and they still insist , they need contract , which i don't have , i think as you guys say , i  will ask my followers to spam them on social media

https://imgur.com/Sho7KTY

Can you share a screenshot of the email where they ask for contract details (with the insane demand for the client's passport) for transactions from Binance even after you pass verification?

in the meantime, they answer on Twitter https://twitter.com/freewalletorg/status/1623933848924065792?s=20&t=y9Dku_PcewWecr7zG-tIAA

If a user sent all the documents then the Freewallet team is reviewing them. If not, then we inform our users what's missing and wait for their response. We wouldn't advise speculating on this matter.

a purely uniform answer, they seem pretty uninterested in solving this problem.

here is screen shot of request contract : https://imgur.com/IWmTc43

and i did update on the main thread. i will go along with them to see where this going , i will keep you on updates and thanks all for support

I have this thought that developers are not using custodial wallet or using it with a minimum amount to transact, they are the educated ones in this industry, am wrong on my assumption.
Being a developer doesn't necessary mean knowing everything about cryptocurrencies. Obviously, he was using it just to receive payments from his clients as he is from a country where almost all other payment methods are banned.

the problem is most websites blocked syria access
You should avoid using web and custodial wallets at all costs. Use an open source non custodial wallet where you will be the only one who have control over your coins.

-----------

yes exactly , if i have paypal or credit card i would never use crypto , but it was my only option , anyway thank for helping

the problem is they need me to ask my clients for there passport and make contract with them , which i can't do , i have multiple client and  My clients are not obligated to send me their passport details
Now this is indeed ridiculous, and their selective scamming is currently activated. How on earth employers will accept this to provide their IDs/passport to their employees, where you have lots of employers/clients in the past few years of working.

After resolving this issue (hopefully) eventually avoid using that kind of wallet, use only community trusted wallets for bitcoin such electrum, hardware wallets such trezor, and multiwallets such as coinomi, trustwallet, metamask, exodus. Wish you goodluck.

This is yet another horrible story I don't see ending well, but hope for the best.  Tongue

yeah man, never use sites to hodl your coins - not your keys, not your coins!

Use mycelium for android on your phone or buy a Trezor and have your clients send there instead.

Good luck!

The Freewallet.org platform has a lot of negative reviews with the same stories and the same excuses and there are many users who had the same problem as you and could not withdraw their money, it is a dishonest platform and they do not have the identities of its owners or an address that we can verify, it is a semi-anonymous and untrustworthy platform.

The total balance that you have on their platform is 1.794 BTC, which is a very huge amount. You need to expose them everywhere, even on your Telegram channel, and ask users to stand by you to support you in your case towards them and to report their accounts on Social Media and send threats to them. I hope that what you and your supporters do will affect the team of this scam platform.

This is illogical, your customers will not send their legal documents to you because they are not forced to show their identity and perform any KYC with you, and therefore you will fail to submit these documents to the Freewallet.org platform and this is what they want so they maliciously steal you.

-----------

i wish i did some search about this wallet before i use it , i really don't know what to do , know i am very disappointed and depressed , i'm afraid if i ask my followers to spam there soical media account then they have reasoin not to give me back my account

and some people , other scammers how follow me , (people how crack my developments and re-sell it) will take advantage of that

I thought the one who created this accusation is a newbie who just started to invest in Cryptocurrency but was pleasantly surprised that its a developer, even if you're working for 3 years on freewallet you should still do your research on what's the latest on the custodial wallet you are using, it's too risky I have this thought that developers are not using custodial wallet or using it with a minimum amount to transact, they are the educated ones in this industry, am wrong on my assumption.

It's too bad that you didn't take a moment of your time to investigate the dreadful reputation of this terrible piece of software. When FreeWallet gets their claws in you, they make demands. There is a first set of demands that you meet. Then, they send a second batch. If you meet those as well, they get angry and send an even more ridiculous set of questions. The idea is to frustrate you to the point of giving up and letting them take your coins. Since you agreed to use them, you now unfortunately have to dance as they pull the strings.

