Question about this coin. It's going to host videos right? 4k video, HD, etc? That's a lot of terabytes if this thing becomes popular? Is it going to be like torrents in that once a video loses popularity they are in sense gone forever, and only the proof that it used to be there left behind?
Yes, becoming a decentralised real-time Netflix and Youtube is one of the principal goals of DECENT. HD, 4k and 8k and much more are going to be supported.
Concerning data distribution protocols, various (IPFS, Tribler, ...) are going to supported in live DECENT-Core.
The goal is to achieve continuous redundancy of the content.
DECENT has a decentralised reputation system based on immutable blockchain no third party can tweak.
There is a small publishing fee depending on the size of the content and publishing time to prevent spam. Thereby, unpopular content would not get republished and will eventually peter out and will not continue to bloat DECENT Network.

DECENT,
how about changing the policy for Twitter & Facebook, requiring Twitter followers to also (re)tweet X number of posts about DECENT; or Like/Share posts in facebook - this way only those that tweet or share/like DECENT posts will be rewarded & previous followers of twitter & facebook will still be included. Same way as filtering out for the newsletter bounty.

Also, I see no License Agreement, without one it's impossible to sell content. What about Copyright Infringement?

The idea looks great, nice explaining in the video!
What I don't like is big number of delays, I have seen this a lot in this thread. Hope you can follow your roadmap without any delays in the future and you learned from previous delays.
Again, think you have a great product here, so wish you guys good luck and will contribute some BTC to help.

Hi, the delay were caused by validating the product and getting ready for the ICO. We wanted to make sure that everything is ready because ICO is one time chance.
Regarding copyright infringement. We plan to integrate that in later stage. Copyright of digital content is technically unsolvable issue. You can solve in only partly. In current system we have you can rate content and also when you publish something its timestamped. Our campaign manager DECENT Bounty will take care of this. The obvious spammers will be deleted as well. However it's not possible to detect everyone. There are huge numbers of people trying to abuse our bounty campaign as well on Twitter and in our newsletter:

Noticed that there are quite alot of people abusing bounties. Have you guys considered using https://theviralexchange.com ? The recent Stratis ICO benefited from it quite well I heard. Prevented around 80k Stratis tokens or more from potential abusers. Can't remember the exact figure but I do remember seeing it from Stratis slack.

Great thanks for advice. We will consider this option. For now we are simply trying to manually check everyone and either we contact suspicious participants or we delete them automatically. The lists of participants will be public probably next week.
