Seems Cloudbet cleared themselves out of it.
JUst saying, but it seems like the guy who had his bet cancelled , did email cloudbet and had waited for more than 72 hours for a reply. He also seems to have bumped the cloudbet thread multiple times , and even though cloudbet had been online multiple times they didn't seem to reply. So I definitely still think Cloudbet is rated higher , even when it doesn't deserve so. On the other hand, I believe you should consider bumping up Directbet as it has probably been the most promising casino in the past few days.

I am in no way affiliated with them  , but I have found directbet to be definitely much better than Cloudbet, even though I see here that cloudbet is rated higher.

So i notice for mlb, nitrogen has a 4btc limit for ml and totals.  However as it gets close to gametime, its 10 btc limits.  Then when its very close to gametime, its 20btc limits.   First off, if you bet the max btc allowed with 4btc, can you rebet again similar to pinnacle?  Or do you have to wait for the line to move, then you can bet another 4btc.  The same with when it gets to 10 btc limits and then 20btc limits.  Also is there a way to bet more on the overnight limits?
They don't allow you to bet more than the limit so you can't rebet until a limit increase. I haven't tried to double pop myself, but that's what I was told by Nitrogen some time ago when I asked.

How about cloudbet, I have seen so many complaints about that, the nearest case is that a guy said CB cancelled his bet and claimed CB is a scam, but actually the match result of his bet was retirement, it is very normal to cancel tennis retirement bets, so I re-consider CB again, I wanna do more research on CB cause their odds are highest, tennis betting only has very low 5% margin there, much lower than other casinos' 7%-10% margin.

I did read that in the Cloudbet thread but it looks like their rules cover retirement.

Quote
Hi there

As we mentioned in our email - as per our sportsbook rules, all in-play tennis bets are voided in the event of a retirement. In the bet in question, you made a live in-play tennis bet and there was a retirement, so your bets were void as per our rules.

https://www.cloudbet.com/en/sportsbook_rules

Live Tennis

For live Tennis events the following rules apply, and will supersede those of pre-live tennis:

In case of a retirement and walk over of any player all undecided bets are considered void.
If a player retires all undecided bets are considered void.
Every tie-break or Match tie-break counts as 1 game.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help with.

This is the sort of thing that's scary about Cloudbet.

They have no problem offering the highest limits for btc books in many cases, and indeed, for any book anywhere, yet they can't afford to keep all shifts covered with a cs person?
And can't respond to posts in their thread on bitcointalk and/or emails sent to their cs, within a reasonable amount of time?

The other scary thing is that it can take up to 24 hours to get paid.
The excuse for this is that they sometimes need to refill their hotwallet from their coldwallet.
That's fine, but I've asked a few times if they can explain to me how that can take 24 hours, and I never get a response.
An hour perhaps is acceptable for this. How difficult is it to take care of this?
So the question to me is, are they scrambling to come up with bitcoins to refill the wallet? Because I can't think of a legitimate reason to take more than an hour or so. (Technically, it can be accomplished in minutes).

Hi Gogo ppp,

Thanks for your post.

Firstly, we have previously posted a link to a wallet with 1000 BTC as proof of funds. Please see here:

Our customer support staff do not have access to funds in cold storage - only our senior management do.

We always, always, always process withdrawals within 24 hours. Most - very close to all - withdrawals happen much more quickly. At present we are processing >97% of withdrawals within 15 minutes. For large withdrawals, we always have an element of manual oversight and even then they are always processed within 24 hours.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help with.

Cheers,
Cloudbet

You should probably re-evaluate cloudbet. They really don't seem to be replying to problems people are facing on the site( see their thread)  and also saw this post yesterday on reddit

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3g997w/cloudbet_wont_give_me_my_prize_1btc_for_winning/

I think you're right. They take large bets but their customer service is poor. It doesn't make a lot of sense.

I can see that from a small shop without a lot of employees but a bigger shop should be replying in a timely manner. That said, they have always been quick to reply to PMs that I have sent to them.

Our customer service team is available 24/7. That said, we are growing in customers quickly, and are also expanding our customer support teams. We are in the process of onboarding 2x new customer support teams so our email response time will drop markedly, along with the addition of live chat in coming months.

Cheers,
Cloudbet

Hi all,

The staff member responsible for that contest does not work over the weekend, and the winner of the competition wrote to us on Friday evening. Relax - they will be paid in full. Wow, you try and give people prizes and they can't wait until Monday!

I must have missed this in their thread. Did they post that or tell you by PM/email?

Not related to the Reddit thread.

Just response I've gotten when withdrawal was slow. Also pretty sure they've mentioned that in their threads here and elsewhere when payments were slow.

Even if its a small shop, there is no reason not to reply to the accusations that exist on their thread, specially when they have been online and have seen all the posts. As for the delay, if thats something they are not good at, they shouldn't be regarded as being one of the best casinos.
Good points. I'll shoot them a PM.

This just broke today:

"BetOwi Player Claims Payouts Taking Over Six Weeks"

A BetOwi Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) player has filed a complaint with SBR. The player is owed $10,000 and has claimed that payouts are taking over six weeks to be processed. The player claimed that BetOwi alleged they tried to call him 20 times; the player counters by saying he has zero missed calls."

http://www.sportsbookreview.com/

And a followup today also:

" BetOwi Sportsbook comments on Payout Complaint

BetOwi Sportsbook (SBR rating C) has addressed the payout complaint reported earlier this morning. A player claimed that he has a $10,677 balance and had not been paid for six weeks. BetOwi countered by stating that they have been in touch more than ten times via telephone to confirm his payment details, but the player only answered the phone today."

"BetOwi player: "What frustrates me about their response is they are talking about one $500 payout not the fact that it took 6 weeks or the fact that they still owe me $10k and have made no effort to expedite the process or attempt to pay more than $500 every six weeks.  I refuse to continue to gamble with them because I know there is no chance of me getting my money out of this account "

BetOwi is a sister sportsbook to SportsbettingOnline."

Ibid.

Wasn't aware or forgot that they require personal info.
That's not good, but the incident above means I wouldn't go near them.

I still haven't gotten anywhere with them owning me $8.2k. SBR won't talk to me at all and won't let me have an account for the forum. Peeps tried to talk to them on my behalf too, they wouldn't have it.

"SBR won't talk to me at all and won't let me have an account for the forum."

What reason do they give for this?

"Peeps tried to talk to them on my behalf too, they wouldn't have it."

Same question.

Peepsplace has a good relationship with the bitcoin books and the top books have been great with communication and helping to solve disputes. Sportsbettingonline does not want to get involved with us since we deal solely with bitcoin books. I don't want to continue pushing Sportsbettingonline since they aren't part of the books that we rate. Sorry that I couldn't help out.
