The next 2 games will be on Dallas, let's see if the Mavericks can bounce back as this time, it will be on their advantage.

We are going to find out tomorrow, Mavericks have to win the game, or else they'll be out already in the playoffs with a 3-0 score. Why? because no team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit, that's in the history of the NBA. The reason why Mavericks are -2 tomorrow is because they need to win the game.

Things are getting exciting for the celtics fans now, after they beat the Heat in game 2 in a blowout win, Celtics are now rank next to the Warriors on the favorites ranking to win the NBA finals.

Who among you here think that Celtics vs Warriors is going to be the match up this season?

Things will get hotter in the days to come because the Boston Celtics will not play on their homecourt in the next 2 successive games and that is surely an advantage that they don't want to miss. Sorry for Miami Heat fans but I have to say that the Heat don't really have some hype and people are more excited on seeing the Celtics on the Finals.

There's a big chance that the Celtics and Warriors will match-up for the Finals. However, I would like to see some new faces and I mean Mavericks vs Celtics.

Well, that would happen if Mavericks will bounce back after a very disappointing game 1 loss. I don't think they'll make another surprise going to the NBA Finals, they already did with the Suns, I highly doubt they'll do it with the Warriors.

That will remain as a big question for now until the moment we know which one of them is moving the Finals. As of now, the series odds are on the Warriors side after they won 2 consecutive games at their homecourt. The next 2 games will be on Dallas, let's see if the Mavericks can bounce back as this time, it will be on their advantage.

I wonder how fast is the ranking move these days with just 1 game win. I'm still having the feeling that they might head to head this season even though the Mavs was at 2-0 deficit from the Warriors, they've had the similar scenario with the Suns but they upset them with a game 7 win. We may never know but if the Warriors are the WCF champs then I'd bet it will be the Heat to battle them.
If you believe that the Mavs will beat the Warriors, then maybe this is the best time to put your bet on them.

As per the sportsbook I'm using, the line are as follows.

Mavs to win the series @6.50
Mavs to win the series by 4-2 @15

That's a very attractive odds, but for me, I'll stay away because I don't think they can beat the Warriors.
Yes it's a bold decision but it's likely a guess and not more on the bets as it is risky to do it this time. Maybe when they tied the series at their homecourt, it's more fine to bet in it during that moment. For now, I just set aside that stuff.

Marcus Smart and Al Horford didn't play though. So they are not complete when they face the Heat but they took a good lead up to the second quarter. And if they could have sustain that run, it's going to be a close match and who knows, maybe they can steal one game.

Unfortunately, Butler plays like he wanted to proved something against Tatum and the Celtics and he is unguardable.
Yes brother, well Marcus Smart is injured, maybe there is no choice. For this year's NBA I think Al Horford not playing will also make him very pensive. But support doesn't have to force circumstances, space and time. moment.when forced to be outnumbered and tough, I feel respectfully the Celtics are quite authoritative and I believe in their performance.
in the series maybe they will turn around or will bet to walk in place, burning again what to improve the celtics let's see

I hope both will play in game 2, it's a very important game, they need to steal one game on the road. However, if they will lose the game, I still think they are not out in the series yet as they will certainly bounce back hard once the series is shift to Boston.

We have to wait for the update, if both will not be available again, then most likely Heat will win again.

update for the players.

Al Horford not officially ruled out for Game 2 vs. Heat: ‘It’s not a definite that he’s out for 2 games’

For Marcus smart, there's no update yet but he is also not ruled out yet in game 2.
let's just be optimistic, when these two will play, the game will be more exciting to watch, as they provide energy on the floor.

Marcus Smart is definitely missed on defense.  He's working himself into being one of the best defenders in the league and I think from Jimmy Butlers 40 piece yesterday, the breakdown in defense showed.  Al Horford is also a big part of their offense, so having them both out was a death sentence.  I hope they can get back in for game 2, or at least soon, or this will be yet another playoff series determined by injuries.
Smart played and contributed big points, and not only that, he was also very effective with his defense, reason why Celtics dominated the Heat in game 2. Now it's game 3, let's see what adjustment the Miami Heat will do, hopefully, they'll give a good game, not a blowout loss like game 2.

