Before the start of the playoffs I was really rooting for Philadelphia 76ers to finally grab that Larry O'Brien trophy. Embiid and Harden accompanied with solid young players and some veterans. Many of their guys are armed with deep playoffs experiences. I think Miami, Phoenix and the young Grizzlies cannot beat the 76ers. Probably only Boston and Milwaukee can match them. I was supposed to bet on Philly and Bucks but I am regularly betting my balances so I cannot stuck them for too long.

Yeah, I believe Philadelpia has chance to win ECF since Boston and Milwaukee will be having a close match on the next round while they only face Miami which is beatable by them considering how strong they are right now. The west already weakens the power house team Suns due to absence of Booker. I believe GSW will reign WCF this time around and possibly get the championship.

I'm a GSW fan the moment SC comes back again.  Grin

I confess... this first round of the playoffs is surprising me, because the teams that I thought could be champions had a terrible performance!

Is it too early to bet that the Celtics, Warriors, maybe Miami Heat can be the champions of this season in the NBA!!?

It was really surprising because the teams that we have thought that could be more competitive turns out to be dominated by the ones who aren't showing their strengths in the regular season. As an example, it's the Nets who is one of the favorites to win the season against the Celtics who clinched just few weeks before the regular season ends and now that they are facing each other, no one have saw it coming that this would be the situation of the Nets.

I agree about the Celtics and Warriors to win this season but for Miami Heat? I'll for that team for now.

The majority had thought to see them on the final.
Keeping both team members healthy and with no injuries will certainly lead both of them to the final. I can just imagine how the last season's finals ended very crucial as both of the top players were unable to play because of injuries. If this may happen this season again, this gives a higher chance for GSW to win. More 3's shoots coming from GSW rookies is their advantage...

Warriors is still my bet...

Before that, we might gonna see a blockbuster series in the Eastern Conference Finals with the Boston Celtics vs the Miami Heat which will gonna be the best Playoff series we will ever have. That if they gonna easily beat their opponent in the next round which is not an easy game for both of them and each of them is one win away from the second round of the playoff.

Its good to see Warriors and Celtics play in the NBA Finals as well Cheesy. Warriors one of the best team offensively and Celtics one of the best teams defensively.

This will be a challenge to the Brooklyn Nets if they can recover this huge deficit, as far as history tells, there's no team that have recovered from that huge deficit.
All of the analysts already saying that this series is over already when the Celtics are up 3-0 because history has already shown that no team has ever won  coming from a 0-3 deficit. Well, the numbers don't lie but there is still a chance for the Nets to win but the chances are very low to close to zero.

Its very early to predict TBH and I will just predict the winners from both conferences. In the Western Conference, I will pick the Warriors because they are just unstoppable right now with what Stephen A. calls the "Lethal Weapon 3". Their small ball line-up is even more deadly than what it is years ago because of their unlimited range. I'll go with the Warriors because I'm a fan of them every since their dynasty started years ago.

On the East, I will pick the Celtics. They are just good defensively to the point that they can shut down Durant and Irving, the 2 of the best scorers in the NBA right now. If the Celtics can pass the Bucks, they will be the champions in the East.

Its good to see Warriors and Celtics play in the NBA Finals as well Cheesy. Warriors one of the best team offensively and Celtics one of the best teams defensively.

I confess... this first round of the playoffs is surprising me, because the teams that I thought could be champions had a terrible performance!
some of them have a very terrible game, particularly the Nets who are still winless in the 1st round.
I don't know if they can still come back but if you guys believe the nets will make a miracle, it's your chance to take advantage of the sweet odds.

Is it too early to bet that the Celtics, Warriors, maybe Miami Heat can be the champions of this season in the NBA!!?

Who knows, Heat has a decent chance as well as they are playing great basketball in the series. however, I think the Warriors will have the easiest way going to the NBA Finals.

Updated odds.

Suns and Bucks who bought wins the conference finals last season do have decent odds, especially the defending champ, but both east and west got tougher competition now, Boston and Bulls are also doing great while Warriors and Mavs are also competing both also have that chance, but moving to next round it would be more interesting and for sure odds will be change up.

Warriors are very tempting, having that kind of odd while we are in this early first round, for the fans x3 is something that decently paid your bet.

I have a feeling there's no more game 5.

Denver Nuggets steals 1 game of their series a while ago with a 126-121 win over the Golden State Warriors.

Although yes, nothing will change the fact that they are really struggling to win against the Warriors.

After all the games tonight, I wonder what will be the odds on all teams. Still, I won't change my stand for the Dallas Mavericks to win the Finals. Sounds unlikely to others but I am able to totally gain a decent odds now for them since they lose on Game 1.

Probably will change, however, I still believe that the Warriors will remain as the favorite to win the NBA championship as it's very obvious they are winning the first round. It was suppose to be a swept but the Nuggets played well of course refs are favoring them a bit. lol..

This will be a challenge to the Brooklyn Nets if they can recover this huge deficit, as far as history tells, there's no team that have recovered from that huge deficit.

That's the end of the journey for the Brooklyn Nets. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are both unstoppable once they find their respective rhythm. They really improved their shooting that even if it's properly defended, they are making it. Boston Celtics now know how to slow down Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Tatum is the one guarding Kyrie and if ever this guy is able to pass Tatum's defense, there's Marcus Smart protecting the shaded area.

