I split my hashrate between 3 pools, one of them being Ozcoin. All of them have the same payout threshold. Since the 2nd, I've gotten nothing from Ozcoin. I've gotten 4 payouts from one pools, and 3 from the third.

My DGM stats have a huge missing hole between 2013-09-23 and 2013-10-10. I did get paid on 10-02, but my current Pending Payout is only 0.3BTC. Can you fix this?

hi,there is weird thing, my btc account address has been changed to another which is not mine , and the "pool option" page says address locked, and I can't change it back , can sb from manage team give me an answer? I've lost 2 weeks revenue on this. my account name is : avalon.default

Thank you for coming to IRC to resolve this.  We are still digging into all issues with the pool to bring you the best mining experience.

I won't worry about updating my possible balance, it'll just be a donation of shares to the pool.

Thank you for your generosity.

I had to leave because I suspected deeper issues than the ''bad'' luck.  Can we resolve here or should I PM you?

Regards,
Wave

TBH, I rarely actually check the forums, that is why I am suggesting that you come to the IRC channel.  I do take everything into PM after you contact us on the IRC channel though.

All OzCoin miners,

As you all know, we have had a series bad issues, as well as bad luck with the block findings on the pool.

The good news, is that we have acually gotten the back end finally working as it is supposed to, and things "should" be smooth sailing form this point on.

The bad news is, there is a gap of data that we can not recover.  We have been trying our damndest to gather what data we could to recover all data.  The following is a list of things that lead up to the database crash.

Sept 24th or so, we were getting prepared for the server migration, and got our last valid backup of the database, and moved it to the new server.
Since the server migration, we noticed that the database was acting strange, and we have been digging into it.
We had hourly backups running, so we figured the crash that happened would be recoverable quickly.
On Oct 9th, one of the commands that was run to help repair the database, completely corrupted it.  Once we saw that the database was corrupted, we stopped all processes dealing with the database, and started the recovery process.
Upon the startup of the backup recovery, we discovered that the backups were also corrupted!
We spent a good 24 hours digging and scrambling to find ANY good backup that we could restore, and the latest non-corrupted backup was dated Sept 24th, the server migration backup.

Now that the database is back in order, albeit with a gap of data, we have added a process of making sure the hourly backups are validated after the backup, so we will not have this kind of gap of data if the database crashes again.

Due to the gap of missing data, we have no real way to determine what every miner's exact balance was at the time of the crash.  The latest value we have is from Sept 24th, and all new from Oct 10th.  We have come up with a way to get an estimate of what your payout would have been at the time of the crash, but we will have to handle everyone's accounts on an individual bases.  Please join us on the IRC chat channel #ozcoin on the freenode IRC network, so we can deal with you on an individual bases.  If you do not know how to get to the IRC network or the channel, you can follow this link. http://ozcoin.net/content/ozcoin-webirc

From looking at the data, all accounts fall into the following categories:
1) The big miners will be least impacted, due to getting faster payouts, and therefore are more or less on target with their payouts
2) The medium miners may or may not be be impacted too much, depending on how often they got their payouts
3) The small miners are the most impacted, since they don't get payouts except for maybe once every few days or even weeks.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that has happened, and we are taking all measures possible so this will never happen again.

Decided to not just edit, but to repost to add this.

This only affects BTC mining, not the LTC pool.

Blaksmith, i'd like to claim missing data reimbursement for my current hash rate please... ;)

At 0 MH/s, you should earn 0.00000000 BTC/day ($0.00) on average (0.00000000 BTC/hr)
* Blaksmith pays QG his missing coin of 0.00 at your current hash rate
hehe
thank you

So for those of us who lost a substantial amount, are we screwed or can our btc be recovered? I, for one, have payouts at a fairly high amount.
Since I know you are an IRC user, please take this to IRC.

But no, you are not "Screwed" as you put it.  We have a few means of coming up with an estimate of what you should have had at the time of the crash, within a few .001 BTC.  But, as stated, please come to IRC to deal with this on an individual bases.

Some updates would be appreciated. Really appreciated. I'm a tiny miner and the few fragments of coins i manage to mine are important to me. Seeing payouts dissapear into thin air is really scary. Please give us some progress updates!

Pool: [ 0 MHash/s | 0 Users | 0 Workers ]

Same issue here, should I shut my miners down for the duration of this? Just got out of hospital today after three days so not sure what the go is

We had a database crash, and we are in the process of recovering what we can.  All mining nodes are online and caching shares.  Once we have this issue resolved, the shares will start to flow again.

We have also set the main site into maintenance mode while we recover this.