That being said, I don't think either team in the East can beat a healthy Warriors, so they'd both better be wishing Luka a good game tonight.  I think the Warriors are the clear favorite to win it now.

Mavs were playing well in game 2, however, it's just unfortunate that they could not keep their lead, they could have tied the series if they didn't allow the Warriors to come back in the game.

No team can surprise the Warriors, LOL.

I mean, if the Mavericks are hungry, the Warriors are hungrier as they have been out in the NBA finals for a couple of seasons when Klay Thompson was injured. Now, that he is back and were already making a big contribution to the team, the Warriors will make sure that they are going back in the NBA Finals again, in fact, I would not be surprise if they'll sweep the Mavericks.

Of course, Celtics winning one on the road is a big thing.
The series is now tied, it's 1-1 but it's far from over as we know Miami Heat is also a good team.
Actually I believe that Celtics will win the series but I don't underestimate the Heat since they are the number 1 team in the East.

The Warriors are now the favorite to win the NBA championship this season, followed by the Miami Heat at a distant second.

If I'm not mistaken, the Suns has been the favorite but obviously they are now eliminated by the Nuggets who unfortunately is the long shot now.

So by the odds:
1. GSW
2. Heat
3. Boston
4. Dallas

Yes, you are right, it was the Suns who were the favorites to win the NBA championship before the playoffs started, but in a big surprised, Dallas beat them and now it looks like the Warriors could beat Dallas. Tomorrow, we will also know the odds movement, if Boston wins, then most likely Boston will be setting in the 2nd spot.

Nothing to argue since Suns is the top seed from the west but Dallas already beats them and now they will also try to work it out in competing with the Warriors, tough job but we never know if what adjustment they will going to do to chase for this season's title
maybe coach Kidd is just reading the system of Warriors, then comes up with good plans and execute.

All 4 finalist shares the same opportunities in winning the world title, they just all need to work hard..

It's not "now" I guess. I think they surpassed the Phoenix Suns' odds back when they finished the series early against the Grizzlies. A slight adjustment.

That is expected though that the Golden State Warriors will be the Favorites in the Final 4 teams right now in the Conference Finals.

The order of odds from Favorites to bottom you listed is correct as of now.

because Goldenstate Warriors ain't an easy team to bring down especially when they're playing at home.

The same goes for the Phoenix Suns arena where it's one of having the loudest audiences in the league. Phoenix Suns' winning rate in their home arena is over 90% but the Mavericks are able to still play well against their large crowd.

I'm sure Mavericks are already used to playing against the big crowd and they can expect it once they played at the Warriors' homecourt as we know how big the audiences are here and almost a big distraction already to the away team.

If it's just a regular season then I would admit that the Phoenix Suns would be too hard to beat on their own court that's why they had that recent achievement on their franchise, but speaking of playoffs, it's a bit different and that 90% surely doesn't happen often. About the Golden State Warriors that same home rate to win would is much likely especially in playoffs.

Now that the last year's rival in the NBA finals has gone, I preferred new teams this time and I think the Mavs have all the chances to defeat GSW if they managed to pull out the same gameplay when they beat the number 1 team in the western conference but this is the conference final and not the same as the games they have won in the fast and I think this is the first time Luka managed to push his team up to this point, I really wanted him to win the championship since he might not get any chance to step back in this point in the future.

As much as I want to see the Mavs winning the championship again since Dirk, but on the contrary I'd really love to see the Boston Celtics succeed this time. I mean they have been working so hard since LeBron was still in Cleveland but they can't get passed on the ECF. Now, that they're facing Miami another tough opponent, I know they can make it.
Whichever team goes out to the Finals from the West, I'm pretty sure Boston can match them.

Yes I understand your opinion but for me, I also want some fresh face and teams in the finals this season that's why I'm rooting for both the Dallas Mavericks and the Boston Celtics as these two teams are much deserving to be the champion this season because these teams have been impressive throughout the season.

But on the contrary, they should prove that they are really worthy to be called as a champion as both of these teams are against heavy teams which is Miami Heat and GSW.
