Many coins have pumped in recent weeks so I don't feel now is the most opportune time for starting new positions. Of the coins in your poll I would only consider adding extra cash to BCH and DCR at current price levels. We are overdue for a selloff IMHO.

My choice is BTC. BTC price is still consider stable. IMO, it is safer for long term investment.
I voted for bitcoin because it's given good profit all the time and I don't like doge coin for any investment because I never gained good profit from doge coin.now dimcoin given good profit but not mentioned in list.
Well as many as the member of this forum 95% will choose bitcoin to invest in terms of cryptocurrency... for me in altcoins i will choose NEO as the team and developer are in the process of expanding and innovating the project and coins, ETH as for it is the next to bitcoin in terms of longterm investment and prices/value. LTC indont really suggest this as the price are continue to drop but i have still hope in the near future it will.pump it price, well i am a fun of LTC
Among the choices I would of course choose Bitcoin. Had the list not included Bitcoin, I would have had a hard time looking for the best. But because there is Bitcoin among them, there's no need to think rather hard. Bitcoin is still the best for investment for me.
There is no doubt that btc and eth will be the top 2, just as you can see the market cap list.
I would like to invest into waves, lisk, etc, BCH. Out of these my favourite is waves as it has more features as compared to all other cryptocoins, and also the development team is also quiet active and hardworking to deliver the product they promised us to give.
My favorite coins are decred, sia, monero and digibyte in this list, decred is also one of the favorite coins of charlie lee (founder of litecoin).
My favourite coins for investment from your list are: BTC, ETH, LTC, DGB and GAME. I like all above coin but BTC and ETH still number 1.
If my favorite coin is waves at this moment but there are no option this poll so i vote Ethereum.Whatever i hold some waves for future and i think waves is perfect coin for investment and my next choice ETH.

since when is tether an investment? you'd be investing only in third party exchange risk (bitfinex). if you really wanted to invest in bitfinex, you should have done it during the BFX token days.
but seriously, i'd be weary of holding tether in case something goes awry with bitfinex. maybe for holding short term through dumps or for transferring from exchange to exchange. regarding the OP, i'm looking more and more into proof-of-stake coins, thinking of buying into a few and staking/holding for the long term. the only one on my radar so far is DMD (diamonds). any other recommendations here?

I think so far bitcoin is a favorite coin to be used as a future investment that certainly has a chance to continue to grow with the passage of time and the popularity of bitcoin that continues to increase at any time

I have selected BTC because the coins which are favorite and i am holding are not listed like, ICN, ICOB, VSL , TIME. as this coins prospects are very good for longterm investment.
Pay attention to Zencash. It is currently undervalued but has a huge potential. The value will double very soon so if you don't want to miss the train start to by now at Bittrex. Just take a look at their project. Great news are coming which will definitely boost Zencah
