Fortunejack downgraded from "C" to "D+". FJ confiscated 5 BTC from a player accusing the player of having multiple accounts. FJ posted the IP of the accounts claimed to be owned by one person. One IP address is from Virginia in the USA. The other in the state of Michigan. The log in times are 18 minutes apart. It seems as though the player only has one account. The player filed his phone number and email address with FortuneJack. FJ didn't ask for any other KYC information for either account.

5 BTC Reasons to not pay. Big amounts its always a problem to pay for sports betting, thats another case but 5 btc is really huge.

What I am interested in is how this ranking is determined. Which factors play a role in this? And what is the value assessment per factor? I think that every sportsbook has its own advantages and aspects, which makes it more difficult to weigh it against each other. Maybe an idea to set the guidelines and criteria somewhere (possibly based on experiences / questions / comments from users)

@Peeps Place

Which liquidity is used, is there an api connection with Betfair for example? Since in the beginning, it might be very difficult to get enough people to fill the liquidity. I also think its better to show the balance in liquidity in BT or preferrable mBTC(or your currency in your case), since users will deposit with Cryptocurrency

malubit - Thanks for the question. The following is used to set ratings. With the exception of #1 and #2, the order isn't set in stone.

1. Security - getting paid is by far most important.

2. Working with the forum. This is a player's thread and books are held responsible for their actions. Questions are asked of books concerning number of employees, time in business, experience, poster problems, etc. If a book is going to ignore a player's thread, they will be severely downgraded. Most books are very easy to work with. There is one book that still hasn't replied concerning a problem with a player. If there isn't a reply, this is going to hurt the book. That said, this thread isn't going to used for arbitration since it's a no win situation.

The following cannot be quantified as to importance since being highly detrimental in one category may supersede other criteria used.

3. Poster review - poster review is much more important at bitcointalk than other forums, but other forums are also read. A high review from a new book will weigh less than the review of a book that's been in existence 2+ years.

4. Anonymous - one of the reasons that bitcoin books are used is to stay anonymous. There may be times where it is necessary to question players but it should be a minimum.

5. Margins - If players are going to have a chance to beat a book the margins have to be tight enough to give us that chance. If the margins are larger than -110 (1.91) that's a big blow to a book's rating.

6. Payout speed - If the average is longer than one hour, a book will be downgraded. One hour is sufficient due to possible grading errors. A large book is dealing with a significant amount of money along with a huge player base.

7. Markets - The more betting options, the better.

8. Traffic  - time in business along with amount of players that a book has gives us a large sample size.

9. Currencies used - It's easier on the player if we are allowed to deposit and withdraw from alts.

Miscellaneous - Books accepting fiat currencies are omitted from the guide. Other forums are read to make sure the ratings here aren't significantly out of line with the average of other books.

Flagship - I'm not ignoring the question. I'm in the process now of putting together the criteria used for the ratings. The question concerning Fairlay was just easier to answer since it only required a link which is why that was posted first.

I posted a ratings guide of several other sites. Using the average, Nitrogen was #1 and Betcoin #2. I'll post that again later.

Since Peeps just completely ignored you please allow me to answer your question.
His ratings are paid for, plain and simple.  They dont mean squat and you shoouldnt put much attention to them.
Hes been around for a while, but that doesnt mean hes as honest as he wants you to think.

Is there anyone who knows how to get the parlay option at Fairlay here? I saw user danhan is mentioned by thegreen (hope they can see this) but I could not find the app on fairlay itself. My opinion of Fairlay bets is that they settle a bit slow,,, by this I mean the bet itself settles but money only goes into your account on the next day. But I like their odds.
