How does being a witness and earning coins work
It's a little technical, but DCT users have to vote for witnesses. And the people who want to be witnesses in a sense have to campaign for their votes. A witness usually gives out details, such as what kind of dedicated computer they have. Typically a VPS, the specs, and have to show how responsible they are. That's what I can remember.
Shouldn't it be push-easy, like LSK? Isn't it important that this is a transparent robust part of the project, for the security of the chain and protocol?
Really makes me question the leadership and organization of this project.
Seems like Autism-central.
Please make it easier, DCT... have some Slovak(?) ian pride!
You're making these strong negative comments about the team, yet you barely know anything about the code or coin, judging how you're asking questions as if you're new. An now you "question the leadership." Sound so fake.
It's basically the way of the internet and people with their definite dumb opinions that they are so sure of, but that is based on very limited knowledge.
For example, there's a big controversy right now in the gaming industry, with loot boxes and downloadable content. Where in the past you would pay $60 for a full game, but now you pay $60 for part of the game and really to get the whole game, you have to spend hundreds in downloadable content. The logic behind the hate gets repeated many times. But then comes a guy, that probably spend a lot of his days commenting on everyday news stories to comment on an article about it, and the guy has probably never played a video game, completely doesn't understand the outrage, and goes on a rant about, "if you don't like it don't buy it... control what your kids buy..." And just your standard superficial logic and comments from a person who has very limited knowledge about a subject, yet think they are experts.
