It all depends on the income we can earn, if we have less income then definitely we will not gamble as much as we want, we can only gamble a limited amount and at this time it's better to just focus on the entertainment than the money we can make, just to prevent ourselves of getting attach to it.

Everyone's life is effected including the gamblers. Although Quarantine did not had any impact on online gambling but a human being cannot play gambling all the time, when you are restricted to go out, you feel depressed and your whole life style changes considerably.

Income inequality is the case here. The poor sector of the society usually gambles to make more money with higher desire and dedication compared to the top rich. Risking the salary on the casino is a commonly known trap for the mentioned average Joe group, unfortunately. The higher they visit the physical casinos, the more they become addicted to gain "easy money". Quarantine changed their behavior but not their physiology.

You heard it and there are many news and articles on it and it really is true. There are some beneficiaries who are using the money they got from the government for gambling and some are for cockfighting.

I feel embarrassed, disappointed and disgusted with this kind of people TBH. There are some people here in our country who doesn't get any help from the government and yet these people are just spending the  money they got into something that they don't need to do like this. They are spending the money into something not important. Instead of using the money to buy what they want, they are using the money into different things that will not help them.

The poor will not be able to gambler because they need money at this time but we have people who are still making money at the moment and they want to entertain themselves, just like the people who are going into a land based casino, they love to risk big money but since it's not possible to go in a land based casino, they might find the online gambling as the best alternative, so the crypto casino or online casino will still live and remain profitable despite of the pandemic.

talking about managing funds, in my country we are seeing something very sad ... the government has banned the sale of beers and other beverages to avoid concentration people because of the pandemic, but people will adopt another technique to circumvent the ban, they stay inside home of the owner who sells beers and consume beers, I wonder if they don't do the same scheme with gamble


the problem I see is that even people who lose their jobs will make loans to be able to gamble or they can steal money to be able to gamble

One thing that I find most useful to avoid thinking about gambling during this quarantine is to do some physical tasks even inside my house. Clean all the things that need cleaning. Move those furniture around to have some change of scenery. Let those sweat glands do their work and by this, I'm also getting a little bit healthy. These activities helped me to avoid thinking about gambling. Even for just a little bit of time. 

This is by far the best way to try to avoid thinking about gambling all the time for those that are addicted to gambling and even for those that are not but that are facing a lot of anxiety, not many people are discussing the psychological effects of staying at your home for very long periods of time but most people are simply not used to this and they are getting desperate and in their desperation some of them are not respecting social distancing because they cannot take it anymore, and the best way to take our minds out of all of those problems is to fill our days with activities that we enjoy we just need to avoid to fill our time with only one activity and instead choose several of them so we do not become addicted to them.

This quarantine that we experience isn't just normal experience. Example, for me it was my first experience about a pandemic. And yes, staying home doesn't mean you can't do anything. For those people who are lucky to know some of the best and good gambling sites, they are so lucky they have some things where they can produce enough earnings. Specially when in this situation, we isolate ourselves or locked up to ensure safety so we can't go to work,schools or businesses to earn money so we must look a way, and gambling is one of it.

My personal experience in this quarantine is I am playing a gambling game. I'm not a quite player that are good to those games but I know how it works and when can I start and when do I stop so thay I may able to avoid a big loses. Gambling while in quaratine is one of the best way to kill time while earning. But also risky because all of the money I used is for our own use and safety. In just one wrong choice or decision, I may able to lose all of it and nothing will left in me. So I played gambling but I am not let myself get into it.
Indeed. This kind of attitute in order just to play because the reason is only bored is unacceptable. They must realize that mass gatherings and not paying attention to social distancing can lead them to a worst scenario. This kind of people doesn't think of the sacrifices of frontliners who dedicated their time in order to avoid the rapid increase of infected people from COVID-19.

We all know that quarantine brought by this pandemic is definitely boring but think of it, between gambling and choosing your life you must choose practical and life. I will not able to tolerate this kind of ideas. I will not dwell into this type of peoples that not dedicated to cooperate with the government. I played gambking on my own online and in that I can also play with my friends.

I also heard about that, the money they got from the government spent on betting or playing card games with their neighbor,

They don't think of the risk of the virus, instead of using the money they got in the right way, they use it in something that they shouldn't be.

But, few people are actually more addicted to gambling just because they got lots of time and they have nothing but to find new addictions online and gambling is the first one that comes to them. I have a few friends who are rich and what I mean by rich is that they can just sit idle and live their life without a scar so those guys are now days looking for online gambling and one has just become a prey to pron and other rubbish things and he is spending like 20 hours a day on these things. So, while some people have improved their habits and some have gotten worst with the situation being so damn poor.

My life hasn't been influenced much because I am a coder and I still do online micro tasks and earn enough to live my life .

Depends on 2 factors mainly during this time:

1- Sports Betting: Because of the complete shutdown of almost all sports there is frustration among gamblers because those simulated reality games are nothing but HIGH HOUSE EDGE casino in my opinion.

2- Money Problem: Since a large portion of the society has been influenced by the covid-19 pandemic there are people who are not able to spend as much as they would in normal days and hence struggling to gamble.

Overall I believe gambling has increased in general because people have nothing to do but to sit at home and pass their time and gambling is one good way to do so.

Sometimes I think about how people can found what they like in offline lives, and they also found in their online lives. And with gambling, people who are usually playing offline gambling, but in these situations, they can found online gambling so they can still play gambling. Maybe that is because they have a big curiosity to find what they always did in another place, and finally, they can see that thing in the other sources.

Yes, these tough times have come like a blessing for a lot of people who were actually trapped in a loopy life where they had a fixed routine, fixed entertainment timings and never had the chance to sit back and assess what wrong they might be doing and what must be stopped.

I am myself a gambler and while I have not stopped entirely I have actually limited myself to a certain limit where I try and cap a max loss just like we do in automated betting in dice. I have gained much more control over my betting because when there was no limits I used to earn good but a big part was quietly going into the pockets of casino owners.

Don't forget those folks who got their Social Amelioration Program (SAP) money then decided to gather their amigos and amigas to do some cockfighting. And in the end, they were caught and punished by their local governments. They really can't beat those betting-itch they have on their a**es and will take the risk of extracting COVID-19 rather than staying at home. 

That kind of game are very popular in the Philippines, and this kind of gamblers attitude we normally see in rural areas.
Yes, they maybe not aware of the risk they are taking, they are willing to go out play with other people just to kill their boredom, I think that is unacceptable, and I believe gambling is illegal in the Philippines under the Enhance Community Quarantine (ECQ) or even the GCQ.

But I agree with you, that their behaviour are very risky and dangerous. But it could be a possibility if they wear FFP3 mask.

I think what you do is quite dangerous.If someone has Covid but does not show any symptoms it can affect all the people playing in the house.No matter how bored you may be I would suggest you stop gathering in a small ambient like a home as it takes only 15 minutes staying in vicinity with the infected person and you are infected.
There are tons of online games to choose from to help you alleviate from your boredom.

Nothing much difference, actually I am always in my house doing my job and even my gambling life is always at home. But the only difference comes to me right now is I really need to limit my gambling activity because of this pandemic. A lot of hoarding and the price of every goods in the market suddenly increased and this is a major reason for me to limit gambling.

This is what they do in my neighborhood too. Instead of gambling online, they still prefer to gather in someones house then play Mahjong or cards(tong its, pusoy, in between). They chose being sneaky even its dangerous, because they're bored. I hope no one is a carrier. We play cards too but only with other family members because we wouldn't want to go out.
