I don't care about what other people say about me because I am gambling. This is because I gamble responsible and I don't use my gambling activities to disturb anyone's peace. One thing that I have noticed is that whatever you do in life, people must always talk. If you watch out, sometimes the people that are saying all these because you are gambling, are people that you are better than. This is why I just keep on wondering why would you think I will become useless because I am gambling.

And when you're at that state, it only means that you don't care what others are saying about you. You sell stuff, goods and everything you own because you have no money left to gamble.

That's the highest level of gambling addiction or close to it when you're doing that already. When you hear people say such things about you, it's going to be annoying because all you're doing is to do unnecessary things that will put you into a more bad situation.

To me, I don't care what they say but I am aware of my status when I gamble.

which makes other people care about gamblers because they see the big effects that result beyond limits, such as selling goods, losing responsibility, reducing common sense. This causes family and friends to take the initiative to provide advice on reducing gambling activities when gamblers are given the motivation that they are actually aware of the situation. but on the other hand, gamblers have high hopes of getting the win,

Basically it's true as you said above that this is life where there are always people who don't really like us and they may always find fault with us, but as I said above because we are talking about the context of gambling then I don't think everyone will really blaspheme you, There is a possibility that some of them care about your safety because after all gambling always has the possibility of bad effects that can occur at any time, so I think there is nothing wrong with filtering the ideas they throw at you by identifying their criticism, if for example the criticism contains concern then I think there is nothing wrong with being reconsidered.

Okay, today I was actually out for a little business and it happens that I almost spent all my time wasted without me even having a smooth deal, but along the line I have few games that I have placed a bet and was wanting to view my games from my phone since gambling is now mobile, what I meant by mobile is that you can access your account at any place provided that you have an internet connectivity you will login to monitor your matches.

So when I logged in, someone close to me easily peep from my left hand side and noticed that I just opened my account monitoring my games, at this point what he said is "ahh you don join dem"? Meaning you have also belong to the groups of people that gambles?

On a lighter note, I just smile and asked him if there is anything wrong while gambling or while monitoring my games and he said nothing but just that few people he knew that are gambling almost turned useless.

This now triggered me to come ask here whether you cares about what people says or sees you as when gambling, I know there are people who don't know you from time or who doesn't believe that you are a gambler and if it happens that you came across such people and their reaction towards you goes other way round would you care about it or you just totally ignore them?

I think we all deserve some level of privacy with the things that we do, just because you gamble doesn't mean everyone must know that you gamble for real. Most youth today spent their time to gamble when they are bored and for other reasons but because youth gamble shouldn't give you the assumption that all youth gamble, so I don't know where people are going to know if you actually gamble in real unless you say it to them yourself.

The only place I will think people should care about gambling is if their doctrine doesn't support gambling, if you're a person with faith and you value it very well, then that's another case differently but this doesn't mean anyone has the right to tell you what you do, what you do is entirely up to you and what your mind tells you about gambling. I know Islam is one of the doctrine that disallowed gambling and makes people see you as person who is defile the teaching of prophet.

This is not a question to ask because in this life,if you are somebody that is always been scared of what people say about you,I don't think you can ever do anything your mind says you should do.Therefore,I know people see gamblers as people who won't become anything,and people who are wasting money,but I don't have to look at that because those same people that were insulting you for gambling are the same people that will celebrate you for winning big if you should eventually win big through gambling.It very good that we keep on trying because nobody knows where the luck will come from.

Honestly i don't have to care about what other people say regarding why am gambling as long as i know am not gambling irresponsibly, we don't have to go by the voice of the crowd sometimes because they are nothing than nuisance in some cases, whereas when we are only doing something that is not right, should then be when we have to consider the advise from other people concerning what we are doing, everyone have his freedom to say whatever thing they feels about us or gambling.

It will hurt you a lot when important family members or your own people discuss your bad habits and blame you.  However, it is foolish to care if an outsider or a stranger discusses your gambling issue because it is completely your personal matter to spend your money and time on gambling. Gambling is not always a bad thing.  Sometimes gambling becomes a good medium to give us a lot of happiness even in our worst moments when only you can understand the feelings of gambling.  So I don't think it's logical to care if anyone other than your family members discuss your gambling.

In any case, each player has close people who can influence the player’s desire when playing gambling. For example, a player can be furious and make inappropriate bets compared to his wallet, but he will be afraid of his wife if she finds out about this, but still walk on the edge of the blade. And as soon as she finds out about this, he will be afraid of her and she will yell at him, threatening him with divorce and children. I think that this would definitely make me stop, because if I lose my family, then why win in gambling or I don’t understand the moments.

Gambling cannot be a good addiction. so when someone talks about your gambling it will ruin your reputation so who cares. while not always caring, it is definitely caring when multiple people start discussing your gambling habhit. for this reason it may be a good idea to always keep the gambling secret

A good opinion you have here, in everything we do our individual decision surpass everything, but it must matter to people that are concerned about you how you go about your life, it is normal for people to give us advise but what's matters is how authentic and helpful such advise is, it is known by many that gambling is addictive and it has the power to change people from their normal self, even though people opinion doesn't count in your life, you should also be concerned about what you do that triggers advise from extra body.
