I just want to point out that in the beginning of the season, for couple of months, there was the Chicago Bulls wind across the league. They were maybe the top contestant for the title at that time for most of the people. But also, some people knew that league was a long marathon and things could change. Which exactly happened. I was expecting a more fierce fight from Bulls, but Bucks just were better and got the series 4-1. Even though I personally don't like Bucks very much, I must admit that they are still a very big contestant for the title. Giannis got his nickname for a reason. I am really wondering if any of the teams from east or west that could beat Bucks, but it will not be easy.

Its good to see Warriors and Celtics play in the NBA Finals as well Cheesy. Warriors one of the best team offensively and Celtics one of the best teams defensively.
The majority had thought to see them on the final.
Keeping both team members healthy and with no injuries will certainly lead both of them to the final. I can just imagine how the last season's finals ended very crucial as both of the top players were unable to play because of injuries. If this may happen this season again, this gives a higher chance for GSW to win. More 3's shoots coming from GSW rookies is their advantage...

Warriors is still my bet...
I guess every final season brings a lot of twists and surprises that will make the game more exciting. Warriors did not made outstanding performance in the regular season but then changes made when the final season enters. Those teams who became the favorites at the beginning are now outperformed and those seen being underdogs before have already dominated the latest games. The reason why most of the favorite never wins all the time. At the end of the day, Warriors may end up being the champion as long as no team injuries will happen during the finals.

I was thinking Warriors too but after seeing how dialed in Giannis is today, I think the Bucks are the team to beat. I believe they’ll have Middleton back for the Finals also? If so, I think it will be hard even for the Warriors with a healthy roster to take them down. Giannis is just a different animal right now. Draymond Green might get the chance to prove he’s as great of a defender as he says he is…

For let's say the Milwaukee Bucks will reach the Finals, I honestly think too that no one from the Warriors can stop him. However, the task for the Bucks is how to well defend those Warriors' gunners, especially their lethal 3-pointers. Since the Warriors are unable to defend Giannis, they will focus instead on their offense.

About Khris Middleton, he's ruled out on this 2nd round of the playoffs until the conference finals. That also depends on how long the series will end.

If the Milwaukee Bucks will end up on Game 6 or 7 at both 2nd round and Conference Finals, that would extend Middleton's recovery to be able to play at the Finals. Well, that's only "what if".

Even though it's too early to discuss that possible final match up between Warriors and the Bucks. If ever things happened I also agree that Warriors will focus more on their system, offense will be their defense. Giannis is far from dominating and really tough to defend.
he loves the challenge to whoever will guard him and he will try to beat him up.

East side still has Sixers and Heat, teams that are also hungry to win a title. They'll first try to stop Giannis before Bucks will move
to the finals in case they represent the East side completely.

The fate of the Milwaukee Bucks will remain a mystery for most of us because we quite knew that the most chances to win the championship this year is the most healthy team in the league right now, yes the Bucks are quite tenacious in the court but with only Giannis as their stronghold especially without the Middleton who also plays a big role in the team, they are still in a dangerous spot.

Yes, this is true!

Complementing my answer...
The Bucks are a competitive and strong team, but unfortunately they only have Antetokounmpo who can be a decisive player, another option is Middleton.

In my opinion, the playoffs are different from the regular season, because an important factor is the experience of the team and your main players, anything can happen in the playoffs.
I believe the Warriors are a more mature team comparing with Bucks, they participated in several NBA Finals and were also champions several times, unlike the Bucks.
I'm not implying that the Bucks are a bad team, but I'd like to share that they're a less mature team than the Warriors.

If we have a possible Warriors vs Bucks finals, we will know how mature and strong Milwaukee is and if Giannis can be an extremely decisive player for your team!!

It would be even in the betting odds if Middleton did play, or maybe the Celtics are a slight favorite since they have the home court advantage. However, we know that Bucks could beat a team on the road, same as the Celtics, so it's not a big deal IMO.

Giannis is just a beast in the Playoffs and he can execute such play if it really needed, guess what? I lose my prediction thinking that it will gonna easy for the Boston Celtics to beat them but the result was the contrary and Giannis did a good job to show how strong he is in the paint even though they are up against the best defensive team this season. Looks like a back-to-back championship is possible this time.

For me its either Boston or Suns but I would love to see Mavs winning it with a Luka going beyond limits and win everything but that scenario most likely won't happen.

