Dude, you're quite the detective.))
According to your logic all who recently registered - all fakes.

I didn't mention anything about people who registered recently. Where did you get that idea?

The player used a proxy and did not follow the rules.
And the rules should be read carefully, sometimes in the details hides the truth.

I can see that you might not have all the details on this, so let me explain it in a more personal way: Imagine you're the player in this scenario. You've been playing by the rules, making deposits and withdrawals without any trouble. Then, you have a big win, and out of nowhere, the casino changes the rules, preventing you from cashing out your rightfully earned winnings and taking away your money. Now, does that sound fair or logical to you?

This forum is not very friendly. you write a comment, and you will be completely scolded.

I disagree. This forum is indeed very friendly, just not towards scammers like your boss and his minions.

I have the feeling that you care more about this situation than the author himself. Besides, all your posts are just a non-stop stream of hatred with no real basis. Be honest, do you get paid for this trash talk?)
This is more than just the "author", it is a cause for concern when a casino suddenly and suspiciously implements a new rule out of nowhere and conveniently prohibits a gambler from withdrawing his money. also, it is quite ironic to say "Do you get paid for this trash-talk" when your first post after registering on this forum is to shill for this gambling site, Be honest, are you a shill account for vave.com?

Yeah, It's quite the coincidence that his post popped up just as TwitchySeal shouted, "Time to call in the shills!"  Cheesy

For those who might not know, Mayyyy is one of the characters in that spammer/shill squad who tried that stupid stunt to boost Vave casino. They flooded this thread with a bunch of newbie accounts and faking all that engagement a couple of months ago.

I've been playing on Vave for 2 months now and I can say that the platform has implemented the interface, deposit and withdrawal procedures quite well. It is nice to see that companies are developing in the right direction and not just connecting a million poorly performing payment systems.

These rules unfortunately have nothing to do with this particular player, it just happens to be the case. Even if this player didn't exist, this rule would still be in place.
With all due respect, we ourselves are present on the Trustpilot, our 1-star reviews are being answered and all of the legitimate reviews are being worked with.

Oh, really! Are we supposed to blindly believe that these rules came out of nowhere and just happened to come into effect after a Russian player won and tried to withdraw a significant amount from your sportsbook? How convenient! Have you posted an update on these changed rules somewhere? You were active on the forum at that time; you posted promotional messages, for example, on August 21 and on August 23. In neither of them did you consider it important to mention the new changes in your ToS? And what about on Twitter? Discord? Telegram? Anywhere?

And quite coincidentally, you were so quick to implement policy changes that you forgot that your website supports 18 other languages, and the ToS should be properly translated into all of them? Even the Russian translation, which would be logical as the first source of information for Russian players, was changed only 5 days later! Are you serious?

Trying to bury legit complaints with spam is probably the worst way to handle the situation.  Been done by other casinos many many times before....result is always the same.

Furthermore, after conducting a brief investigation into the platform you are promoting, we discovered that it appears to be a suspicious platform according to Scamadviser: https://www.scamadviser.com/check-website/moneypot.com#google_vignette
Therefore, it seems you are encouraging people to use a suspicious platform while taking advantage of your high-ranking membership @BenCodie, which raises questions about your credibility.

Your TOS does not excuse you and your platform from misconduct Shanz. No, I do not want to learn more about your casino. That valid case is not the only one against Vave.

We don't have any unresolved cases. All issues are handled by our customer support.
We can see that the player might be upset. However, we can't treat this case differently since we treat all players' cases equally.

Now you don't. You did at the time of my post. The stance of the second part of the post was completely contradicted shortly following when you/Vave admitted fault:

you haven't answered my questions in any way. Date of introduction of the rule regarding Russian players. Why didn’t you return all my remaining deposits of $17,000, but only returned my last deposit of $3,000 out of these $17,000.

We have reached out to you, even after the rules violation, and returned the amount of your last deposit. Any funds exceeding that sum were voided. Also, we strongly recommend familiarizing yourself with the rules regularly to avoid any misunderstandings or situations like this.

So, admitting flaws in your policies while still not rectifying the situation in full. Weak, and a good representation of the extent a user has to go to in order to make right from the wrongs of Vave

Vave has admitted fault, the whole amount should be paid and policies should be adjusted.

Imagine if this user didn't speak up? I wonder how many other victims are in silence.

We have already provided a detailed response to the concerned person, explaining that participation is restricted for players from Russia: https://vave.com/information/terms-and-conditions
Unfortunately, it appears that the player did not read our casino policy.

It's a shady policy to begin with.  But even if it weren't, you can't implement a policy change that says you get to take money from any Russian player that makes a sports bet and then only change the English language terms and not the Russian language version.

