I once had around 2 lakhs of satoshi in that freebitcoin thing and then I became greedy and placed a maxed bet on HI then lost all of it . Being a new user that was a huge amount. When I lost that amount I had left bitcoin for like a month or so. But now here I am , continuing bitcoin.

I would say my biggest bitcoins regrets are not going into Bitcoin when I had the first chance to get it in early 2012 coz I figure it out to be worthless. I guess I should have listened to my friend who invested in it way back. I put my invested somewhere else which brought me nothing.
yes that is right to say, to me although i have heard about bitcoin in 2010 but i did not given any attention to bitcoin but when the price of bitcoin boots and people become aware of bitcoin and then i start using bitcoin.

My biggest regret is that I didn't start to make money with bitcoin earlier. I have heard about bitcoin like 1.5 ago from my boyfriend, but I was too sceptic about it and counted it all as new pyramid. Now I would have much more money if I would listened him, but I joined only on May of 2016. And that was only he showed me money that he cashed out from bitcoin. Roll Eyes

I think a lot of peope (myself included) regret selling BTC to make some purchases when it was in $200-$600 price range. Also a lot of people regret not selling at the top of the latest rally. My advice would be to restrain yourself if you believe in Bitcoin and try to short if the price was growing rapidly in a short time.

Bitcoin's biggest regrets for me would be not exchanging it when it reached 1200$ and know with the price going down every day it fells that i have missed the chance to get some profit
Yeah that's most bitcoin users' regret at the moment, including me. It was noon in my place when bitcoin hit over $1100 and I had an insane amount of money and I was going to sell all of it but unluckily, I fell asleep because I thought it would be higher than that Cry After 3 hours, I woke up and found out that bitcoin's price has dropped dramatically and I had to start all over again. But I think it's still better for me not to sell it at that time because panic selling is even worse.

I regret it when I just ignored bitcoins when my friend told me about this. Even though he is not a bitcoiner but he actually mentioned this to me that it is one of the method of paying anonymously in the deep web. Since I am not a diver, so I just ignored. If I just know that bitcoin is not just for deep web probably I have plenty of bitcoins already. Too bad.

I regret having to sell a lot of bitcoins when they were still between $200 and $300... If I had them right now I would sell 2 of them and would go on vacations to Thailand Tongue
Another thing I regret is having to stop mining. If i still mined bitcoin I would surely still have a bunch of them.
Maaan where have the same regrets , Before I sell 4 bitcoins for just 450$ , If I have that 4 bitcoins until now i can surely buy a new computer set of my own. That is my largest regret of all.

for the moment, the biggest regret I may, I do not sell bitcoin I had when the price was above $ 1,100. This might regret not only for me, but for everyone who has bitcoin that many who expect a higher price. if bitcoin prices rise again, I may be selling my bitcoin, to let go of regret what happened today.

I regret only when it's price reaches high and comes down  because, I think it's price will rise even higher but unfortunately price comes down so it can sell and i feel regretful

Beside market understanding, common sense is a great thing that prevents people from doing something they will later regret. If the price seem to be on the higher side already, then just wait on the side line for the price to come down again. Don't gamble on the price going higher than it already has gone. It's dumb. Look at how it makes you feel. Plenty of people then make another mistake, and that's panic selling to prevent further losses. That's dumb as well. Keep in mind - You don't lose anything if you aren't selling your coins. Just wait for the price to go up again, or try to average down your buying price by taking advantage of the price that has gone down. Panic selling only make things worse.

Well I regret when I did sold some of my bitcoins way back before the bitfinex incident and I didn't listen and followed some of the predictions.

Those predictions, predicted that price will reach $1,000 before the end of the year which is almost it already did. I regret to panic sell way back then.

But I learned from it already and always keeping myself on a calm mind.

i regret not hoarding the cheap bitcoins i earned in 2013. but yeah hindsight is always 20/20. its very possible somewhere between $100 and $1k i could have already cashed out to lock in profits so i will conclude by saying that regretting isnt really a good thing to dwell on. we make decisions based on what we know at the present moment and live with the results

...

My biggest regret is one of those you can only get with 20-20 hindsight.

I bought gold with BTC when BTC was at some $450, then some $550 and again at around $700.  It had seemed to me that BTC had had it's run (or at least had gone up and seemed vulnerable to a big downdraft).

Lesson learned: I will buy gold in the future with CA$H and leave my BTC in storage.

At least I still have a decent amount of BTC to enjoy the price rally.
That such regret is rampard cos a lot of people don't believe in bitcoin when bitcoin was at the early stage. While some do but they're sort of panic and sold their bitcoin back in the year 2012 which we're currently experiencing through the same Chinese government.

I do not regret much about BTC. Of course, I could have found it earlier or invested more into it knowing its current price, but that is not the question now, is it? I would not call it a regret, but I trusted some people with BTC who then never paid back and BTC is irreversible. I am writing that I would not call it a regret because I could learn from it, at least and never gave more to anyone than the amount I could afford to lose.

That I invested in other things 2013. instead of BTC

And more recent... When I saw rise to 1100$ is too fast, I thought about selling all I got and purchase when it goes to 900$.
Dont know why I didnt have balls to do it, I would made nice profit Cheesy
