If i go to the TEK website, there is an option to download the windows and linux client, aswell as the blockchain.
MY wallet is stuck at synchronizing but hasn´t sincd one single block yet.
Therefore i hoped i could simply download the block history and manually load it into the client (why else would you be able to download it from the download page manually?)

Won´t you get massive variance from such a small TEK pool?
Currently there are over 4TH/s on a network of 24TH/s - it's not the smallest. We are just pushing to crack that first block and have been in discussion with TEK developer regarding the ability to mine the coin.

I've contacted the VPS host to request an upgrade to the memory, Iceland node will be restarted in due course once memory is upgraded.
well the issue wasn't to do with the server; we are running at nowhere near capacity on that node... i'll ask the boss what he thinks once he's walked the dog and had his meal.

ADD: i'd advise making the EU node your failover, that way you won't lose any shares if this happens again.
People aren't smart. Failover should always be server-side.
