They said from start it is going to be PoS, so why do you bother about the specs if you got no tokens?
Yeah, they said pos, that much i gathered already. That info was even contained by the generic message from the bot i encountered on this thread a few weeks earlier.
Still no word on blocktime, algo, blockrewards...
... not even starting to talk about transparent alocation of tokens to "the investors"... i know you can't or won't do that. But common, blocktime? Is it really that hard?
Does it piggyback on another chain and that's why nobody wants to talk about it or what's the deal with this token? Does it have its own blockchain or is it a subtoken? To what chain?
I understand your frustration with the lack of information about the specs, but much more important at this moment for Decent must be what makes this blockchain unique compared to 99% of the blockchains: the content distribution system. I believe the reward system, algo, block time, etc. are probably going to be defined afterwards considering how good they fit to make the content distribution platform work smoothly and flawlessly. That's what testnet is made for.
In oher words, these specs will kind of "fit" into the content distribution, not the other way. So these specs will be defined afterwards. For example, the team seems to be trying to avoid selecting a block time and then changing it prior to launch, raising many questions from the community. People here tend to consider everything said as promises.
P.S.: I am very curious about these specs too. But I predict they will only release it few days before the main net launch.
