eu.ozco.in has been having some issues, we have restarted it but it is throwing some errors - I recommend switching to eu2 or one of the us servers for time being
sorry for any inconvenience
Graet

update
eu.ozco.in is not playing nice - moved DNS to eu2.ozco.in until we can resolve eu's issues

I have all of the ozcoin servers set up as backup pools. Not a bad idea for others to do this as well.

we have been having some upstream ISP issues, weird routes, some packet loss and lag
this has caused some issues for mining nodes communicating back to DB server
mining nodes are setup to cache shares in situations like these and are starting to catch up
site hashrate and user stats may look strange for some time while stats catch up.

I was going to ask if something was awry.  Things were looking really funny.

Oddly enough, at the same time I was having weird conn problems, but I wasn't having any problems getting shares to you.  I disconnected and reconnected to my ISP, and that resolved my conn problems, but the stats still look funny, as you said they will.

temporarily reduce fees to 2% for DGM and 4% for PPS.
I'm happy to be, temporarily Smiley, back.

Thank you, Graet.

-- edit --

I assume you will soon get around to updating this page:
https://ozcoin.net/content/fee-structure

Of course, with the "temporarily" caveat.

Glad to hear good luck right when my other pool had problems so my load switched to OzC for a bit Smiley

Asking again I know, but what exchange is the basis for the direct NCM->BTC conversion in the pool?
https://exchange.bitparking.com/main

Last price? how often do you update it, does script load it directly from bitparking site?
last price from http://exchange.bitparking.com:8080/api/ticker updated every 5 minutes

In other news I am pleased to announce effective immediately Ozcoin will temporarily reduce fees to 2% for DGM and 4% for PPS.
We will reassess fee structures, Merged Mining and PPS through November and announce any changes prior to the halving of block rewards.
Estimated time of Bitcoin block reward halving: Fri Nov 30 11:01:00 2012 | Time remaining: 9 weeks, 1 day, 3 hours, 20 minutes, and 0 seconds

A reminder, Ozcoin DGM is one of the few pools paying out transaction fees and merge mining namecoins.

best wishes and may the luck be with you Smiley
