Bitcoin is now one of the most popular and well-loved coins around the world.
Ever since Bitcoin was created, different people have been researching Bitcoin in different ways.
Bitcoin is now accepted in almost all countries of the world. There are even many countries where Bitcoin is being taught in different ways, especially in El Salvador we have seen such cases.

There is no age requirement to gain knowledge about Bitcoin. People of any age can learn about Bitcoin because it is widely taught. El Salvador leads the way in providing Bitcoin education. The President of El Salvador, Nayeb Bukele, has made transaction fees absolutely free for Bitcoin transactions in El Salvador. That's why El Salvador has a total population of over 6.5 million people, with only 2% of the population holding bitcoins in just two years. And more than 10% people are flocking to different educational institutes to get bitcoin education.

Likewise, the efforts of a nine-year-old boy living in the UK show that Bitcoin is for everyone and that Bitcoin education is for all ages.

Decentrasuje's son Henry, who lives in the United Kingdom, gave a lecture on Bitcoin to his classmates in an engaging and entertaining presentation where he discussed Bitcoin in detail with his classmates.
Asked why Henry is so curious about Bitcoin, his mother said "Henry is surrounded by Bitcoin. His dad and I talk about it all the time. There's always a Bitcoin podcast in the background and Henry often asks the question 'How does Bitcoin go up and down?'"Read:
I think this is how I will teach my child about Bitcoin.
I have a child that I want to raise from an early age to experience Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Now that he is only 6 years old I think he has enough time to learn.

Teaching children a little bit about Bitcoin along with basic knowledge from a young age will surely make them know a lot about Bitcoin when they grow up. Then they will be more interested in learning more about Bitcoin and this is how we need to educate the next generation about Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is very popular all over the world and is slowly becoming more and more popular. Bitcoin is getting legalized in many countries and Bitcoin is being taught to students in class. But I think students should learn bitcoin from college level or else educating people on bitcoin education from a young age will make people very reluctant to study. Because Bitcoin is a currency where money can be earned by investing very easily.

Op I disagree a bit with your opinion here that you shouldn't educate your slowly growing child about Bitcoin so early. If you educate your son in bitcoin education at such a young age then I think your son will develop a lot of disinterest in education and stop himself from that education because if he is educated in bitcoin education then money addiction will work on him. Education is very important for your son at this young age, if you hurt his education at this age, then your son will not be able to become well educated and if he is not well educated, then you will not be able to educate your son well in bitcoin education. If your son can become a good student then he will get to know Bitcoin well on his own.

The advert of bitcoin is something I know very well that have to do  with their own way, I could know when bitcoin was not popular and the price was low and when you want to teach people bitcoin they will find it very difficult to learn and they will be calling bitcoin all different kinds of names, so I don't think that it's good for we to at most disregard something we don't know how it comes to existence, secondly I want us to understand that bitcoin is something that is being viral and everyone knows about bitcoin is not we don't know anything concerning bitcoin.

If this kid pursues the study of crypto technology, he's definitely going places and if the parents were to foster this fascination and I do believe the same as you that the parents might also be a crypto enthusiast too then we would see a bright future for the kid and his classmates
Well provided they will graduate first. Surely some of those kids will pursue something related. They are still kids and young to know what they wanted maybe some of them wanted to be doctor, engineer or pilots. Its not that about money earned from crypto related but what is their dreams. If its about coding then might be a crypto path indeed.
Well, when they're constantly exposed to crypto stuff, that exposure is going to influence them to pursue something crypto related given that their parents don't try to force them to pursue something they don't want, what will influence you early and what you're exposed as a child will grow on you as you develop and have the capacity to think for yourself and so you will end up with some kind of locking on that path as you're continually exposed to it. That's how I see things regarding child development, that's why I say that the kid will likely be going to a career that's crypto related, if they don't end up in crypto related stuff then good for them, at the very least they still have a financial knowledge that they can take with them.

As long as the kid is interested and is happy with what he is doing, then there is no reason for parents to keep this kid from engaging in spreading Bitcoin information.  I think parents should be supportive of what their kids want as long as it does not endanger or put the kid at risk.