An ethical way to roll out such a policy would be to proactively reach out to Russian players days or weeks in advance and then remind them as the date of change got closer.

Or, just don't offer players bets that they aren't allowed to make.

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!
actually for me the KYC problem is not a complicated problem, if you need to do it, if you don't need it, you don't need to do KYC, it's quite simple. but sometimes the gambler who prefers anonymity it will be very hard for him.
but KYC is one of the requirements that makes sense to me. If we look at some of the popular crypto casino sites today, almost all of them specify KYC requirements, that's one of compliance. and KYC is needed when withdrawing funds or withdrawing large amounts when a big win on the casino site is a natural thing
But if a casino says they are anonymity then they should also respect the privacy of gamblers but at the end they would still the gamblers to submit documents and the worse part of it is that after providing all the necessary documents yet, some casinos would still suspend your account for no good reason. KYC is not a hard someone but casinos are the ones making it hard for their customers by extending the withdrawal days, blocking account and others and if all these things are not found in any of the casinos which does KYC before withdraw then there would be no problem at all.

Normally KYC is good because it makes the casino to k ow the real owner of the account but what they do on the customers accounts is wah I don't like. To make it clear, if a casino will need KYC for their withdrawal then they have to ask the gambler at the registration point and not the withdrawal time.

Man, come on, do you seriously think Trustpilot is such a respected site?
there is a whole bunch of negative reviews here https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.rollbit.com?stars=1.

No, I don't consider Trustpilot a highly reputable review site, but I find it quite relevant that a relatively new gambling site, which isn't particularly popular in the community, has received a total of 14 Trustpilot reviews, and 12 of them are negative (one star). Do the math!

But anyway! Do you personally think casino.guru is a respected site?

Seriously, how can you say that when we have an unsolved case right here in front of our eyes? You changed the rules after the player had deposited the funds and gambled and you only confiscated his funds after he won the bet. This is clearly abuse on your part.

So you've already had similar cases like this? That should tell you that you are doing something fundamentally wrong. No wonder you have 86% bad reviews on trustpilot.

even the fraudulent 1xbet returns all deposits if some kind of account blocking or betting cancellation occurs. And you are still not going to return my deposits. Do you really care about your reputation?

As we have mentioned, we have returned the last deposit, which was already made during the time the rule was applied. We can provide you with the analogy, for example, you have rented out a car, and everything was good, later on you have tried booking the same car, but were banned from that company. Only your last deposit will be returned and you are not being refunded for the previous drives as well.

In the spirit of transparency that you claim to uphold within the community, I suggest you shed some more light on this case. Changing your terms of use after a player has deposited funds and gambled is a concerning practice and the circumstances surrounding this case demand a clear and thorough response. Please provide clarification on this matter.

To start, could you please provide a detailed timeline of events related to this particular case? This would help us better understand the sequence of actions and decisions made.

Furthermore, when exactly did you include the provision restricting Russian residents in your Terms of Service? And why does this provision appear only in the English version of the Terms of Use, rather than being consistent across all languages? Could you clarify this discrepancy?

Moreover, did you make an effort to inform all your players about these revised conditions when they were implemented? If so, how did you communicate these alterations to your user base?

One particularly concerning aspect is whether you continued to accept bets from players, including Russian residents, after introducing the new terms. If so, why did you not enforce the updated conditions consistently for all players?

Lastly, why was the decision made to cancel only the winning bets for the player, rather than all of them, and return their entire deposit? This raises questions about the fairness and consistency of your actions. Could you explain the reasoning behind this selective action?

Hello @FatFork! We'd like to clarify the situation.

Of course, those rules are not anyhow related to this particular player at all, unfortunately, that is just a matter of events that happened.

The timeline would be something like that: The player registered, deposited, and played when it was not forbidden and everything was in accordance with the rules of our site. Later, those rules were implemented and led to the current situation.

It was introduced on 21.08. Updates and new rules are appearing not only in the English version but instead being introduced firstly into the English version of the rules, as that is our main language. Later, the rules are being translated and added to the other language versions. That is one of the reasons that we explicitly state that the English version of the rules is the most authoritative one.

We are believing that users should be aware of the rules by their own means, however, we have taken that into account and such practice will be reviewed.

Due to the nature of our site, we can not tell that someone is 100% from restricted geo, as players may use VPN, Proxies, or things like that. Yet, once we are aware that the player is from the restricted geo, necessary means are being taken.

The issue is not within that those bets were winning ones or not, but when the rule was added to our site. As in this case, the last deposit was returned to the player.