GSW are still the favorites to win it all but this Boston team is so stack together that I simply cannot see them losing even if they face GSW.
I confess that I also imagined the Warriors as one of the favorites to be champion! But I would like to see the Suns to beat the GSW in the conference finals and become NBA champions for the first time, led by CP3.
I don't know if this can happen, but the Suns need to play really well to make it happen!!

Talking about the Celtics, I was surprised with today's game, because they were defeated, with a good performance of Holiday and Giannis

That's a challenge not having Middleton, and if Middleton did play, we would not be able to see the Bucks as the underdog, or a heavy dog. Right now, they are 2.50 to win the series against Celtics and 9.00 to win the NBA Finals.

With Middleton to complete the core key players of the Bucks, they will have a much decent odd though Celtics will get the slight favorite in game 1 since they will be playing at home. Would love to see these two squad playing hard to win the series and advance their chance in the finals, very interesting to see how Tatum and Giannis will handle the pressure leading their respective teams.

And the other thing will be the head coach approach to how to create a working system that will counter their opponent's attacks and
defenses.

If I would act now, I would rather take the Bucks because IMO they are undervalued. They don't have Middleton but look how they dominated the Bulls, so I think they deserve to have at least 5.00 odds, but who am I to complain, I'll just probably take it.  Smiley

Referring to how Milwaukee Bucks dominated the Chicago Bulls is not enough. The topic is about NBA Champion and the first round of the playoffs for the Bucks just got ended. There are still 2 teams to defeat before entering the Finals. The next round for them is a tough challenge as they will face the Boston Celtics which just came from sweeping another favorite, the Brooklyn Nets.

But regardless of what team they will face, if you really believed that Milwaukee Bucks will win the title this year, just place your bet without hesitation.

If you act now, it's not 5.00 odds but more of it based on the currently provided odds.

Not having Middleton is a pretty big piece of the puzzle.  I wouldn't feel comfortable betting on them to win it all until the 76ers are out of their way and the Warriors show a dip in play.  That is with Middleton being healthy.  Right now, I think the Warriors have the edge to win it all, but there are still a lot of games left.  The last several years in the NBA it feels like the title has been decided by which team can stay healthy.  With the Bucks already facing this test, history may not be on their side.  Giannis is the most unstoppable player left in the playoffs though, so if anyone can carry their team to a Finals win, it's him.

We will see because we are going into the second round. Suns vs Mavs will be a great series and it will be hard to predict if the Suns are going to dominate it. Luka is unstoppable and he has good help right now. Brunson is playing like an all-star and Spencer is having like a second wind in his career when he move to the Mavs. It might be an easy series for Boston as the Sixers doesn't have Embiid because of his eye injury.

Definitely we cannot count Luka out because the Mavericks now is not only dependent on Luka, they have a lot of gunners that are willing to shoot the ball coming from the assist of Luka if he gets doubled.

They have Brunson and Dinwiddie, they are the key factors to the Success of the Mavs.

No doubt about the Warriors, they have been playing together for many seasons, so when it comes to consistency, I like the Warriors.

Yes, but what I mean is exactly that. There were almost no sweeps in these first keys and I don't see any team so oiled, logically Golden State and Milwaukee seem strong but these first keys taught us that anyone can fight anyone.

Let's see how hard it is to beat Boston.

It's going to be one of the first years in which neither team is really a favorite. Of the 8 that remain, 8 really have a chance. I don't put any one step ahead, I think the champion will depend more on what style you play the least bother you play against.

(I know that the 8th team remains to be defined, but whether it is Memphis or Minnesota, it does not change what I think)
I hate to disagree but there's also lot of team now who is also favorite to win this season that have survived the first round of eliminations like the Milwaukee Bucks, Phoenix Suns and especially the Golden State Warriors who have the most edge and the healthiest team in the league right now. It's quite premature to tell which of these favorite teams will survive in the Semis and will go to the Finals.

The Memphis Grizzlies have already closed the series today and defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Memphis Grizzlies cannot even dominate the Timberwolves so they are not my champion this season. I think the champion will be coming from the West, if the Warriors will fall, it should be the Bucks who will win even without Middleton. I just like their defense, they are a strong team who are the defending champion and yet still underrated.

We aren't in the Semi-Final now so we shouldn't have to worry about that much and they are still in the 2nd round of eliminations against the Boston Celtics who swept the Brooklyn Nets on the 1st round leaving the favorite duo resting for the rest of the season and without Middleton is surely a challenge that they have to bear but they can still manage knowing that Giannis is still healthy.
