Well, no one provided a contact number of any kind for verification.
So, plan B.

Sent off emails to the Dubai Airport to verify they have the 33,000 troy pounds of gold, or at least a contract with Onegram/GoldGuard to hold this much at the location.
Sent off emails to the Center of Islamic Banking & Economics to see if they are Sharia compliant.
Sent off emails to Loomis.
Sent off a message to Ferdous Bhai.
Waiting on a return email on those.

Still digging.

Response from Ferdous Bhai...
He is providing technical support via 21mil.com

Although this is a sharia compliant crypto but anyone irrespective of his religion can participate in it.
I have intuition that this is going to be one of the best and top crypto because not only its devs are based in Dubai but also because it is first sharia compliant.
So is Onecoin.
Neither have provided proof of gold ownership.

Onecoin is sharia complaint too
https://www.businessforhome.org/2016/08/onecoin-adds-shariah-compliance/

Everyone knows they're not a scam /s

I would like a contact number to call to verify the gold holdings.
Or something to verify that you have the gold you say backs up this crypto.

you can contact them via slack.

I dont want to speak to a developer, I want the number to the vault that is storing the gold.
I want to verify the holdings/contract is actually there.

I don't understand this OGCsig campaign mgr, why would someone contact the team themselves to confirm their gold holdings Huh
Sometimes common sense is not present here.
@ MadHatt597, I do hope that you are successful in verifying those claims. And hope what you will dig will not be too late to let everyone know the truth.

Are you sure that they are really based in Dubai?

I like digging for facts.
Ill let you all know if I find something... good or bad.

You should have made this a self moderated thread to avoid unnecessary fud. This has happened to many ICO and they have to move their thread to self-moderated one to avoid this.Iconomi has to do it months after their ICO.I suggest you lock this and create a new thread.

The accusations thrown to this project is not by any means fudding.
The dev didn't answer the significant questions here.
But anyway, we will know in time who's telling the truth here.
We will know the truth with time but most threads that are about ICOs and stuff like that, like bounties or signature campaign create their threads as self moderated topics so this should be a self moderated topic in my mind, no doubt about that.

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!

Excited for the ultimate time for the Initial Coin Offering starting May 21. Would advise the developers to integrate a system so that we can view the sales stats real time on the website.

5 days away is a nice thing to see this sharia program running on ICO, it's actually project that seems to have a priority view of particular religion, but I welcome it very well because this concept is successfully applied to my country, especially southeast asia.

so what happen when the goverment decides to confiscate the gold and give you fiat? what will happen to the coin?
Why a government may do that ? It is a basic right to hold/handle gold in the name of business by a registered organization, but when we are having proper documentation for physical gold, I guess government will not challenge for any legal issues.
check this out https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Executive_Order_6102
It happened in the past, it could happen again.
So onegram is pretty much centralized. I thought the strong point of cryptocurrency is because it is decentralized.

so far all "gold-backed" coins are garbages and went nowhere. They all make false claims. This one will be the same I think.

Making a self moderated thread is itself a questionable thing. Most people who wana scam creates such a thread to delete the undesired replies. I think if the dev has no intentions of scam, keeping the thread open for views and cristism is a good idea. When you are right, your right no matter what other FUD.  Grin

Hi everyone, here's a link to our Slack channel should you like to participate: https://onegramslack.herokuapp.com/

We'd also encourage you to visit our Frequently Asked Questions page which clarifies many of your inquiries/concerns: https://onegram.org/faq/
Thanks a lot dev.
I really find a Frequently Asked Questions page to be indeed a handy quide for me and it also cleared my few queries which were in my mind especially the Yalapay payment gateway concept. A new and a brilliant concept  Smiley
