The pandemic really hits my life financially but there’s no other choice but to face it and survive it. This crisis also made me reflect on different things in life and learned a lot from it because there’s a lighter side of it that helps me to become a better person.

I’m looking forward for a positive rebound next year, my goal really is to become financially stable that’s why I’m really focused on improving myself to overcome future crisis.

COVID-19 has destroyed many small business, with the bigger businesses taking their share of the economic pie. I believe many people lost jobs, but some are doing OK.

Curious, as Bitcoiners, how did the COVID-19 pandemic affect your financial situation, and what is your outlook for 2021?
I still believe that the economy will recover pretty much, so I’m just hoping for the better. I don’t think this is something that we should be killing ourselves over, it would be best for we all if we are positive enough and keep working hard towards making our countries better. This is a time to look out for others and not just yourself, especially those that have lost something due to the pandemic.

At the start it was difficult for so many people, a lot of companies had to stop working and it affected many who lost their jobs. A lot of people were complaining that they can’t afford to buy food for their family and all that. It wasn’t easy.

After the quarantine has been lifted and all companies have started to be allowed to run again, I am optimistic that in 2021
my economy will recover. For this year, the income of the company that I lead is not the same as before the corona virus
spreads. But at least there is income that can be obtained, hopefully the amount of company income can continue to increase.
Your lucky that your company is still earning while others didn't experience to earn yet because they are still close  .

your companies income will return to normal as soon as there is no more covid  . my financial status are the same or I'd say it improve a little because my nature of work is online and this kind of work are on demand now  . I'm thankful but I'm not selfish , Im wishing that this covid be will gone as soon as possible .

COVID-19 forced my small business to close for a while, for several months I had to live from my savings. Fortunately, now the quarantine
and lockdown have been lifted by the government, so my small business can run again. So I'm starting to be optimistic that my economic
outlook for 2021 has become positive, but even though my economy has started to recover. The income I earn is still much lower than the
income before COVID-19 happened.
Business owners are complaining of this all over the world, even if right now they are allowed to open their businesses they are not receiving the profits that they received back in the day, but this is because people are taking care of their money and they are trying to not spend it because they are either afraid of an economic crisis that gets even worse or they are afraid that they're going to lose their job, and as such they cannot spend their money with the same freedom as they did before, and this without a doubt about problem for business owners because it is going to be quite challenging to remain in business when your sales drop so drastically.

Yup, they all have the same problem. But at least it is much better than not having an income at all. They can slowly come back and slowly get better soon. It depends really on what business you have. Restaurants are needed right now, focusing on deliveries but a few percentage can dine in with all the safety precautions.

Well, you still evaluate if your business isn't really working out. There are a lot of business that are not into food and essentials that is really needed to close down. Specially if their operating cost is greater than their income.

This bull market was cut in March because of pandemic.  All  that I said I fully believe in. But that does not mean it will 100% happen. I give it high chances. Next bear market wil most likely start in 2022. It is possible that only in 2023.

Did you believe that that was already the bull market? I believe it wasn't. We haven't seen the new ATH yet. Show me a new ATH that has almost twice the value of the old ATH, and I'll show you a bull market.

Yes it was. Bull trap was June 2019. Bull market started in January 2020. Economic crash put bull market on hold and post pond it a bit. Normally new ATH of $20k Bitcoin, should be reach at the end of this year, now will most likely need few more months.

Bull market dont start with ATH. Bull market start after bear market and and after that is some time when price dont move much. Just open Bitcoin chart and see for yourself. Ofcourse we are talking here about 4 years cycles. Not a bull market that last few days. I thought I was completely clear since I also posted dates.

You're right, you're right. BUT, if we zoom out, what do we have? A 10-year Bitcoin bull market. Cool

Right from time I have been the type of person that doesn’t like to rely on one source of income, I like diversify and be involved in lots of things, and I started this due to my past experience. It’s good to always have other source of income because if you continue to rely on source alone, when things like this happens you’re going to be disappointed.

I know people who lost their jobs because of this, and I wasn’t affected because the areas I am into were not affected (I didn’t lose a job). But assuming I did lose one source, I would still have the other sources to rely on. Although this is usually a difficult thing to do, but it’s advisable that you try to do it, learn different skills. And as for my country’s economy, lol it’s  been bad, but I’m always positive.

