I’m gambling for so many years yet my colleagues or family member doesn’t know what I’m doing because I don’t share this information to other people simply because I have nothing to gain by doing that while there’s a lot of cons if you share it to somebody. It’s much easier to keep it a secret rather than expose it publicly then just ignore their opinion since you can have a much quieter gambling life if no one knows it.

That is why I don't buy this kind of issue if I hear someone talking about it because the more we argue with and explain our side, they won't listen. In fact, it is not their money, and whatever happens to us, we never ask for help from them.

Besides, it is our choice to gamble. As long as we enjoy what we are doing (gambling), we must not care what they think about us. That is their problem, not ours.

One thing about life is that whatever you do people will always complain and when you understand this when you see people trying talk things about your hobby it won't bother you because already you know people are good to talk about things that are not their business. Since it is always like this, to avoid people talking about what you do it will be best to be reserved in all you do because what people don't know about you they can't talk about it.

For me I think gambling is something that people don't even need to have to know your involvement with because it has no business with people knowing about it, it is just for you to play and wait for the outcome of it which people don't even need to know.

There is a wrong impression about gambling and that's why if someone sees us gamble, they'd always something to say about it.

But upon the conversation starts from them, as I've said it's best to avoid and ignore them because you don't meddle with anything that they do. So, it's best for them to not cause any talks especially about their thoughts about seeing someone gambling.

It's just upon their peripheral vision and that's why they seems to be obliged telling their opinions although you don't need them.

Yes, that true, and whatever other people say will not benefit us, on the other hand, by carrying out gambling activities we also don't make other people feel loss, so if what we do is seen as bad then just let it go.
Maybe they say some things out of concern and also because they don't want us to experience bad things, but basically we gamble with our own will and there is no coercion from anyone, whether it loss or gain, only we ourselves feel it.

People always have the right to think what ever it is they want to think and we have almost no power as to control whatever it is they want to think but then it's in our power to still do that which we wan to do regardless of what the taughts of these people will be because if you are not happy and are probably sad and didn't gets sometimes to keep u having fun during your leisure, the same people will talk about the fact that you are sad and not trying to cheer up basically what ever is it you do people will still talk and think so just gèt something good that makes you happy and do it.

If gambling is your hobby and it actually hurts no one it's not a problem if you continue with your hubby and still happen to have fun with it not minding what people think or say but if it turns out your hubby is causing problem to others then look for a way to possibly adjust so you don't get to make people suffer as a result of your hubby.

This! This must be the ones that we must do during those situations but I think there are people who are just weak and can get triggered easily by these. I think the only thing that they can do is to confront those people and tell them if what's really their problem? Tell them that if they won't stop we are going to report them to the authorities. I think there is a case for that. It's like bullying.

We shouldn't let those people continue to be like that because they can also do this to other people. Doing so will also help them to focus on fixing their selves and maybe they will thank us one day for this. They might also want to be our buddies after that.

I wouldn't spend time confronting them.

I will mind my own thing and they should just mind their own business as well. Confronting them will make you look like a villain when they're already ruining your day.

You're just going to ruin your day with that and I guess the latter will work, tell them that you're going to report them to the authorities if they won't stop bothering you.
