Like Hanslo suggests, log into Justcoin and click the question mark or the Support-link. We are not able to answer support tickets via a public forum. I am sure we will solve the issue if it isn't already solved. Smiley

Smiley

Very nice! Next time you should maybe consider another name. The name "market liquidity rescue pack" might give someone the wrong associations. I would have chosen something like "market liquidity bonus pack" instead. The plan itself look very good and I'm sure it will increase the volume  Smiley

Ny blog-post (engelsk): Transaction malleability and attack on the Bitcoin network
Quote
Already on Monday, a fix was proposed by Wladimir J. van der Laan and accepted by the Bitcoin core developers:
This is not a fix.  The commit message describes it as a "Rough workaround".  It will work in the most common cases, but does not fix the case where a confirmed txid changes due to a blockchain reorg, even just one level deep.  Those happen daily.

On a general note: I applaud Justcoin for acting swiftly. I'm sure they do as well as they can. If anyone has proposals to make them even better, I'm sure they would appreciate this as well.

Although I read a lot about it, I dont really get all the technical details.
But Exchanges, Bitcoin Devs and Miningpools are working together to get this issue solved, I am kinda optimistic about that, as it doesnt really affect the security of the Bitcoin-protocol.

Bitstamp shortly enabled BTC-Withdrawals again.

Very nice to hear, so there is already a patch out, that fixes this issue completly?
Yes: https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/3651 - it's quite technical
This is by no means a complete fix.  It is a patch for one of the issues, and it may still fail in case of a one block reorg.  This happens quite frequently when two miners mine a block at the same height at the same time.

I guess you guys are well aware of the issue with the transaction malleability exploit affecting all exchanges with an automated BTC-Withdrawal-System.

Anyway, still love trading at Justcoin, keep up the good work.

Yes, we are currently running withdrawals in batches, manually. Our wallet looks reasonably unaffected. To be sure, we've applied the patch/fix created by the Bitcoin developers last night. Once we get the wallet cleaned up entirely, we'll resume automatic withdrawals. I expected this to happen before the weekend.

Very nice to hear, so there is already a patch out, that fixes this issue completly?

Nettopp annonsert av Justcoin på Twitter: "Bitcoin withdrawal requests will be slower than normal today."
