Well OP so far as you're taking responsibility for your actions and inactions, you put food on your table, clothes yourself and your family, provide a home of your own I don't really think it is necessary to listen to people's opinion about how you choose to live your life. In other words, the person is indirectly telling you to gamble responsibly because he has seen some persons that became wayward as a result of playing gamble though some persons see gambling as a game for wayward people but it's really because of people that don't gamble responsibly that made it looked as if gambling is bad if not Inasmuch as you can be able to meet up your daily obligations despite being a gambler I think no body will see you as part of the wayward gamblers. However, anybody's opinion doesn't really matter on how you choose to live your life, but let it be that you live a life that you will not be measured together with people that can't add value to their own lives.

Totally correct, things can be very good , it is better that when we do things well we like them because we enjoy them, and to do what makes us generate happiness, and if the casino and gambling are our best option to have fun Well, we have to do it, no matter what People say, we should Always do what we like, as long as it does not hurt anyone, as long as we are Doing things well within the normal parameters, because I believe that it does not hurt anyone in fact, others should not care what we do with our own money.

Exactly. I like the conclusion of your statement because that's an honest fact. We only have life and should live it to our satisfaction, not based on what other people gossip about in our name and expect us to be the way they want, and perhaps it's only jobless people who end up discussing other things when it's not their business. 

But realistically, that's how life is. People must always talk about something they don't like about you, but what matters is what you think about your lifestyle. Gambling is not a bad activity, and as long as one is gambling responsibly, I don't think it should be a problem for anyone. 

People may care about us if we make a wrong move, but it's still all us who bear it and other people can only advise us, perhaps with the pretense of caring, but if we feel that we are still within safe limits then other people's comments don't need to be paid attention to. the most important thing is that we don't harm them or our gambling is still normal and we don't experience addiction or anything, if they feel uncomfortable with the gambling we do they can avoid us without needing to see or pay attention to us, because gambling is everyone's right to play want to do it and usually they use their cellphones which can gamble anywhere with easier access.

Other people's comments sometimes make us feel uncomfortable. They don't know us well or don't know anything about the gambling we experience but they say as if they understand our situation. Even though there are many people who don't care about other people's lives because their own lives are more complicated and choose to remain silent about it other people, so why should we care about other people's words that don't give us any benefit.

This has always happened, it is just that with social media becoming as popular as it is right now, not only you have people of your local community making comments and negative remarks behind your back, now you could have people all over the world doing the same, so many people are succumbing to social pressure and doing what other people think they should do, and this is a recipe for unhappiness, as once people realize they have been avoiding doing the things they like just because of what other people are saying, they may realize and regret they are not able to do them anymore.

People should care nothing about our activities as long as we are not giving  them trouble about our gambling activities , because it is our time , money and life that is in risk and spending .
though at some chances we are giving consent to our love ones so they can support nor advise us whenever we have troubles or we are in success ,that is the importance of other people but in totality ? idon't care about what they say to me.

I think it's not about the development of the country we live in, but about the fact that in any country there are people who are ready to spend their time not on something useful, but on discussing other people. Such people are mostly losers, so there is no sense in following their recommendations or living the way they imagine it. Life is given once and you should live it the way you want to live it, not the way others want you to live it.

Okay, today I was actually out for a little business and it happens that I almost spent all my time wasted without me even having a smooth deal, but along the line I have few games that I have placed a bet and was wanting to view my games from my phone since gambling is now mobile, what I meant by mobile is that you can access your account at any place provided that you have an internet connectivity you will login to monitor your matches.

So when I logged in, someone close to me easily peep from my left hand side and noticed that I just opened my account monitoring my games, at this point what he said is "ahh you don join dem"? Meaning you have also belong to the groups of people that gambles?

On a lighter note, I just smile and asked him if there is anything wrong while gambling or while monitoring my games and he said nothing but just that few people he knew that are gambling almost turned useless.

This now triggered me to come ask here whether you cares about what people says or sees you as when gambling, I know there are people who don't know you from time or who doesn't believe that you are a gambler and if it happens that you came across such people and their reaction towards you goes other way round would you care about it or you just totally ignore them?

Nowadays only in not so well developed countries people like to talk about each other life,in people where life is rushing and is very fast paced in general no one has time to deal with what you are doing or with what activity you are spending your time.Of course in the offline casinos in any country people will talk,look at that person going to the casino and losing money and we cannot stop this general judgement against gamblers,this is passed on by generations to generations.I mean in a country not really fast paced like the one where I live,people invade your privacy and ask you things that they shouldn't like coming near you and trying to see what are you doing with your phone,making you at risk even when you do online gambling.

I dont believe people who say that they dont care what other think about them. It is always nice to have a positive image and keep it. But, if people will try to judge me only by gambling hobby, I would try to persuade them that gambling is not the only think I do in my life. If they say that I am doing something bad, or will end broke, then fine, they have that vision, I have different. It not that I really care that much or dont care at all. But I will do my best to make them judge me only by my deeds, my success, but not what I do in general.

That's you my friend, and me, I do not care about what people view or say about me regarding gambling and any other things else. This is because I live my life the way I want to live it and above all, everything is positive for me in such a way that I am emulateable. But can many other people beat their chests on that? That is the issue. If you are responsible in gambling and you have a good life, people will never look down or talk down on you no matter what, they will even want to associate with you and respect you. But the same thing cannot be said of an irresponsible gambler because such has created that view for himself, so it is better he either change his ways or gamble in hiding, otherwise, he has given people a pass mark over him.

After all, what people could be saying about him is to warrant a change and the earlier the gambler changes, the better. Also, in some localities where females are widely respected and known for things afar from gambling, I think women should respect that so that they do not have this kind of odd feeling, this is unless she is shameless.

If you started thinking of what people do say about gambling I don't think that you will be able to participate in gambling any longer so I know very well that gambling have to do with understanding and if you don't know the secret of gambling you will not be able to gamble very well so that is why I do like people to think on their own and know the application of gambling and they also advantages of gambling by their selves
