Hello miners,

There was some updates to the site this morning. some back end stuff some front end stuff you know how it goes?

One thing i would like to point out is the dead/idle miner email system which will send you a email if your mine has gone idle for more then 5 minutes you will receive a email every hour till its fixed Smiley

On the other note Stales are done to a all low less then 1% on site.

Thanks to everyone mining @ Ozco.in

good news about the stales.
Sorry no plans to introduce other payment systems at the moment.
I put a long post here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/why-would-you-mine-with-anything-but-a-pps-pool-38549 with my thoughts, thanks for the input Smiley

richielambert31 will be recieving 2BTC for finding the first block in this incentive period Cheesy

I love your pool's low stale rate, but I notice a lot of hashrate fluctuation.  This would be reduced greatly if you offered a PPS payout system as an alternative to proportional.

It is my great pleasure to announce that Caesium (ex RFCPool owner) has joined the Ozcoin coding team Cheesy

I feel honoured to have him join us Smiley

It is with great dissapointment that I must announce that Caeseum had his arm twisted by old rfcpool members into starting up again.
So Caesium will not be joining the Ozcoin coding team. Sad

Good luck with it Caesium Smiley

I can confirm that they have very low stales, which is impressive given the ping to Australia. It's like 0.0x% for me.

a small update:

Code: (proxy, status page)
User Shares: 22721
Rejects: 1
Rejected: 0.00%

Code: (https://Ozco.in, left side stats when logged in)
Lifetime Shares	22,728
Lifetime Stales 1
Total Stale Rate 0.004%

Valid This Round 4,727 shares

Now Lifetime Shares seems to include the Valid This Round as one would expect  Wink
Somehow got a few extra shares from nowhere though  Huh (although it might as well be a counting error in the software on my end)

Very good work in getting Stales this low, very good  Cool

Thank you Cheesy

I think this is a good time to acknowledge the awesome effort put in by ckolivas on cgminer
It has been an honour and a priviledge to have ckolivas mining on ozco.in and in our irc chan Cheesy
Watching Ycros and ckolivas working together to optimise both cgminer and Ozcoin's pool software has been awesome. This is also a benefit to cgminer's users on other pools and other mining software used on  Ozcoin Smiley
We have miners in UK, Europe and US all reporting consistent low stales
Great work guys!

after our server failure on saturday we are running on a temporay machine
That's what changed the luck, don't change a thing with the server and don't you, Wayno or Ycros go doing the same again next weekend:

  • Break mirrors
  • Cook black cats up on the BBQ
  • Drink VB

Not that I have anything against you guys drinking a beer, just made sure it's a Cascade Pale Ale Cheesy

I have just one word when it comes to stales, WOW Shocked
Code: (proxy, status page)
User Shares: 12835
Rejects: 1
Rejected: 0.01%

Code: (https://Ozco.in, left side stats when logged in)
Lifetime Shares	9,982
Lifetime Stales 0
Total Stale Rate 0.000%

Valid This Round 2,851 shares

Lifetime Shares doesn't seem to include Valid This Round.
Is it supposed to be like that?

I wonder where the 56 share difference(12835-9982-2797) ended up?
(ah, "Valid This Round" increases quite some time after one has stopped mining, stats on the left side are not up to date even if it just has updated, 45min delay?)
(only a 2 share difference now, and one of those is the rejected one, right?)

yes. after our server failure on saturday we are running on a temporay machine, some of the optimisations needed reapplying as well the 10,000,000+ shares round tested us out, a lot of this has been addressed and we are looking forward to a better server in a few days Cheesy

I've tried to read through the thread but I haven't found the answer.

Current balance is what you've earned after 100 confirmations?

Estimated earnings is the current block.

How do you find out what's waiting for confirmations? I guess it just shows up in 8-10 hours?

If you could show unconfirmed earnings that would be awesome. If it's already displayed can someone tell me where. Tongue

Exactly what I was looking for thanks!
