I think some governments (and in some extent banks) are holding blockchain technology back by prohibiting ICOs and cryptocurrencies because exactly through blockchain start ups we are getting the development of the mentioned technology. It will be great if they help such companies in every possible way instead. Excessive regulation in this sphere can also harm the technology.

One thing is ease of use. Many of us on this forum and involved in crypto in general either work in tech or have some level of technical background/expertise, and we don't have much trouble downloading wallets, logging into exchanges etc. But for the average person in the street with no technical knowledge these can be insurmountable challenges. For the sort of person who needs to phone a computer shop and get someone to come to their house to set up a new pc or internet access, there is a big technical barrier to moving into crypto. Even buying bitcoin with fiat will have its challenges.

It is not easy to make people change their habits. The biggest problem is in that area. People are still thinking cryptocurrencies is "virtual money" and can disappear anytime. It is not easy to adapt this kind of change. Young people are adapting more easily so every year community is growing by them. But older people it is too hard to adapt. You can't teach a new thing to an old dog. Of course, it is not that all young people adapting and all old people can't but usually, the situation is like this.

With more products like open money, I believe more people can draw to the crypto world. If crypto becomes a part of their lives they can't fight it anymore and they can embrace it.

We totally agree with you. Some governments in the eastern part of the world have banned ICOs but we feel like it's a matter of time that this ban gets lift up. Maybe some regulations will have to be put in place, but ICOs have proven to be an excellent way of making ideas come true! As for digital currencies, we don't believe they will ever be banned. Not at this point anymore... They are so strong!

Yes, they can help all mainstream app to get on blockchain but also they can help everybody who wants to do an app on the blockchain. And if I'm not wrong, there is not a competition in that area. It is a big market and untouched yet. Open Money could get too much benefit from it and with open money investors like us can gain good profits
