Do they ship to USA?

Not that I know of. Loaded coins are technically not allowed to be sent into US because of money transmission laws.
All though, there is nothing stopping another non-US forum member sending you one sideways Wink

How can I get a few of these coins?

You can email them directly from their site. Link is in OP
or I messaged them on Facebook.
Both ways seem to get responses.
Not sure what the status is since they did their "air drop" in Japan not long ago.
Hopefully they still have samples / freebies available!! Cheesy

Thanks

So eventually will they be selling these in bigger quantities ?   Is there a max amount they plan to produce?

I would imagine.
All though, right now, we know that they will be sold in vending machines.
And some sort of "air-drop" delivery for residents of Japan.....
If you can read Japanese that would be a bonus!!

I'm interested in 10-20 coins, but located in the US.  I do have a friend in Japan if it's possible for him to ship to the US legally.  I'm not sure if that IS actually legal.

Let me know

Legal? No, this would be considered "money transmission" without a license if he were to SELL them to you
BUT
It is ok for someone to send these to you as a GIFT and not merchandise that you actually "purchased/bought"  Wink

Thanks

I'm interested in a USA group buy for this if some trusted member (like MJ) would be so kind to set something up. Anyone else?

Edit: Ah my bad, just read through everything. It seems I'm a bit late to the game. If anyone is willing to sell 1 to me I would be indebted forever.

I emailed them, they sent free coins, they arrived and I am very happy!

The material may be low end but the design and quality more than compensates. I am inspired by these coins.

The first batch is 10,000 Satori and they are all numbered, they will produce more in the next batch.
They did distribute most in Japan at BTC events and through their vending machines they were calling it "airdrop."
Also they distributed samples of 4 units around to some countries to collectors for promo.

The lower numbers below 5K were for Japan, so I guess lower numbers could be more valuable to collectors.
I got some in the 5K range.

Looking forward to see when they can open sales internationally and what other options they'll have, different colors, different holograms.

I believe they plan to create custom batches for people who are interested or for a project or an event, etc. Like Zaif did.

The one thing it could be done better is the white stripes, they are painted on plastic and scratch off very easily.
I did tell em to make the white bits in solid plastic as it would make the coins more durable.

I can confirm that the serials are over the 7xxx range

* duh, see the picture ^^

The first batch is of 10,000 coins, of course there are 7xxx and over, I saw the one numbered one in their pics on the site. Smiley

This would be a good collector item:
