Only Russian foolish people can make such projects just to scam people, community here must thank Gleb that he busted them early, btw who the people are there in videos??
Were they really advertising their scam project in conferences as shown in images and videos?
Can't they (people in images) be identified?

I wouldn't celebrate quite yet, as they claim it's a "unscheduled check".

Probably their exit strategy, instead of buying 4 lambos they will settle for sharing 1 rental lambo instead. Honestly at first I thought their site got hacked as well, but if that was the case any human with a brain would call the hosting provider and shut it down immediately (which would take 5-30 min) because it can contain vulnerabilities. Clearly they are holding those 500 Eth, now question is what they're going to do with it.

Don't underestimate them Russian dudes, for here's their plan - inject the the Eth in BitcoinMixer, then liquidate the clean coins on BTC-E, then go to Greece for holiday where they'll call their friends and family via Ziber to infrom them that they're having a good time. Genius!

Okay, so there's all this KYC on every exchange, and we all submit proof of our existence, isn't this something that one would use when something like this happens?

The address that sent the money to the address that withdrew the funds from the ICO is:  0xb9e924bD912325d3a4d44C3035382B3763184CCD which got a deposit from Bittrex.

Or is the KYC only for anti-pot money?

Their website shows 45k eth collected by now. Is it to create FOMO for those who don't know what's going on??

"Dear partners, we are restoring control over the ziber, everything is fine."

- some minutes ago on facebook

Maybe i'm too naive, but IF it is, that would have been the biggest scam, regarding efforts on Ziber side, ever - And even then they would deserve my funds, lol

Good evening,

I represent smartcontracteam developers

And I would like to give some explanations

1. Yes, we wrote a contract for ziber
2. We are developers and not hackers
3. The ziber addressed us and said that they needed the contract as soon as possible as a result, we postponed our affairs and made them a contract.
4. We warned the zeeber that the contract should be tested and audited to third-party developers
5. we did not deploy a contract in homestead, we dont have any access to ziber server or site
6. We warned the zeber that keeping money on the contract is not safe and it is necessary to immediately send them to the owner's wallet as make 99% crowdsale contracts, ziber dont agree with it and ask create withdraw method
7. we do not think that the money brought ziber, but we believe that there was a disorganization in testing the contract and was not able to make a qualitative audit
8. we realize that for us this is a huge reputation shock and we apologize for agreeing to do it in a hurry

This is all that we can say, we will not give any comments here if anyone has questions ready to respond in a PM

What???

Shame on you Smartcontracteam Developers & Ziber Team!!!

You both just trying to blame each other, but your reputation is now fuck*d up!
You can't cover the shit out with piss!

I hope you guys buy a lot of medicines with those stolen 1000 Ether!!!

I read first words and can tell it's a scam. Silly scammers now I have to read the rest.

Don't worry, it's well worth the read when you get to the part where Team Ziber found it prudent to cite Leroy Fodor quoting Joshua Zipkin of AMT fame in their attempt to discredit my scammy ass shortly after an olive branch was extended in giving them the benefit of doubt. My guess is that they used me as part of their exit strategy, thus I probably won't see a satoshi of my standard 35 BTC extortion fee.  Cry Cry Cry Life's a bitch on this USELESSper Leroy Fodor forum.

While sitting on the sidelines of that thread, I watched again and again the growing shit storm you were copping as the thread progressed. I had a strong feeling you were right and was waiting it out for you to be proved right. (again).
Your effort is greatly appreciated by many who haven't been burned by ICO's due to your sense of smell and fact finding..  Wink . ICO's are the new scam method unfortunately and my advice is to steer clear of them until a working product is developed and applied in the real world. I prefer air-drops + prayers these days  Kiss to get a nice return.

Their last post was they "will pay back", "we were hacked"........... sound familiar? Good luck to all who gave up some ETH trusting this scammy project.

There is one thing that bothers me, why not to wait a few hours or a few days maybe and then "hack" themselves, if it was planned, why to take only 200k? They could get away with much more then that...

Because ...

Here's another HUGE reputation shock - if you're not willing to opening discuss your role in Ziber (or whatever the FUCK zeber is) after tens of thousands of dollars have been stolen, then you, too, will have your brand listed in the scam section of this USELESS forum.

EDIT: On second thought, strike that. I consider you scammers already upon reading all your posts. You're in bed with this fuckers, you cocksucker!

Yes! Worth a read. Typical scammer misinformation, redirect, shills to support, excuses, mudslinging the scammer arsenal lol. Oh and the famous exit we been hacked.

Come on scammers make it harder for us not so easy to bust ya out.

Depending on how much cash is involved and it's obvious not first scam. I'm betting silver bracelets soon lol.

Oh too funny. That's why I love scammers always a good laugh.

Ty for this and your other posts! Always a good time.

The actual vulnerability isn't the one stated in the announcement made by Ziber user.

The attacker firstly restarted the Crowdsale by calling the Crowdsale function
https://etherscan.io/tx/0x21d1093cd6014d8ed543c1d8e9f72f904284fb77aaa9296a1f792b745f2785a1
as we see in the Crowdsale function which can be called by anyone the owner becomes the person who is calling the function, pretty simple hack, lol.

function Crowdsale(address _token, uint _start) {
    require(_token != 0);
    require(_start != 0);

    owner = msg.sender;
    token = ZiberToken(_token);
    startsAt = _start;
  }

then just a call to Withdraw function (https://etherscan.io/tx/0xb7f0d837a10028271d7177e86b595b266302f1bc65c9db5cd7a6d48740c2c4de) and there goes 1000 ether

Even the stlying of the code was designed to be "invisible" for people who (didn't) check the code carefully before investing:

  /// @dev Constructor
  /// @param _token Pay Fair token address
  /// @param _start token ICO start date
  function Crowdsale(address _token, uint _start) {
    require(_token != 0);
    require(_start != 0);

    owner = msg.sender;
    token = ZiberToken(_token);
    startsAt = _start;
  }

Well a Constructor needs to have the same name as the Contract (ZiberCrowdsale) -> it isn't in this case, but written as it is in the comment
An owner is normally assigned on the contract creation, and only the owner can transfer the ownership.
here, this method is designed to be transferd by anybody.

If it's by mistake, then it's a real stupid one and the crowdsale wouldn't have even started without explicitly calling this method. Then the custructor is only called once when the contract is created and can't be called afterwards.
