no, wasn't instamined, I mined it for months on an i5, protoshares was instamined, I got 200 on the opening night (i5-3570k)

was also the biggest instamined coin, if i remember correctly

quark is by far biggest pump ive ever seen, 21 satoshi to 30,000 in last november

was with huntercoin, but i didn't sold..damn

Best win was with xmr, made approx 13 BTC from that, and I still think it will be one of the few coins to survive, so I will buy more to hold long term.

around 4 BTC profit from elite coin scam, i no longer invest more than 0.1BTC per coin for day trading so smaller profits and smaller losses with all the scams out there.

This is my first time being on alcoin part of Forum. Will read and learn and then soon hopeful make some profit out of it.

My largest earning was on a $10-20 investment into IFC back in 2013 when btc was worth about  $100

Originally I started with BTC1 but ended up cashing out $90 at slight loss or gain shortly after. If memory serves correctly I bought about 90 million IFC at the price of 0.00000010 to 0.00000020 LTC (10-20 litecoin satoshi) in July of 2013. A further 10-15M was mined within the first 3 months after launch.  Of which 80-90M was sold within 2 months

Due to the appreciation of all three coins BTC, LTC and IFC by December of 2013 the remaining 10M IFC was worth $1,000 which was promptly sold to buy Christmas gifts.

The only other time I've even come close to earning $1,000 is bitcoin or altcoin was believe it or not on 3 accidental primedice bets. It was late at night and I'd been betting for a number of hours. For whatever unknown reason the bet reset to BTC1 instead of 1 satoshi which ended up winning 3 times in a row for +BTC15 (at the time worth about $1,500) and losing another 5 times -BTC5 before realizing what happened.

Purchased XDN at 5 sat, sold at 18 sat, made 5 BTC, thanks to a tip from Toknormal.

I rarely trade now, made too many losses as a n00b.

I'm not one to show off but I guess the story could inspire some traders here -

Made 127 BTC off nxt and this is when the price of BTC was above 800.

Buying from the early guys, I managed to amass almost 1.5 million NXT and sold all of it very close to the top, this was because I mostly forgot that I owned NXT at all (people were selling nxt really cheap on this forum before it hit exchanges) I don't think I spent more than 1 btc on the whole stash I managed to acquire so I wasn't really even paying attention to nxt after a week, I would have sold a lot earlier if I was).

So one day I was being lazy, scratching my balls and looking at the BTC stash I'd managed to amass in 2013, how the dollar price was now so damn high, smiling and being very content with myself.. then I decided to check coinmarketcap for any interesting coin movements and saw nxt very close to the top, this was when I remembered that I hold over a million of these coins, as you can Imagine, I sold everything I had slowly over the next two days so as not to dip the price, I also traded fluctuations and only pulled out when I started losing - which is normally my sign to exit the market fast.

No other coin has made me any gains (percentage-wise) even relatively close to this from such a small investment.. made really good money off darkcoin for example but I also had to invest/risk a lot of BTC which I hate doing.

Things have changed drastically since last year though, I notice that things move very fast in the crypto community, I've never come across these kinds of gains again and I'm pretty sure it's damn near impossible now with all the new alt coin websites that add coins the day they are released.. last year, most alt coin trading was actually done on this forum first before the coins ever hit exchanges and there were not that many coins being released or so many exchanges to add them, so the gains were always huge if you bought the right alt coin.

Same situation I sold all for less than 100 dollars each

Spent about $50 on Doge around 1-10 satoshis, I bought them up from 1-3 on coinedup when they first hit the exchange. Sold near the peak a happy trader

My biggest profit was 0.4 from NFD.

54k BTCD all acquired within first 48hrs listed on bittrex...

12k of it came from mining

i'm not invested in anythink  ..
and stil got around 2BTC from Stellar and Latium 

Biggest profit in altcoins: bought LTC at 0.005, sold around 0.027-0.032.

Made about 100 BTC profit. Those were the halcyon days of early 2013. *memories*

LOL i know how it feels. Although not as huge as your loss I bought 6 aurora at 30$ - worst bet ever

My best bet was dogecoin and Mona coin tho i sold mona very low... it wouldve been worth 1 btc a day...

I invested 0.01 BTC on Latium when it was brand new and to date I have earned over 2.5BTC from them and still earning daily from the 100 level downline that now has over 10,500 referrals in it.  

Did it all with real referrals not fake ones  

I got 1.5 BTC from stellar at their first launch giveaway. i made many fake accounts to do that 

Made 1 btc investing in XRM in the early days.

Loss around 0.3 btc and cut my loss on the downtrend.