It is really amazing to see young people getting excited about Bitcoin, I agree with Smartvirus, even if the kid show interest on Bitcoin, parents should not push the kid and let the kid walk at its own pace.  This way the kid will not feel pressured and continue to enjoy his personal Bitcoin venture experiences.

Yes it is definitely a good initiative especially to spread knowledge on Bitcoin and education is very important to spread knowledge of Bitcoin to different levels. Although it is not possible to discuss Bitcoin openly in our country, the knowledge of Bitcoin among the citizens of my country is not lagging behind. From time to time we gain knowledge of Bitcoin through news published in various magazines, online educational broadcasts, YouTube videos, general discussions on forums and try to impart it to the young generation. This is definitely an important task for us because if we do not deal with this issue, our young generation will be left behind.

This is a step for the kid towards many more courses in the cryptospace. I wouldn’t urge him to jump at anything but rather, work at his own pace and based on what he could easily comprehend. Having a fascination about Bitcoin from the age of nine and taking it up for a science project and there school’s administration allowing him to have a go at it with his peers is truly admirable and such a good effort to ensure kids aren’t kept away from a technology of now.

It’s important to note that, this development arose based on how the child perceived his environment. Children naturally mimic their parents and guardians in their space and a such, it’s important that, if you want your kids to partake in the technology of their future, you don’t keep them away from it. Expose them to it but, never put them to it. Let them have an interest in it and the length they will be willing to go will surprise you.

This is great and a welcome initiative by the management of the school. I was surprised to see a nine year old boy knowing much about bitcoin at this age and teaching others, this is a clear sign on how technology will be passed down to the next generation at an early age than it was some decades back.

It isn’t right to force kids to learn something like a technology like bitcoin at an early age, but if they show concern and are getting it better, they can learn about it from a young age.

Start them young as they say but he cannot skip to the criticism of those people that will say, let them play outside and do their thing.
Anyway, that's the choice of the kid and can't blame him for being curious when he's surrounded by people that are into Bitcoin, that's why it's hard to change his interest coming from Bitcoin going to the games and other things that kid must do.
This certainly has its pros and cons, but what is clear is that Bitcoin must be taught to our children both from an early age and when they become teenagers. Because with the increasing popularity of bitcoin, more and more parents are looking for ways to teach their children about bitcoin. Maybe if they weren't taught about Bitcoin from an early age, they would have difficulty understanding it because Bitcoin is complicated.

As an example from the OP, a child who is 9 years old is teaching his friends, of course this is good for other children to imitate and what is certain is that children at that age already understand Bitcoin correctly, of course because of the upbringing of their parents who want their children to success in the future.

On my end, I won't force my kid to learn about this market. But if he has the curiosity, then I will guide him.
Younger generation tends to be curious for what they are seeing over the internet.
If my kid starts to ask about it, then, slowly I will introduce the concept behind it.
Because you can't teach this market in one sitting. It would take days, months or years before they can truly grasp the idea behind it.
Just don't shove it to their faces and feel the need that you really teach this market. Let them learn on their own pace.
They will surely appreciate it more if they are learning on their own accord.

It's a fun thing to watch but it's also a situation where I have another thought about how many people are always debating bitcoin learning for children.
With this example, we know that we do not need to force anything about the will of the child because it is enough that we are in bitcoin then with the level of curiosity of children at a young age who are always curious they will eventually get carried away with the atmosphere and have more interest.
I think this will be a good example when some people always argue about whether or not to agree when a child is trapped with bitcoin with this example indirectly answering that there is no need to impose any will if indeed in the end children have more interest in bitcoin they will be curious and search by themselves.
Even Henry is greater than us for bravely teaching and giving an understanding of what he knows about bitcoin to his peers.

Don't be rediculious op, Bitcoin education is not for every age, don't allow yourself to be carried away because you saw a nine year old boy giving his class mates lectures on bitcoin, I tell you here na now that, that boy probably does not fully understand most of the things he shared with his class mates, and this is because, most are premeditated, stuffs he learnt from his parents, and I tell you that, him teaching those things does not necessarily mean that he fully understands it.

