For me, the Internet is an investment and an income. Since I am developing a business on the Internet. Before, the Internet for me was only as entertainment and I read different information there and bought things. Now the Internet is my life. I spend a lot of time there. I found information from Usechalkboard's online tools. And it helps me develop my business properly with budgeting and comfortable things.
I'm pleased with my Verizon Wireless plan. It costs me $25/month for 50Mbps speed and Wi-Fi 6-enabled LTE router included in the plan. Moreover, they offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee for those who are thinking about switching.
If you think that of internet scams with someone's monthly salary, then nothing is stupid because people that work on the web sometimes believe internet spending. But generally speaking an honest quality line can cost $30-40 per month. However the web isn't much of a course.

I live in a country where internet subscription cost is on the high side, and also prepaid, internet providers here are ripping people off and its so sad, my total cost of internet for a year is enough to be a fortune for some people

I agree with you, and the Internet today is something essential, like water, which is irreplaceable. Even if our gains from crypto are small, but as time progresses, those profits may become good to pay all our internet bills. The cost of the Internet to me in the year may be less than $200, but if the profits I earn paid 50% of this cost, this is a good thing that helps me earn money beside my daily work, better than not getting nothing.

Fortunately I try to spend most of my time on productive/useful things. I don't use social media too much except for viewing things that actually help others & me. I have since reduced, deleted or stopped visiewing things that aren't really useful for most of the people visiting them.
I prefer using applications or visiting sites that consume less data whether I can afford using/visiting them or not. I use lite trading apps for most of my trading on exchanges. I sometimes visit the exchanges websites on my laptop when I need to do some data consuming tasks.

Here in Poland, we have a huge competition between mobile companies, so the prices are really low. You can get 20GB of data [LTE] + unlimited calls + unlimited texts for ~$6

WoW great service, i feel LTE accelerates to 150Mbps OP already posted image that each one of the most cost effective price mobile internet service in India, But it's true that each one companies are performing on the way to provide more services at a lower cost.

It seems to me that the price for using the Internet in most cases is fair. Yes, many people use the Internet only for entertainment, meaningless communication, videos on youtube, etc. But many of us use the Internet for need. There are a huge amount of information on the Internet. Most of this information is garbage. But 1% of this information is useful. And there are many people who study useful information, develop, get some skills, then to use it all in real life.

Internet is necessary nowadays whether or not you are into cryptocurrency trading. We need it. We need data on our phone even if we are not aware of cryptocurrency. I think the cost is less than the overall benefit. I need the internet all day long because I need to constantly monitor crypto related news. I also need to monitor the prices. Not to mention the mails, social media, current events, etc.
The internet cost is getting cheaper as there are already new providers coming around offering a much competitive price. But even if the cost is not covered up entirely by the income, it does not mean that it is not worth spending for it.
