Interested in trying out the service when the beta(?) opens, looks to be invite only now, if any invites are available please send..

If you preregistered you will receive an invite code as we phase user into the Beta.

I don't think I did, sounds like I will miss the beta, unless of course you want to throw me in the mix..

Currently you need in invitation key to register, any idea when this is going to open up to the public?
Some time after they payout the missing $5000 ?

Give them a break, they're only 2 months late

At least they finally removed it from the website... That's some progress
It's still in his sig in the post above me now Smiley

OK. I looked it up:

Quote
The combined effect of Sections 197 to 206 of the Criminal Code of Canada bans for-profit gaming or betting, with exceptions made for provincial lotteries, licensed casinos, and charity events. Many stores, radio stations, and other groups still wish to hold contests to encourage more purchases or increase consumer interest. These organizations take advantage of the fact that the law does allow prizes to be given for games of skill, or mixed games of skill and chance. In order to make the chance-based contests legal, such games generally consist of a mathematical STQ.

...
For contests held in other countries but open to Canadians, a STQ must be asked of any potential Canadian winner.

NOTICE TO CANADIAN RESIDENTS: Any Canadian residents who is identified as a potential winner will be required to correctly answer a series of mathematical skill-testing questions. In addition to meeting the other requirements to win the Prize, all of the questions must be answered correctly in order to qualify.

WTF is this about? Are they required by law to do this, or do they just hate Canadians?

Shocked That seems really bad! Huh Waiting for OP's answer is the only option, I think! Roll Eyes

The $5000 prize haven't been be drawn on yet? Seem nothing update on official site.
Quote
* The prize is $5000 in Bitcoin! The prize will be drawn on November 30th 2014. The winner will be notified by email. One registration grants one entry. Each friend referral grants one entry. The winner will be published on Mintsy.co. The draw will be performed randomly by a computer. No private information will be shared with third parties. Not available to residents of Arizona.

Seems to me that they've abandoned the project (due to lack of interest? bitcoin price?). But by law, those $5000 should have been drawn anyway, on the indicated date.

I scanned through their own "Official rules" and don't see a clause giving them a right to cancel (and pretty sure it wouldn't be legal).

What is the estimated launch time?

How deeply is it going to be connected to Cryptsy? Wouldn't it be best if existing Cryptsy customers could use Mintsy using the same login credentials?

Will the Mintsy contracts be tradable on Cryptsy? Will it be possible to convert MN1 and MN2 into Mintsy contracts?

Anyway, looking forward to it

When you say you are partnered up, you mean these contracts will be tradable via exchanges? Or Did I miss understand that aspect of the post / partnership.

Furthermore, how would X-algo clouds work? Do we also get to choose where these clouds mine/perform?

Finally, will you be allowing paypal / credit card to purchase contracts?
