The TPS does sound impressive. But still Zcash is not able to surpass BTC, simply because it is BTC and is the best coin in the market. People place a slightly higher trust in BTC as opposed to other altcoins. And yes, it is undervalued

Zcash stuck on awkward position.
While their zk-SNARKS and upcoming zk-STARKS are interesting technology, their decision to make such features optional makes Zcash only partially private and not fungible unlike it's competitor (Monero).
Bitcoin also have better scalability (could achieve higher TPS while maintain decentralization) unlike Zcash shielded transaction which require long creation/verification time.
Besides AFAIK most wallet/exchange don't support shielded transaction/address which makes Zcash main features seems useless. So, IMO Zcash isn't undervalued unless they use zk-STARKS and make it mandatory.

Zcash does look like a coin which is underrated a lot. The marketing team needs to come up with a way to make a buzz in the market because the TPS is quite impressive.
Zcash is a coin which is which is still underrated based on this their marketing team working too hard based on this coin but they should increase their thought and they should think about good initiative which is attractive for customers.
Zcash technology, for some reason, the last achievements of the developers were practically not noticed: the decline in transaction costs, the integration of zSnark in ethereum and Quorum, the corporate blocking platform of JPMorgan Chase and many others. If you do not take into account short-term surges on the news, these events will accurately add value to the coin in the future
Zcash will reach a new level with the addition of this privacy tool in their blockchain transaction. Zcash has already gained a reputation for its fast transaction. Now this privacy enhancement will take it way above than many. Best of luck for Zcash.
