10-20 mins of downtime coming up for migration to new server

Hi Ozcoin members,
Recently we announced that payouts from Ozcoin would be 55BTC per Block. Today we were made aware that we havent actually been paying that 10% extra.
We have updated ozco.in/blocks.php to reflect 55BTC + TXN per block but the earnings currently show the 50BTC rate.
We have recalculated and made an extra payment to miners to pay this 10% for the 5 blocks solved since the change was made.
Blocks from the end of this round will show correct earnings at 55BTC rate.
I hope this has not caused anyone any inconvenience.

In other news we are migrating to our new AU server over the next 24hours - this will require some brief downtime - hopefully no more than 10mins.

Once the new AU server is setup we will be bringing a US based server online - we will be able to offer port80 mining on US server.

Despite falling network hashrate Ozcoin is increasing its hashrate daily!

Working at migrating to our new AU server today - we are expecting some small amount of downtime for DB replication and cutover.

Next will be the new USA server located in Dallas and we will be accepting port 80 mining on this server.

More good news 55btc per round continues indefinately, and our pool hashrate is picking up despite network hashrate dropping

Frstly the bad news:
An attempt to hack the Ozcoin website and server occured just a couple of hours ago.No harm was done but some user passwords *may* have been compromised. Please go to http://ozco.in and use the "Change Password" feature in the news post to reset your password. We have also upgraded the security on passwords.
Also if anyone has used the same passwords on Ozcoin and any other BTC sites I would strongly advise you also change those to strong and unique passwords.

The good news:
We at Ozcoin realise the depressed price of BTC and the ongoing costs of mining are making it difficult for some miners. So in an attempt to make mining on Ozcoin better value to miners we will payout 55BTC+TXN for the next 10 rounds on Ozcoin. 10% more per block!!! Commencing next round.

We are also starting on an advertising capmaign to try to build Ozcoin's hashrate, we are very aware that we need to reduce variance for miners. Recently members have been donating to "block finder bonuses" currently we have 3BTC waiting for the miner that finds the first block on Ozcoin when we have a hashrate over 200Ghash/s.

Can we please use nicknames instead of usernames on the "pool stats" page.
 
I don't like having my account name published on this public list, makes me a target for hackers.  Other sites use workername (bitclockers) or let you set a nickname (ars, deepbit)