I hope it works out for you. I know it didn't for many. In the future, please avoid using such scams and ask questions if in doubt.

the problem is most websites blocked syria access
Does Electrum restrict access to Syrians? Does the mobile Blue Wallet do it? Even if Google or the App store does, you can get the software from GitHub. And you can use various VPN software to open the sites you want.

but freewallet has no restriction on region what's why i use it
Of course not. Why limit the scope of people you can scam when you can scam people from all corners of the globe? FreeWallet doesn't discriminate. They scam everyone equally.

Thanks for your support and yes that's what they told me on email "the requested info due to the AML policies. The contract and screenshot from the sending platform account are required" , but i can't ask my clients for there information such as passport , and i told them i can show you my chats with my clients on telegram via skype , but they just ignore my request and say we need contract and screenshots from binance

even though i contacted with one of my client and he send me screen shot from his email , show the transaction info such as my wallet address and txid , and they just ignore it and ask for contract

all other info about me and my location and name have been verified

This wallet has previously been accused of systematically scamming its customers, and the list is long. You have used their service for so many years and still they have scammed you. Sorry for your loss, don't know why you kept such a large amount of fund hold in such a bad reputation wallet. They have scammed their customers with small amounts in their accounts using various excuses, and you have such a large amount of funds, so freewallet is now trying to scam these money with various excuses.

i did provide this docs  (which was difficult because its in arabic and i hade to travel to DC to translate it from verified translator)  :

Given that you say you are in Syria (currently), and you mention DC, does that mean you were in the US at some point? I ask this because for me and most people from the West, that abbreviation generally represents the District of Columbia (US). Far from justifying these scammers you trusted, but changes in the IP address (if any) of the country from which you accessed your wallet can create additional problems.

The only advice that makes sense is the one already written to you by @ETFbitcoin, because if you don't put pressure on them publicly, they will just continue with their insane demands, hoping that you will give up.

no i never travel from syria , i am collage student , and i provided certificated paper from government of my location and make skype call with there support , the problem is not my location or my identity , it all ready verified ,

the problem is they need me to ask my clients for there passport and make contract with them , which i can't do , i have multiple client and  My clients are not obligated to send me their passport details

Sorry for your loss. But freewallet.org is known to perform selective scam by demanding ridiculous requirement of personal/sensitive data. There's long list of victim of freewallet.org[1] and they even attempt to scam Elon Musk in past[2]. At this point, the only suggestion i could give is protest on their social media and hopefully it receive big attention so they would return your coin.

thanks for your support , i did send messages on there telegram account , but not helpful he just ask me contact support via email

I've seen many cases of their selective scam... The only ones that actually got their cases resolved (AFAIK) were the ones that generated massive attention... Private e-mail, pm, telegram,... might not do the trick.

Bitcointalk, twitter, other big forums where they are active *might* persuade them to unlock your money.

I noticed this too, once they have an excuse to scam, they will selectively scam their users.
It is like their loophole to scam their users when it comes to the enhanced verification which I think they scam when they have an excuse or just they are waiting for you to have mistakes and then --boom! they stole your crypto because they have a reason for it.

@OP, you are not an elite here but still, you use this fraud wallet that is very well-known here in the forum.
A developer of what? if that is related to crypto you should know how to protect your asset with an open-source or decentralized wallet.

but they insist that i need to send a contract with my clients and screen shots from binance account which i don't have

it's complete nonsense that they insist that you prove how you sent ace from your Binance account. you can't control where your clients pay you money from, in the end, it's not Freewallet's concern. finally, Binance is a legitimate platform.

is there a possibility to make some kind of contract with at least one client who will make payment through Binance?

if this screenshot is an accurate representation, where more than 1.79BTC is concerned, it is by no means a small amount, and I agree with mocacinno, you have to press them on all public channels. I don't know exactly how things work in Syria regarding the legality of owning cryptocurrencies, but you may have to take legal action against them.