It is one thing to learn and know about something, it's entirely another thing to fully understand that thing, many people learnt about bitcoin, know the basic things about bitcoin, but still yet, does not fully understand bitcoin.

And again, it's important to also know that bitcoin is money, and money matters are not for kids, but for adults, teaching your kid about bitcoin is not a bad thing to do, but just make sure you don't force their too young brain into trying to understand what it is not yet capable of understanding.

It’s beautiful to see the young generation embracing bitcoin. Developed nations will have the advantage in this regard because they are more advanced in tech than third world nations. But what third world nations lack in technology, they make up for in zeal and determination to learn new things.

I’m reading the thread and most of the comments have been positive, which is surprising because we have discussed this before and at the time most people were against teaching bitcoin to kids. The 9year old teaching bitcoin to his classmate most likely learnt about bitcoin from his parents.

Do you know why the bitcoin was so much popular in the current market, because bitcoin had come across the many different kinds of stuggles. Many businessmen was not ready to buy the bitcoin with their own dollars. After the all time high happened in 2017,many people come to know the real value of the bitcoin. Now many people who know more about the bitcoin was doing their share to both their younger and elder generations.Because the bitcoin was the biggest asset to make money for now as like stock market trading.

It is a good thing when that child is being educated in a family environment with guidance from parents in this field. I have also heard some amazing stories in the space about people who are young but have access to and profound knowledge about certain fields, and here I think this is encouraged.

From this story, perhaps I will also use it to popularize with my friends who are indifferent to bitcoin that they should see this as an example to follow. When they learn everything properly, they will not need to depend on Bitcoin to guide their behavior.

The uneducated patents will mostly try to educate their children for their better future by their hard working jobs. This story was seems to be the good outcome after the parents made their children educated properly. We also need to share about the bitcoin into our circle of real life.

Adoption and recognition is really on the move and this is why awareness and exposure would really be that be seen specially now that we do have internet then a wide set of possible audience would really be able to see those crypto ads or articles or whatsoever. It would really be just that normal that people would really be finding out its origin on which it would really be falling into Bitcoin on which it would rally be just that normal that they would really be putting up some focus into that. It is really just that these kind of doings is  really that something commendable on which on their young minds they do really able to do
on what others cant be able to do.

Im not saying that adults cant be able to say or tell everyone about bitcoin, it is really just that they are really just that too lazy or really just that letting that recognition would normally grow
but well this is just so me on which i dont really care on introducing Bitcoin to someone since i do have that kind of bad treatment towards it on which on the time that i do make out some explanation
then some people do call me as a scammer and on that time then i didnt consider out on making those kind of sharing.

Right. Well, they could just do what they dream of becoming and still use crypto in some ways they wanted to like being an engineer and maybe investing in crypto or like a teacher while also in crypto. If I am in their situation and have dream of becoming a teacher for example then I wouldn't forget to take my chances and risk in crypto while I have my job. As what reputable forum members here said or what they advise people to do is that we shouldn't quit our job just because we earn money with crypto.

The highest number of crypto enthusiasts in the world are young people. Due to ignorance and lack of computer knowledge most people from 50 years and above have shallow understanding of the cryptocurrencies.  I am predicting that in a few years most of the policy makers in many countries will be supporters of the crypto industry. Seeing a nine year old teach his class mate about Bitcoin also shows that Bitcoin is easy to understand. I hope some of his classmates will pick interest in the currency and become Bitcoiners in future.

The nine year old boy in your story is exceptional because he was not forced or persuaded by his parents to learn about Bitcoin. But he voluntarily and naturally became interested to learn about Bitcoin that was why he was always asking his parents questions. Such kind of children should be encouraged to keep learning. But there are some children that don't care about learning about Bitcoin, they shouldn't be coerced to learn about it. Children should be given the privilege of enjoying childhood by engaging in what interests them. I also think that six years is too early to introduce your child to Bitcoin.
