If you want to be a millionare just work hard. It's not likely that 1 investment will make you a milionaire.

But it can happen with bitcoin, if 'it' works. But you still need to hold a lot of bitcoins.

I don't think 10 btc will be enough to be a millionaire in 2030. Seems a little farfetched to aim for this. I think you'd need either way more than 10 btc to reach this.
I honestly doubt that 1 btc will ever be equal to 1 million dollar.

it might be wont be able to see it maybe our grand kids
but from some point yes it might need some time but if we hols some btc we dont have to millionaires just to have enough for some luxury life after

if with just 10BTC can make you become a millionaire , what about people who own 1000BTC? i think they'll be a quillionaire  Grin

Does anyone on this forum have 1000 BTC? I wouldn't think so as I doubt that most people invest over $450,000 in Bitcoin. Personally, I would never do that.

One might not buy BTC worth $450,000, but what if they were early birds and could have mined 1000 Bitcoins and may have already sold them when the price spiked to $1k???

Remember the time when mining started, people could mine BTC easily with their PCs...
That was a long time ago when you could mine with a simple CPU.

IMO, The people who sold their coins when the price hit $1000 were very lucky.

But IMHO, they were not...
Bitcoins have always proved to go back to the price where they were, and I am saying this in regards to spike and not just doom...
So, the price is definitely going to move ahead of previous ATH, history will repeat itself, but this time, we don't know where it will take us... Wink

We will see about that, but there so much people that have more than 10 bitcoin. I am just not thinking that it will be so big after that I think we will see a good price around 1500 dollars for bitcoin, but that high I am not sure abut it.

Lol you need far more btc then 10 to become a millionaire.
Suppose the experiments fails, then you will be living on the streets?

I advice you to also bet on other investments mate.

Um, if someone loses 10 BTC purchased at $200 each he is only risking $2000.  Or, for sake of argument, let's say he purchased them at the ATH of $1200, the most he could potentially be out is $12,000.

I sure hope that he won't be living on the streets if he loses 10 BTC!   Cheesy

I think the real question is, when you account for inflation, will a million dollars really be all that much in 2030?

I don't see it happen at all.
Remember that bitcoin is not here to make some new millionares. It's there as a newage payment solution.
Controlled and maintained by the users and miners.

Alright but what many are counting on is that it is continued to get adopted by more people. If this continues to happens, then Bitcoin will eventually reach higher and higher prices due to demand. If you ask many of early adopters then having it at around $500 per BTC is really a crazy altogether. So it's logical to think that it will continue to rise as it has been during recent years.

I think there would be an event where either Bitcoin becomes obsolete or forgotten or it becomes the standard payment for digital goods or new system. I don't see Bitcoin just raising in value $50-100 per year for 20 more years really, that scenario just doesn't make sense to me.

I am pretty sure guys with 1000 btc will be millionaire that time but 10?
I mean 2030 seems too early for that.

of course has 1000 BTC will become a millionaire, even today if it has 1000 BTC at current prices can be called a millionaire Smiley

I find it funny to see that no one seems to believe Bitcoin can rise by 200 times in 14 years while it has done much bigger things before.

If only 1% of the world population will use Bitcoin than the price will have to be several orders of magnitude higher than it is now. $100,000 is absolutely nothing.

Even with $100,000 per Bitcoin we would be a relatively small currency.

So what if a handful of people become billionaires overnight? It's not like this has ne ear happened before in tech.

Did Facebook not get the billionth member because "oh no, if Facebook hits a billion members mark zuckerburg would become one of the richest persons of the world so a magical force will prevent Facebook from growing that big". No of course not.

A few people might become billionaires overnight, deal with it.

Most whales will have sold by then anyway.
That is what is called scale effect. It is much easier to grow a penny stock into a dollar per share, than a dollar stock into a $100 per share, although in both cases the increase is 100 fold. If you like Facebook example, take any Internet company that is on the stock exchange and ask yourself the following question: why despite all the successes in the recent 10 years or more, shares like Apple, Google or Facebook are still below $1k?
The same applies to Bitcoin. We went all the way from cents to $1k (which is btw. an amazing achievement), but it is much more difficult to grow further, if there is still relatively little done in terms of mass adoption, for example.

Well, they just had issued so many shares that it did not so far go above 1K, nothing more or less. BRK-A has few shares and it is at $193000/share.
According to this logic, bitcoin should be around $0.5-1.5, because that's where most G7 currencies are, hence it is not a stock.
If bitcoin goes much above $1k, nobody will use "whole" btc, will switch to using mbtc or even micro's as a default for typical small transactions.

too fast to think like that, but if it is true, if the 10 BTC can make people become millionaires, perhaps people who have 1 BTC alone can be called a rich man, but it was all just a dream if prices of BTC  do not rise   Grin

If 10 BTC made you a millionaire, then someone with 1000 BTC would be worth $100,000,000. In 2013, there were over 50,000 people who had at least $100,000,000. If you had 100,000 BTC, they would be worth $10 billion. In 2013, there were over 2000 billionaires.

10 would be fine in this scenario perhaps little more but if all calculation and prediction are in order we can expect that price goes on 5 digits so we can all be millionaires in this scenario
