Are there any videos for 10th seriece of nvdia graphic cards? I never have opened them since purchase and they getting hotter, I reach a temp of 76 degrees Celsius and that worries me sometimes. My cards are 1070 Palit, also if there are for rx5600 xt tuts of changing thermal pads, they are also getting hotter. I will be glad to try your pool sometimes, as of now I am using nanopool.

[DUAL Mining]

We closely follow the latest trends in mining and today's entry will focus on such a trend, i.e. DUAL mining ETH + TON
For a long time, miners have been trying to use the potential of their machines in 100%, hence the intense search for each computing unit to take an active part in the extraction.
This is how DUAL mining was created, i.e. mining two cryptocurrencies at the same time; one algorithm uses the potential of the core, and the other - the memory of the graphics card. There are many variations to this use, and the memory / core share varies depending on the particular connection. In this way, all computing power is used. Sounds good right?
The loudest connections so far in the history of mining were DUAL mining ETH / ETC + SIA, ETH / ETC + DECRED and ETH + ZIL
Now ETH / ETC + TON is a candidate for this honorable group.

Moving on to the merits, our observations on Dual Mining ETH / ETC + TON:
Pros:
+ We are digging two currencies at the same time, ETH and TON. It is a value in itself ⚒⚒⚒
+ Our revenues will be higher and the investment will be more diversified (enriched with TON mining)
+ Low hardware requirements - 4GB graphics cards are enough to be able to extract ETH / ETC + TON
Cons:
⛔️ Significantly increased exploitation of the equipment - on average 10-20% higher energy consumption, which translates into a significant decrease in work culture.
⛔️ More TONNES, less ETH - the first tests show a slight decrease in ETH mining, so DUAL mining in this case is the exchange of one crypto for another, something for something, it is not pure mining increment.
⛔️ With high electricity costs, the benefits may not be sufficient. ETH solo mining could turn out to be more profitable.
⛔️ Some graphics card models may fail - especially tall RTX models with LHR, for them ETH + TON operation may just be a path to early retirement
⛔️ Very dynamic increase in the difficulty of extracting TON, if the trend continues, the benefits will soon be too small to compensate for the cost of accelerated wear and tear of the equipment.

Verdict:
⛔️⛔️⛔️
Entry into Dual mining ETH + TON definitely requires an in-depth profit and loss analysis, you have to answer the question whether the increased extraction will compensate for the losses in the form of accelerated equipment wear and increased energy costs. There is a green light for some graphics card models ❤️ for some, unfortunately NO ⛔

[Arrow glacier hard fork in Ethereum]

The end of the year in Ethereum usually means a hard fork.
This year it cannot be different, the new version is called ARROW GLACIER and it is entirely devoted to bomb difficulty.

Practical meanings of the upcoming hard fork:

activation occurs at block 13,773,000 (around 8th December)
Only one EIP will be introduced, entirely focused on Ice Age / Difficulty Bomb
Contrary to rumors - the Diff bomby / Ice Age activation was not implemented. Mining is not yet over.
Arrow Glacier once again translates during the Ice Age, this time until June 2022.
In June, next directional decisions on the further future of Ethereum

Exactly on August 5, 2021, EIP 1559 was activated. It took 111 days to burn the millionth ETHER.
Below are some interesting facts related to the burning of Ethereum:
Total value of ETHERS burned: $ 3,827,057,069

If EIP 1559 had not come into force - this amount would go to miners.
Highest Daily Burnout: 16,852 ETHERS.
There are often days where the burn-up rate is higher than the new ETHER emissions.
If the emmision is lower than the number of destroyed coins, it means that ETHEREUM is a strictly deflationary currency on that day, its total number of coins in circulation LOWERS.
If on a given day the average Gas price is on the level of 120 Gwei, such a day in practice means that it is a deflationary day.