The Nets gambling to get superstars Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant didn't paid well. That's might not be the key for the franchise to get the championship.

I still think the New Jersey Nets are the most like I to win the championship though the Celtics knocking them off in game one does give me a little bit of pause. If the Nets aren’t going to win it I think I’m placing my money on the Golden State Warriors. I just feel like when it comes down to it they’ve got too much fire power. The best thing though is that this is all debatable being that there is no clear cut best team like so frequently there was in years past.
No problem if the Warriors do not gain the championship favorite, i'm still convinced that my bet will only go to Warriors. After all, its always fun and thrilled betting from an underdog. However, whoever our team's preference, i guess all the teams deserve the cheers because they have been working so hard from the very beginning. After all, let the final game determines the best among the rest, but as for now let's just enjoy the twists and turns happening in every game.
It's still too early in the playoffs, we are still in the first round but thus far the Warriors are showing the most consistent game and their line up is healthy now. If they will win tonight, they could rest early and that would help the players that has a minor injury to recover a bit. They were down double digit against the Nuggets in game 4, but now it's only a single digit game although the Nuggets are still leading, I have a feeling there's no more game 5.

Yes, I agree. Jayson Tatum have totally matured recently because he quite know and have the right mindset what needs to be done even if he is more of an offensive player than being a defensive one. Guarding Kevin Durant is indeed a tough job to pull but he managed to do it and make him struggle so that he cannot contribute well for the Nets.

Tomorrow is their 3rd game at the Net's homecourt, we will see how things would go in the game.

Like what I've said, Nets needs to adjust and be more aggressive if they take this game from Boston the confidence will shine and they will be eager to continue winning the game, A spark from the whole team and not just relying with Durant and Kyrie. Though the productions of these two stars is very important.

Another tough game between these two rival teams, both have good qualification to move forward but only one will take
the spot.

I didn't really thought that Marcus Smart could be this good to slow down the production of Uncle Drew (Irving) because he only got to contribute 16 points even if he was playing for like more than 40 minutes and all he could do is to pass the ball because he is heavily guarded as well as Durant by Jayson Tatum. Their defense is also poor so even if they got aggressive, they are still vulnerable when it's their time to defend.

I wouldn't say that Boston Celtics was just lucky on that 1st game because they are really competent against the Nets, and they also have improved throughout the season and I'm just amazed that they managed to make the Nets struggle and they're surely a threat on Brooklyn. Well, they better prepare for the 2nd game because the Nets will be coming to take their revenge.

I see your point and I agree, Boston improved a lot. They did not give it up. Even Brooklyn made that huge rally was and able to take the lead in the

last dying seconds of the game, but in that particular last play, we have seen maturity with the Celtics. They did not force the shot instead, they

wait and find that slight opening and then the rest was history. It might be another interesting game to come up with, like what you have said, Nets

will take their revenge and will try everything to tie the series.

As of today, the standing is 3-0 in favor of the Celtics. I wasn't prepared to see that it would go like this and I admit that the Celtics is really dominating the Nets every round and not allowing the duo to have their time to shine. Credits to Marcus Smart and Jayson Tatum for guarding Irving and KD respectively, the Brooklyn's duo didn't get 20 points above despite getting the most time in the court but Tatum on the other side managed to pour 39 points.

This will be a challenge to the Brooklyn Nets if they can recover this huge deficit, as far as history tells, there's no team that have recovered from that huge deficit.

But the Nuggets recently are being so good as well so this might change. I just hope that the GSW wouldn't choke at their tomorrow's game.

Even Golden State Warriors will lose or as you said "choked" the next game, it's difficult to imagine that Denver Nuggets will defeat them by 4-consecutive games to win their series. I don't see any chances that it will happen for real since bouncing back from a 3-0 deficit is really hard and Denver Nuggets have to win 4 games straight from now on.

We already show what they got during the last game and that's it. In fairness, they get the game close compared to their performance in Games 1 and 2. If the Nuggets managed to survived the next game, the Warriors will surely end their chapter to their home arena.

I am also Eyeing for Warriors now , because they completely showing the Champion Heart now, not like in the past conference in which they are being behind  , Now the looks of taking back the Trophy Back to Golden state is knocking on our door.
I have different choice recently but now? maybe you are right that its better to risk in more possible winner than those who are in the edge of losing the chance .

I agree with this. With their bad performance last season, they successfully and still trying to stood up maintaining their current good performance. They were bombarded with bandwagons in the past. But now I see legit support for the GSW and I admit I'm looking forward to their win as well. But the Nuggets recently are being so good as well so this might change. That odds will certainly change once the Warriors beat the Nuggets in game 4. Let's check back the NBA winner odds later after all the games are finished.
right now, I think they are still making an adjustment and the once all games are concluded, we will eventually see the live betting odds.

The new sets of odds after Game 3 games are released. Slight odds movement for the Golden State Warriors to win the Finals.

From @4 the lines move to @3.9. Possibly going down to @3.5 if they will enter the second round of the playoffs. GSW fans can now place their bet before the odds might be lowered again if the team will continue to win.

Maybe it will go back to @4 if the Warriors will struggle to win in the second-round playoffs against the winner between Grizzlies vs Timberwolves. It's fine to wait for that but it's just a slight increase and not worth a wait.