From your extensive experience from diversifying, what would be your suggestion to make some money on the side in these hard, and trying times? What skills are the best to learn?

Please help us plebs.

Virus could stay with the world forever, that is not really the trouble, as long as we can make sure that there is really no trouble with the virus killing people, we could be really fine with it. Look at common flu, we all get it every single year, it is not like the infection is such a drastically low thing, hell one kid gets it and spreads it to every kid in the class and then teachers get it and spread it to other classes as well, making the whole school go through common flu every year, with exception of few kids.

So, as long as we find a cure for it and basically drop the danger of it down with some medicine and some vaccines and so forth, our body will make sure that it is immune against it killing us. We will have some fever some coughing but in the end we will get much better.

The lockdown was unexpected, and the most annoying part was that our government didn’t close borders when they were expected to close it; they left the borders open until we had more than five cases, that’s when they closed the borders.

After that the number of cases started to increase, those that came in contact with those that has the virus, and it was hard to track down all those that came in contact with the sick people, so it kept spreading and we had to go for a lockdown, even my workplace had to be shut down for a while and my savings was mostly what I relied on most of the time. But the company I worked for later decided to move things online. Things are back to normal now, and we are hoping for the economy to grow again.

I took the pandemic and working from home as an opportunity to take up a second job and make extra cash (to spend on more bitcoin). Been delivering pizzas as a side hustle and I'm in a better financial position than I have ever been. Also far less stressed since having no commute.  Grin

Bitcoin holders are going to be richer for sure! Already the prices are tripled from this year's low so one who used it will not be worrying much about jobs and other collapses but generally these people doesn't go for job and it is going to affect much the small business and jobs in different sectors. So overall it will be a negative one for the whole community.

Yes, this situation has made my financial is getting worst. Loosing my job because my company decided to mass layoffs for bankruptcy. The company can't be able to pay all employment and even I didn't get my dismissal funds. Greatfully, I've been active in this forum and also I try to be a trader now so I can get money to meet my family's life.

And I don't know I just think that I wouldn't decide to find another job, I really like trading and its concept to get money. I don't have to spend a much time like I work before, but now I have to find more knowledge againsf trading in order to I can defend to get money through it. And if I compare the income from my trade is more than I earn money per months from my job.

COVID-19 has had a devastating effect on the world. If the virus is not cured, the situation could worsen according to a 2021 survey. Nothing can be said until the vaccine is available many have lost their jobs and are living in financial crisis. It will take a long time to overcome this bad situation the amount of damage that has been done to the country's economy cannot be easily improved. Not only business but also normal life of the people is being disrupted.

Though this pandemic gives us all sad feelings, depression and hardships..I am still looking forward on positive effects by 2021..I am looking forward on effectiveness of vaccines and medicatioms..hoping that more people will recover..I am hoping thay everyone's lives will continue no matter how hard it is.. it would be better to think positively rather than having negative thoughts..good vibes attracts positive results anyway.

The world economy will inevitably recover as expected when COVID-19 comes out. If there are no new diseases, the economy will recover and develop higher. 2020 is a year of failure and many people have gone bankrupt. I believe the world will soon recover and people will return to work.

Only 2022 will bring some progress. for us Bitcoiners at that time bear market will start. Maybe the last big bear market.

What? 2022 will be the year of the FOMO surge to $50,000. Cool

After every bull market bear market start. Last bear market started in December 2017 and lasted until  start of 2020 when current bull market started.

I know, I have experienced it. My only wish was I wish I had a higher monthly salary to buy more of the cheap Bitcoins.

Right now there is really not that much hope for the future, the world economy is doing worse and worse all the time, yet at the end of the day you have to survive, you have to basically keep grinding life, what are you going to do, die?

So, even if the world goes worse economically and even if the financially we are not going to do better, at least technology and world improves all the time, which means even the poorest people live better than some of the richest people in history, think about it if you were Crassus and lived such a king life, you still couldn't learn about the Chinese theocratic history with a finger click, right now you can do that with mobile phone, plus food and so forth improved a lot as well. So all in all economy goes worse, but the worst is still better.
