Now every addict here has alzheimer or a terminal disease rofl
Keep going i just bought new popcorn
Btw. Ever though about the fact that cannabis is the cause for your memory loss?
Well have a good time watching. Take it easy on the sodium...
And wear a gas mask, you might inhale the air in here. It's bad for your health, sir.
Its funny what excuses the drug zombies of bitcointalk bring to the table
Especially when they start with "i no drugs but some drugs are fine". LOL
I have no plans of taking them but I acknowledge that the standard way of fighting drugu use is not effective. Ideally people should never be able to use them so they won't get hooked but everyone knows the black market thrive simply because it's illegal. This means it'll be more expensive and the manufacturers/growers earn more.
I guess the statistics would be different per country. Most of the crimes here in my country are committed by addicts while high on meth. Heck, I even knew someone who died while foolishly trying to steal while high. It seems to me that those high on meth have their decision-making impaired while retaining coordination. Someone really hammered on alcohol would have a hard time going around stealing stuff because they'll be too clumsy.
Methamphetamine is a hard synthetic drug, which is much more dangerous than soft natural drugs such as Marijuana. One of the reasons why people use Meth is due to the unavailability of the soft drugs.
My opinion is that all drugs are evil. You offer a choice between quick death and slow. What's the difference, you will still die. Why? Even better would be all drugs .
The problem is we really don't have a good way of solving the problem, not just with drugs but other addictions. Don't like drunks roaming the street? Ban alcohol! And then what happened during Prohibition? War on Drugs? How long is that going on and how effective was it?
Simply just attacking the supply side of the problem don't seem to do anything...
It's the war on drugs that caused the bad drugs like meth to be invented.
People want freedom. If you stop them from being free in the simple ways - like growing their own marijuana - they will find other ways to do the same thing. Meth and multitudes of other extremely dangerous recreational drugs are a direct offshoot of making pot and simple coke illegal.
IMHO, any attempt at legalization should go hand-in-hand with an improved mental health program. Some people get into drugs and alchohol due to peer pressure. Hopefully if kids are educated about this, they'll be less likely to try it. You don't always have to fit it, especially if doing so will have a high price.
Some people also start using them due to thrill-seeking or coping to problems. I think the latter would be manageable if there is greater access to counseling and if improving mental resilience is taught to people.
I also read that some people are genetically prone to addictions. If the results of the genetics test would only be shown to the person tested, then maybe he/she can adjust for it, if ever it was shown he/she is vulnerable?
The movie "Wild in the Streets."
Druggies should get into Government, take over, and make it a legal requirement that everyone use drugs.
Of course, that's what the medical is using the FDA for.
