those who have never heard bitcoin before. For a 9 year old that is already knowledgeable about the basics of bitcoin, he must be smart enough to learn faster about bitcoin, and that opportunities are waiting ahead when he reaches a mature age.

Learning becomes more effective if the parents can also contribute to the learning process, hence creating clearer goals and understanding on the part of the children or learners.

It’s beautiful to see the young generation embracing bitcoin. Developed nations will have the advantage in this regard because they are more advanced in tech than third world nations. But what third world nations lack in technology, they make up for in zeal and determination to learn new things.

I’m reading the thread and most of the comments have been positive, which is surprising because we have discussed this before and at the time most people were against teaching bitcoin to kids. The 9year old teaching bitcoin to his classmate most likely learnt about bitcoin from his parents.
There is nothing wrong with the young generation knowing about investments and also partaking in them, especially Bitcoin. But I have doubts if they will concentrate on their studies and what matters most in life if they continue to earn money having their prime age. Having the prime ages financially early enough could be good, but we should also look at the bad side of it too which I believe many here are not talking about only for the money involved. What about their life and career, and the impact earning early could have on them? Money could also destroy if you do not know.

I started investment so early enough and I know how it could affect us mentally if care is not taken. Those who were supposed to face life with seriousness might start undermining the future simply because they have been making money through informal investment means. If it were to be the other ways of investment that have to pass through the legal and formal channels, children would be at least 18 years of age before they are allowed. But with Bitcoin and others, they can manipulate their ways to have their Bitcoins which is not bad but just concerned about the effect on them which I believe will affect so many of them negatively even if others will still be serious with their life. Conclusively, this is a mixed feeling for me, but if the young guys are nearing adult age already and are wise enough, the effect might be minimal. I hope Bitcoin will continue to flourish so that it will not disappoint them as some might have dropped out of school if they are making money and living some kind of dangerous lifestyle in the expectation that the money would continue like that.

Thats refreshing to know. I am so much happy to see this post because it tells us where we stand in terms of Bitcoin reach. If Bitcoin is on the tongues of nine year kid then man things are changing for crypto in positive way. There is lot more behind the scenes but Bitcoin is word/coin that is attracting everyone. It is becoming one of connecting link between that reality and virtuality of its existence. Imagine the same kid after ten or fifteen years from now. He could be greatest developer in the field or at least contributor on chain.

I just hope that new generation will seriously come up with connectedness like this. There is no competition for these kiddos if they start as early as this.

Let me correct you op. BTC is not accepted by many countries around the world and some that accepted it restrict its usage heavily through messed up taxes and other bullshit laws basically.

My next point is that BTC and crypto in general have a steep learning curve which needs to be simplified in some manner for kids to easily understand.

In particular, it would be great to practice alongside the initial teaching of children about the cryptocurrency. Thanks to his parents for increasing the interest of children to learn and know about Bitcoin from a young age. If we educate kids like op it will definitely benefit the next generation, and they will bring success to Bitcoin. That's why I love teaching kids Bitcoin the most.

I can't imagine how a 9 year old kid  knows bitcoin that deep, maybe His parents are aso into bitcoin that teaches Him since younger age about what is bitcoin and how great this is to the people.
It is even hard for me to teach bitcoin to my youngest but here this boy showing like a mentor to his classmate about bitcoin.

I would call him a prodigy like some other prodigies because many families have parents who are farmers but their children can still become mathematical geniuses and computer engineers at a young age . So , just because a 9-year-old has deep expertise in bitcoin doesn't necessarily mean their parents are also bitcoin investors.

I admire this boy but I wouldn't rely on this to force my children to learn about bitcoin when they are young and they don't like bitcoin . Bitcoin is not the only way to help us succeed and many people were successful even before bitcoin was created .

At a very young age they are already knowledgeable about the cryptocurrency world we know in this new era most of them are curious about things and those possibly lead to them deep more what the crypto possibilities and capabilities can bring, and also its a good heads up to them to make an investment as early young we know not only me that one of our regrets in life is to didn't know the bitcoin and make an investment when the price of it is so low. To the young ones who would like to join its good because they want some changes to those still okay because they want to enjoy the life they have we know how frustrating when you join the market.

Sharing information is good. Moreover more people should know about Bitcoins and the advantages that Bitcoins are providing over the traditional financial system. Age doesn’t matter at all. Maturity and understandability is what plays an important role in a learner. The kid really did awesome work by choosing Bitcoin as the topic and discussing about it. If possible teach him more about this and definitely he will excel in the field of cryptos in the near future.

In the digital era like now, there is nothing wrong with teaching Bitcoin to our children as long as the child is ready to receive lessons about Bitcoin and of course there should be no element of coercion in teaching about Bitcoin because not all children want to receive lessons about Bitcoin, and even if the child wants to it must be done slowly and must be done in a way that can make the child play while learning. Yes, of course age is not a problem for learning something as long as it is done in a relaxed manner and of course does not leave the child's world of playing and learning.

I think the topic that the op created is very interesting and is an example that even small children can understand about BTC and can teach about BTC, especially adults of course have to be more active in learning about BTC.

But of course investing in BTC is for those who are interested because investing in BTC sometimes makes a profit and sometimes loses, the point is that it is very risky.

Don't be rediculious op, Bitcoin education is not for every age, don't allow yourself to be carried away because you saw a nine year old boy giving his class mates lectures on bitcoin, I tell you here na now that, that boy probably does not fully understand most of the things he shared with his class mates, and this is because, most are premeditated, stuffs he learnt from his parents, and I tell you that, him teaching those things does not necessarily mean that he fully understands it.
The boy doesn't need to fully understand bitcoin because he is still a boy and he wouldn't have money to buy bitcoin and do some transactions, but the basic knowledge alone is okay and good for kids to know so that when they are grown up and have interest on bitcoin, they can learn from where they stopped. I must say that this boy will be a good bitcoiner because for him to pick interest at this is age,it is something wonderful.

It is one thing to learn and know about something, it's entirely another thing to fully understand that thing, many people learnt about bitcoin, know the basic things about bitcoin, but still yet, does not fully understand bitcoin.
Even adults cannot have the full understanding of bitcoin, especially the ones that are not tech savvy, some people can't even read the charts and nobody can predict the price movement of bitcoin. It will take years for anyone who is really interested to learn bitcoin fully to understand like 80% of it because new software will always come out. So don't feel it is that easy to understand bitcoin fully. Bitcoin is complex.
