They are still up regardless how innovation works at this digital era because there are still individuals that doesn't like to engage in any social media and technology, which is a leading marketing strategy today. Not sure if newspaper still useable because even the Newspaper and magazines printing company is more active in providing news information via their social media sites, but there are still a few people who read the newspaper especially the elderly who are used to reading it and don't want to learn to use a mobile device or any social media no matter what instruction is done to them.
Television, I can say, is still one of the oldest media that an individual can get those marketing and ads. I can agree that some people don't want to dwell these social media platforms. But consider that most population are already part of these socmed channels. When it comes to newspapers, I guess, very few are into this medium nowadays.
Some are also into streaming activity just to showcase certain websites, and mostly these streamers are being paid by the site they are being promoted. Hence, better be careful in what you are seeing, it may be a clickbait or such an exaggeration. In short, don't believe what you are seeing.
