Zcash was all about hype and now it's falling real bad. I urge everyone not to get into this coin as we can see more of price correcting to 10 or below 10 USD. Waiting for it to settle down and then buy into it. If you are a miner, go ahead and mine and keep your zcash for future. Right now, I don't expect it to go up unless the promoters do something to pump it up.

I'm still mining it, but no point in holding, even more so since we know little about the future of zcash. I do see an increase in zec payment on flypool so i make more zecs a day as people are going back to ETH. As you say, if the promoters don't plan something, it's going to keep falling to a point where no one will want to mine it.

Price of the Zcash is very low, it is all related to the problem with z-addr.
That's just one thing, I bet you that even if z-addr get resolved, the coin will not go up by mutch.
Also BTC is rising again which doesn't help altcoins in general, zec even more so...

The Peter Todd report really proved that the coin is full of holes and a total sham/scam... Nobody is even 100% sure that the seed generation was not compromised in some way that gives them power to create unlimited coins
I think it is not very possible for the ZCash to go to $2 if the ZAddress issue is resolved. Otherwise, it is possible to 0.

I see it as normal for anyone to hype a project even beyond its capacity and hoping it will live up to that. For the guys that lost some money they probably thought its the best decision with all the hype and all that, it could have been the best decision anyone would have taken if their plan had come to play. But its a risk that anyone could have taken? Most importantly the real potential of a coin is not in short term but how it can stand the test of time...

Agreed, it's almost as if this was done on purpose.
ZEC is suffering for so many reasons and BTCs rise surely didn't do it any good either.
It was obvious it wasn't going to stay at 200-300$/ZEC, but a stable 100$ would have been very nice. Anyway, I'll keep mining what I can until it becomes useless to mine.

Day by Day many people are loosing hopes on Zcash, because it keep getting lower and lower.

Price will probably drop below 0.1 this weekend.
Once that happens it may drop lower.
Psychological barriers like this always seem to cause a big swing.

The low supply in the beginning made them think that the price is reasonable, but they were wrong.
